• Python: Getting INVALID response from PayPal's Sandbox IPN, slowly going insane...

  Hi All I am trying to implement a simple online payment system using PayPal, however I have tried everything I know and am still getting an INVALID response. I know it's nothing too simple, because I get a VERIFIED response when using the IPN simulator. I have tried putting the items into a dict first, I have tried fixing the encoding, and still nothing. • SQLCLR using the wrong version of the .NET Framework

  During a recent restart of our development server the SQL Server started using .NET 4.0 for the SQLCLR. This means that nothing using the CLR in SQL works, or at least that's my understanding by reading these sources: http://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2009/10/16/sql-server-2008-sqlclr-net-framework-version/ www.sqlskills.com/BLOGS/BOBB/post/On-SQL-Server-and-NET-40.aspx All we get are error messages of this type: Msg 6517, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Failed to create AppDomain "xxx.dbo[ddl].3". Method's type signature is not Interop compatible. Does anyone know how to solve this or how we can force SQL Server CLR to use an earlier version of the Framework?

• Some basic questions about Django, Pyjamas and Clean URLs

  I am farily new to the topic, but I am trying to combine both Django and Pyjamas. What would be the smart way to combine the two? I am not asking about communication, but rather about the logical part. Should I just put all the Pyjamas generated JS in the base of the domain, say http://www.mysite.com/something and setup Django on a subdirectory, or even subdomain, so all the JSON calls will go for http://something.mysite.com/something ? As far as I understand now in such combination theres not much point to create views in Django? Is there some solution for clean urls in Pyjamas, or that should be solved on some oy,ther level? How? Is it a standard way to pass some arguments as GET parameteres in a clean url while calling a Pyjamas generated JS?

• Internet Explorer blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors

  I have a security certificate linked to a CDN's server. The main website is https:www.connect4fitness.com When I pull the site up in firefox or chrome, everything works fine. But in IE I get the following error: "Internet Explorer blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors." On IE 9 it shows the button "Display Content" and you can get past the error by clicking on the button. On older versions on I the error message is much more cryptic and is confusing users. Please note that I don't have the option of asking end users to add the site to Trusted Sources as some folks use the site from their work computers and do not have that access. Also, some people don't bother to call once they hit the error. I have looked at the content and all my links are "https" only. I had one namespace link and I got rid of it. Any idea about how I can find what is triggering this message?

  I am using the editArea library and jquery to do what i need... http://www.cdolivet.com/index.php?page=editArea&sess=2b8243f679e0d472397bfa959e1d3841 so in my html there is an iframe tag that editArea uses what i need is to access something like so with jquery $('iframe textarea').keydown(function (e){ number = 17; //any number really :) if(e.which == number){ //do something... alert('Done...'); } }); I tried the above but it looks like it is not detecting that key. but it works if selector was $(document) therefore the rest of the function works it's just it's not picking up the iframes textarea keydown any ideas?   I have a problem in a Ruby on Rails app that I am working on. I have been working on the app for months and I have never had this problem before and after a bit of Google searches I think that somehow someone is trying to steal cookies with javascript. When I click on the link I get an alert box titled "the page at www.napkinboard.com says:" and contains the following message: __utmz=217223433.1270652009.59.3.utmcsr=localhost:3000|utmccn=(referral)|utmcmd=referral|utmcct=/; __utma=217223433.2133018314.1265749085.1271097412.1271125626.63; __utmc=217223433; __utmb=217223433.11.10.1271125626 I checked the database and all data associated with this 'food_item' looks completely normal and does not contain any javascript at all. How did this suddenly happen and how can I stop it? I appreciate any help. Thanks.

