• Issue accessing remote Infinispan mbeans

  I am able to access the Mbeans by local Jconsole but not able to access the MBEANS from a remote Host. "djd7w4r1" read-1) JBREM000200: Remote connection failed: java.io.IOException: Received an invali d message length of -2140864253 Also disabled Remote authentication: -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=12345 Still not able to connect. • Mocking a concrete class : templates and avoiding conditional compilation

I want to a fake database which calls mock services for testing. Also, if anyone has a better way of making a fake class that mimics a concrete class, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to have templated code all over the actual test code (QueryTestCase class). • Correct way to make datasources/resources a deploy-time setting

  I have a web-app that requires two settings: A JDBC datasource A string token I desperately want to be able to deploy one .war to various different containers (jetty,tomcat,gf3 minimum) and configure these settings at application level within the container. My code does this: InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext(); Context envCtx = (javax.naming.Context) ctx.lookup("java:comp/env"); token = (String)envCtx.lookup("token"); ds = (DataSource)envCtx.lookup("jdbc/datasource") Let's assume I've used the glassfish management interface to create two jdbc resources: jdbc/test-datasource and jdbc/live-datasource which connect to different copies of the same schema, on different servers, different credentials etc. Say I want to deploy this to glassfish with and point it at the test datasource, I might have this in my sun-web.xml: ... <resource-ref> <res-ref-name>jdbc/datasource</res-ref-name> <jndi-name>jdbc/test-datasource</jndi-name> </resource-ref> ... but sun-web.xml goes inside my war, right? surely there must be a way to do this through the management interface Am I even trying to do the right thing? Do other containers make this any easier? I'd be particularly interested in how jetty 7 handles this since I use it for development. • Embedded QGraphicsView do not hide after Dialog closes

  I call a QDialog in to modes, showNormal and showFullscreen. In normal mode all works fine. With a Keyevent the Dialog closes as expected. In Fullscreen, after a keyevent the Dialog closes, but the QGraphicsView will stay on top. • Web reference problem on WCF

  I have a WCF service which I am able to connect to from my web application and get data. I now added a web reference to this wcf project to a wsdl file that a shipping company provides. Intention is to get shipping quotes.. I am able to access the objects that are generated from this wsdl file but when I call service.Authenticate("DEMO"); method almost nothing happens. I debug and see the debugger continue to the next lines but there is no change on service parameters and service.isauthorized is null.. • Cannot figure out how to take in generic parameters for an Enterprise Framework library sql statemen

  I have written a specialized class to wrap up the enterprise library database functionality for easier usage. The reasoning for using the Enterprise Library is because my applications commonly connect to both oracle and sql server database systems. My wrapper handles both creating connection strings on the fly, connecting, and executing queries allowing my main code to only have to write a few lines of code to do database stuff and deal with error handling. In order to try and get around that I thought I could just use DbType.Object and figure the DB will figure it out based on the columns the sql is working with. Unfortunately, this is not the case as I get the following error: Implicit conversion from data type sql_variant to varchar is not allowed. Use the CONVERT function to run this query Is there any way to use generic parameters in a wrapper class or am I just going to have to move all my DB code into my main classes?

  Hello lads, I'm working on monitoring some object (cdr-packets). I'm setting up a tcp-server and am listening on port 50043 for the packages. The program as a console application is working just fine, my server is working like it should and i'm receiving the packets. When i try to use it as a service, i cannot seem to get a client connected to my server. Is there something i need to change to deploy this as a service? • XmlHttpRequest bug?

