  • my layout breaks in IE7 and javascript page reloads make the screen blink

    My layout breaks if I change the window size in IE7/AOL, so I added a simple javascript function that fires on window.onresize, but no matter how I change the location I get problems. It was suggested I post a link and here it is: link text I already use PHP to detect browser and include an IE7-only inline stylesheet (and for mobile browsers), and my page looks nearly identical to the way it does in FF, Opera, Chrome, Safari and IE8, but when I change the window size, some things go wonky, and come back into line if you refresh. Any advice is welcome :)

  • ASP.NET site errors output nothing on the page.

    OK, i have been doing some work modding a pre-compiled ASP.NET application (VB codebehind) but i have come across something i have never seen before. When ever theres an error on the loading of a page, the page outputs nothing (no error message, no error message, nothing at all) firefox displays this error: XML Parsing Error: no element found Location: http://site.local/Checkout.aspx Line Number 1, Column 1: Because there is no html output. Is there some sort of setting that im missing that makes IIS/ASP.NET function like this?

  • SQL Invalid Object Name 'AddressType'

    I am getting the above error in my VS 2008 C# method when I try to invoke the SQL getColumnNames stored procedure from VS. This SP accepts one input parameter, the table name, and works successfully from SSMS. Currently I am selecting the AdventureWorks AddressType table for it to pull the column names from this table. I can see teh AdventureWorks table available in VS from my Server Explorer / Data Connection. And I see both the AddressType table and getColumnNames SP showing in Server Explorer. But I am still getting this error listed above.     Is there any tool (editor, script, whatever...) available that can automatically reformat R code? It does not need to be customizable but it must be able to recognize statements separated by either semicolons or newlines since this code has both. If it can put all statements on a separate line, consistently indent code blocks and consistently place braces I will be very happy.

  • Remove extra junk from C preprocessor?

    I'm trying to use the C preprocessor on non-C code, and it works fine except for creating lines like this at the top: # 1 "test.java" # 1 "<built-in>" # 1 "<command-line>" # 1 "test.java" The problem is that these lines aren't valid in Java. Is there any way to get the preprocessor to not write this stuff? I'd prefer not to have to run this through something else to just remove the first 4 lines every time.

    In android emulator, I am in landscape mode and double click the text edit panel. the softkeyboard does not show up. However, it works in portrait mode. I have check some of posts on line. They said because of hardkeyboard is available in landscape mode. If that so, how can i disable the hardkeyboard. Or is there any setting reason for this problem?
