• Free Application Lifecycle Management Tools for .NET Development

  I would like to achieve the following: I want a free Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) environment surrounding vs2008 sp1. (My company is short of cash). I want all the stuff: CI, BugTracking, task panel, Wiki, Source control... all integrating themselves. If I could have some kind of scrum managing tools it would be better. Any recommendation? • .net OpenFileDialog changing the CurrentDirectory

  Hi, I am using OpenFileDialog. But using it changes the Environment.CurrentDirectory. Using the RestoreDirectory property solves this issue, but I'm using external dlls that I can't control that don't use RestoreDirectory. Is there a way to make it true as default? Or is there any other solution to this annoying problem? Thanks.

• Allow users to insert a TAB into a TextBox but not newlines

  I want to have a TextBox which does accept the TAB key (and places a TAB, ASCII 0x09, \t accordingly into the textbox) instead of jumping to the next control. The TextBox has a property AcceptsTab, which I have set to true but this does not give the desired result. It turns out the AcceptsTab property only works then Multiline is set to true as well. However I want to have a one-line TextBox which doesn't accept newlines.

  I think that subject summs it pretty well... I have created my custom validators that work great when I put them on page in design mode. However if I place them in a usercontrol, and then try to add this user control to the parent page via updatepanel, then my custom validators just won't trigger. They simply don't work. • JEDI controls always recompile

  I've just noticed that whenever I do an incremental compile (ctrl-F9) of any of my Delphi 2010 projects, all JEDI units referenced in my project are recompiling although they have not been changed in any way. In fact, if I create a new project, drop a JEDI control on the form and compile, I see all JEDI dependencies getting recompiled. If I think hit ctrl-F9 a second time without making any changes in my project, the same thing happens. Anyone know what's causing this?

• Avaudioplayer problem regarding songs

  I am using avaudioplayer for playing mp3 songs. The problem is in being able to catch the instance of the player to control it i.e. Stop it, Play it etc. The code by default creates multiple instances of the same player and overlaps the songs.   What would be a performance impact if I wrapped every call to an action link (ex. <%=Html.ActionLink(....)) inside a partial view. So in other words instead of calling html extension method for actionlink I would call a html extension method for rendering partial view, and my partialview (user control) would execute the Html.ActionLink(...) method?

  I've been looking around for a decent jQuery plugin that can handle both dates and times. The core UI DatePicker is great, but unfortunately I need to be able to take time in as well. I've found a few hacks for the DatePicker to work with times, but they all seem pretty inelegant and google isn't turning up anything nice.
