• Get all or part result from sql using one TSQL commnd

  Hi All Here is my condition. There is a Text box in a form, if you don't input any thing, it would return all rows in this table. If you input something, it would return rows whose Col1 matches the input. I try to use the sql below to do it. But there is one problem, these columns allows Null value. It wouldn't return the row with NULL value. Is there any way to return all or matched row based on the input? • Things to take care while sending the username and password using Ajax request ?

  Normally we have login page with username, password filed and signin button. Using the normal form based approach we send the data on and page gets post back. Now i would like to change this using the Ajax. As Ajax too using the normal HTTP so i guess nothing in different from the existing workflow barring postback right ? Now my question is is what all securities issues can be there? and what care should be taken for doing so ? Should we encode data using say base64 or so before sending using Ajax?

  Hello I'm trying to teach myself Drupal and I've found something I can't find any tutorials for. I am trying to generate a form, with a dynamic number of text fields, to populate and edit the contents of my custom table. • PDO Prepare statement not processing parameters

  I've exhausted all efforts at what appears to be a trivial problem, but gotten nowhere. There is a simple Prepare statement: $qry = $core->db->prepare("SELECT * FROM users WHERE email = '?'"); $qry->execute(array('[email protected]')); However, no rows are returned. Running the query with the parameters hardcoded into the query results in a successful selection of one row. I've tryed many different methods of doing the prepare, but even it this most simple form it isn't working. The PDO object is stored in a singleton called Core. PDO is using the mysql driver.

• Is it a good practice to perform direct database access in the code-behind of an ASP.NET page?

  Hi, I am an experienced developer but I am new to web application development. Now I am in charge of developing a new web application and I could really use some input from experienced web developers out there. I'd like to understand exactly what experienced web developers do in the code-behind pages. At first I thought it was best to have a rule that all the database access and business logic should be performed in classes external to the code-behind pages. My thought was that only logic necessary for the web form would be performed in the code-behind. I still think that all the business logic should be performed in other classes but I'm beginning to think it would be alright if the code-behind had access to the database to query it directly rather than having to call other classes to receive a dataset or collection back. Any input would be appreciated.

• Is there a class like a Dictionary without a Value template? Is HashSet<T> the correct answer?

  I have 3 tables: Foos, Bars and FooBarConfirmations I want to have a in-memory list of FooBarConfirmations by their hash: FooID BarID Hash 1 1 1_1 2 1 2_1 1 2 1_2 2 2 2_2 What would be the best Class to use to store this type of structure in-memory, so that I can quickly check to see if a combination exists like so: list.Contains("1_2"); I can do this with Dictionary<string,anything>, but it "feels" wrong. HashSet looks like the right tool for the job, but does it use some form of hashing algorithm in the background to do the lookups efficiently?

• How do I download an attachment from an annotation using client-side JScript?

  I'm trying to provide a link to the attachment of a note through the client-side JScript. The standard MS-made Notes component does this through the following url: [serverurl]/[appname]/Activities/Attachment/download.aspx?AttachmentType=5&AttachmentId={blahblahblah}&IsNotesTabAttachment=1&CRMWRPCToken=blahblahblah&CRMWRPCTokenTimeStamp=blahblahblah The problem is that I don't know how to get the Token or TokenTimeStamp, so I'm receiving an Access Denied error ("form is no longer available, security precaution, etc"). The only other way I can think of doing this is through the OData endpoint, but that would at best get me a base64 string that I still would have translate into a filestream to give to the browser (all of which seems like it would take forever to implement/figure out). • How can I use form_remote_tag to update an acts_as_taggable_on field?

  I have a model called Company which is acts_as_taggable_on. When I am /SHOWing a Company (e.g. company/15) I want to be able to see a form that allows me to add tags. I suppose this would be easier by just allowing at edit but sometimes I want to go back and just add tags. The Microsoft documentation shows how to do this; however, using what is suggested does not work. • Removing duplicates (within a given tolerance) from a Numpy array of vectors

  I have an Nx5 array containing N vectors of form 'id', 'x', 'y', 'z' and 'energy'. I need to remove duplicate points (i.e. where x, y, z all match) within a tolerance of say 0.1. Ideally I could create a function where I pass in the array, columns that need to match and a tolerance on the match. Following this thread on Scipy-user, I can remove duplicates based on a full array using record arrays, but I need to just match part of an array. Moreover this will not match within a certain tolerance. I could laboriously iterate through with a for loop in Python but is there a better Numponic way?

• App disappears from Win7's ALT-TAB list sometimes

  I've been having some trouble with one of my Delphi 2010 projects lately. It seems that sometimes, when I have a form open as a modal dialog, the app stops showing up in the ALT-TAB list until I close the dialog. It's still in the Taskbar, but not in ALT-TAB, which means I can't switch to it without using the mouse. Running under Windows 7, 64-bit. Has anyone seen this before? Any idea what causes it and how to fix it?

  Hi, I have the following JSON object which has a date field in the following format: { "AlertDate": "\/Date(1277334000000+0100)\/", "Progress": 1, "ReviewPeriod": 12 } I want to write a regular expression or a function to convert it to a javascript object so that it is in the form: { "AlertDate": "AlertDate":new Date(1277334000000), "Progress": 1, "ReviewPeriod": 12 } The above date format fails validation in the JQuery parseJSON method. I would like to convert the 1277334000000+0100 into the correct number of milliseconds to create the correct date when eval is called after validation.   Hi May I know whether it's possible to extract note onset and other musical details (e.g. pitch, note duration) form polyphonic MIDI(i.e. either multiples notes played from treble and bass voices, or chords) using the jMusic API? It has a method to extract note onset - but it returns zero each time for a given note. However extracting pitch and duration for monophonic (i.e. single note) MIDI using jMusic is possible. But when there exist chords it only captures a single note of the chord, and note onset returns zero each time. Is there a way I can resolve this? Appreciate any insight asap. Thanks in advance

  I have an ASP.NET page with a jQuery dialog that is displayed to change some data. I am setting up the jQuery dialog so that when the user clicks the OK button it calls ASP.NET's Page_ClientValidate('validationGroup') via javascript, finds all the invalid controls and changes their CSS class. So here's the scenario: the user opens the dialog, keys in some invalid data, clicks OK (receiving the validation messages), and then clicks Cancel. Now the dialog is closed, but the validation messages are still there, so that when they open the dialog again, the data goes back to the way it was initially, but the form is still in the invalid state (the validation messages are still displaying). What I need is a "reset" function of sorts to call after calling Page_ClientValidate('validationGroup'). Does this exist?

When can we say that the target concept is exactly learned in the case of the Find-S algorithm, and what is the optimal query strategy? I'd also like to know the answer w.r.t Candidate Elimination. I want to be able to call that variable from a keypress and change the variables function.