  Hello all. I'm writing a program that among other things needs to download a file given its URL. I'm too lazy to implement the Http/Https protocols manually, so that I needed some library/object/function that'll do the job. Critical requirement: The download must be asynchronous. That is, the thread that issued the download must be able to do something else "while" downloading the file, plus the download must be able to be aborted anytime without any barbaric side effects (such as internal call to TerminateThread). Nice-to-have requirements: Should be able to download the file "into memory". Means - read the contents of the file as they arrive, not necessarily save it into some "file system" file. It'd be nice to have some convenient Win32 progress notification mechanism (waitable event, semahpore, completion port, etc.), rather than just periodically polling the download status. I've chosen the XmlHttpRequest COM object to do the work. It seemed to work fine enough, plus it supported asynchronous mode. However I noticed that after some period it just stops working. That is, after several successful file downloads it stops downloading anything. I periodically poll it to get its status, it reports "in-progress", but nothing actually happens, and there's no network activity. Moreover, when the same process creates another instance of XmlHttpRequest object to perform new downloads - the effect is the same. The object reports "in progress", whereas it doesn't even try to connect to the server (according to network sniffers and system TCP state). The only way to make this object work back is to restart the process. This makes me suspect that there's a sort of a bug (sorry, I meant undocumented feature) in the object. Also it's not a bug at the level of an individual object, since the problem persists when the object is destroyed and another one is created. It's probably some global state of the DLL that implements this object. Does anyone know something about this? Is this a known bug? I'm pretty sure there's no chance that I have another bug in my code, because of which it seems to me to be the bug is in the XmlHttpRequest. I've done enoughtests and spent time with the debugger to conclude without reasonable doubt that it's just the object stops working. BTW, while the object should work, I do all the waiting via MsgWaitXXXX API calls. So that if this object needs the message loop to work properly (for instance, it may create a hidden notification window and bind it to a socket via WSAAsyncSelect) - I give it the opportunity.

• PHP Strange error "0:". Possible Object syntax problem?

  I'm trying to transfer a site from one hosting company to another. I was using 000webhost until the client had hosting and a domain. Now that the client has their domain and hosting, using FatCow.com, I can not for the life of me, debug my PHP code. I'm not getting any errors. I have a successful DB connection. If you procedurally display data, it works, but when I try to use my original objects, something is breaking and just returns "0:". I have all errors on. • breakpoint inside QComboBox subclass not working

  I have subclassed QComboBox to customize it for special needs. The subclass is used to promote QComboBoxes in a ui file from QtDesigner. Everything works except that when I put a break point in a slot, the program does not stop at the breakpoint. I do however know that it is being called from the result it generates. I checked other slots in my program and they work fine with breakpoints. Doing a clean and rebuild all did not fix it. What could be causing this and is there anything I can do about it? The slot in question is the only one in the subclass and is called "do_indexChanged()". • Error using paho-mqtt in App Engine Python App

  I am trying to right a Google Cloud Platform app in python with Flask that makes an MQTT connection. I have included the paho python library by doing pip install paho-mqtt -t libs/. However, when I try to run the app, even if I don't try to connect to MQTT. I get a weird error about IP address checking: RuntimeError: error('illegal IP address string passed to inet_pton',) It seems something in the remote_socket lib is causing a problem. Is this a security issue? Is there someway to disable it? • Trappings MySQL Warnings on Calls Wrapped in Classes -- Python

  I can't get Python's try/else blocks to catch MySQL warnings when the execution statements are wrapped in classes. I have a class that has as a MySQL connection object as an attribute, a MySQL cursor object as another, and a method that run queries through that cursor object. The cursor is itself wrapped in a class. These seem to run queries properly, but the MySQL warnings they generate are not caught as exceptions in a try/else block. Why don't the try/else blocks catch the warnings? How would I revise the classes or method calls to catch the warnings? Also, I've looked through the prominent sources and can't find a discussion that helps me understand this. I'd appreciate any reference that explains this. Please see code below. • Spring.Net Message Selectors with compound statements don't seem to be working

  I'm using Spring.NET to connect to ActiveMQ and do some fairly simple pub sub routing. Everything works fine when my selector is a simple expression like Car='Honda' but if I try a compound expression like Car='Honda' AND Make='Pilot' I never get any matches on my subscription.