I have replaced the original scraping destination in the below code with googles webpage, just for testing. It seems that my download doesnt get everything, i note that the body and the html tags are missing their close tags. How do i get it to download everything?   Hello, Currently, I have a build chain, completly manage by automake, like: .vala > .c > .o > .exe I would like add a new step for preprocess a XML file .ui into a vala source: .ui > .vala > .c > .o > .exe I did this, in makefile.am gtkbuilder2vala_SOURCES = \ abstract-window.ui \ main.vala \ $(NULL) And: XSLTPROC = xsltproc .ui.vala: $(XSLTPROC) ... But make don't understand: make: *** No rule to make target `abstract-window.c', needed by `gtkbuilder2vala-abstract-window.o'. Stop. This seems to be a limitation of make: http://www.ensta.fr/~diam/dev/online/autoconf/autobook/autobook_180.html if the translation takes three steps--from .m' to.x', then from .x' to.c', and finally to `.o'---then Automake's simplistic approach will break.   I've looked at the example script of python-pam and linux pam pages, but it's a bit confusing, at least for a beginner in PAM (that I am): http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/libs/pam/Linux-PAM-html/Linux-PAM_ADG.html http://packages.ubuntu.com/python-pam Is it possible to check if a user has or does not have access to login, without entering password? I would like to create a script that root can use to check if a user is allowed or not to login to the system. If so, can someone post an example that checks if the user is allowed against pam_time?   I am trying to trying to export a client certificate for use with a web browser. The goal is to restrict access using the <Location directive to the admin area. I have seen numerous tutorials on using self signed CAs. How would you do this using a third party? 1) Do I need to include the CA in the client pfx if it is a trusted root CA? I have seen both examples. Without CA: openssl pkcs12 -export -inkey KEYFILENAME -in CERTFILEFILENAME -out XXX.pfx With CA: openssl pkcs12 -export -in my.crt- inkey my.key -certfile my.bundle -out my.pfx 2) Do I need to still include SSLCACertificateFile for trusted CA in the httpd.conf setup? • 100% height on nested table cell in IE

  I want a nested table to expand to the height of the enclosing cell. This works as expected in Firefox/Chrome/Safari, but not in IE7 or IE8. Please see the example here: http://www.bitmechanic.com/heightDemo.html The DOCTYPE is relevant. While the demo above validates as HTML 4.01 Strict, it does not render properly in IE7. If I remove the DOCTYPE entirely, or set it to HTML 3.2, it renders properly in IE. Any suggestions on how to get this to render in 4.01 (strict or loose)? The actual web site is a bit more complicated -- changing the DOCTYPE will cause all sorts of other problems. We're struggling to understand the (presumed) IE bug here and how to work around it. thanks -- James

• Shortest Ruby Quine

  Just finished reading this blog post: http://www.skorks.com/2010/03/an-interview-question-that-prints-out-its-own-source-code-in-ruby/ In it, the author argues the case for using a quine as an interview question. I'm not sure I agree but thats not what this question is about. He goes on to construct a quine in Ruby and refactor it to make it shorter. He then challenges the reader to try to make it even shorter. I played around with it for a while and came up with the following: s="s=;puts s[0,2]+34.chr+s+34.chr+s[2,36]";puts s[0,2]+34.chr+s+34.chr+s[2,36] This is the first time I have ever attempted a quine and I can't figure out how to make it any shorter. What is the shortest Ruby quine you can come up with? Please post an explanation if your implementation requires it.

  We use FormAuthentication to manage logins and I have a case where a customer complains where he can login from one computer but to from another. I can see in my logs that his authentican is successfull but he gets bumped back to the login page. I can reproduce the symptons by disabling cookies so I asked the customer to test if cookies are enabled on http://www.tempesttech.com/cookies/cookietest1.asp, but this came out positive. What have I missed? Is there any antivirus/security software that can mess up (ASP.NET) cookies? The user is using IE7 and claims to have F-secure installed.

• No styles / images on asp.Net MVC 2 application

  Greetings i have a little problem with my ASP MVC application. On my local development server everything works just fine but when i try to publish the application to an IIS 7.0 server it just displays plain pages without any styles / markups / images. I put all those things in the /Content/ subfolder but when i try to access that folder on the production server it just returns me a 404 not found error. I set the IIS server up with .Net 4.0 and followed the deployment guide on here: http://www.asp.net/learn/mvc/tutorial-08-cs.aspx All views / controllers / classes seem to work just fine, the only thing which does not is the content subfolder and i cant see why. Anyone got a suggestion what i could have overlooked or does anyone know that problem?

• Stop Progressbar manual scrolling in Android

  Hi experts, I have already posted my query here, but unfortunately, not getting the required support for this simple query. http://www.anddev.org/prevent_manual_moving_of_seekbar_widget-t13048.html I am using progressbar widget in my application to show the download progress. In the current state, I am able to manually move the slider back and forth while download is progressing. How can I prevent the manual moving of progressbar, instead it works only based on progressbar.setProgress(progressbar.getProgress() + 1024); -- currently this works perfect, but I need to prevent the manual moving of progressbar during download. • What's the shebang in Facebook URLs for?

  I've just noticed that the long, convoluted Facebook URLs that we're used to now look like this: http://www.facebook.com/example.profile#!/pages/Some-Other-Page/123456789012345 As far as I can recall, earlier this year it was just a normal URL-fragment-like string (starting with #), without the exclamation mark. But now it's a shebang (#!), which I've previously only seen in shell scripts and Perl scripts. Does #! now play some special role in URLs, like for a certain Ajax framework or something since Facebook's interface is now largely Ajaxified? Or is it for some other purpose?
