  Hi Guys My Company is running a lots of batch jobs to process data for partners. We used to use sql server agent to execute batch process. I found it's very difficult to get batch process information like log or status when i working on sql server's agent. So I'd like to change my company's job scheduling process to another stable solution But I dind't know which solutions to choose. I tried to find as same solution as CA Autosys. My Company use window server system. We shoud consider framework or solution should be configured using solution's api because i plan to make a asp.net web application to manage our job shceduler. What kinds of job scheduler Framework or inexpensive solution do you suggest? Regards, Park PS: I think Quartz Framework has a good reputation on J2EE system. But I am not sure Quartz.NET is as good as orginal java version.

  Hi There! I have an issue with expiration date in emails. For example, I have a subscription which expires on 1st FEB 2010 and I am purchasing new subscription (renewing my role). When order is complete Ubercart CA (Condition actions) sends an email about role renewal and new expiration date ([role-expiration-short]). But the message contains wrong expiration date I've noticed that on each order email contains N-1 expiration, where N - current purchase. This is email message: [order-first-name] [order-last-name], Thanks to your order, [order-link], at [store-name] you have renewed the role, [role-name]. It is now set to expire on [role-expiration-short] <- ISSUE IS HERE. Thanks again, [store-name] [site-slogan] Any ideas? Thanks!

  What API's / SDK's / software tools are available to export contacts from popular CRM and accounting packages? What I'd like to do is offer an address book in my web application and have a button that says "Upload your contacts from X". The user could then click a few buttons and his contacts would be automagically uploaded from X. A company called Plaxo has a widget that does exactly what I am looking for, BUT: They only support a limited number of data sources (I am most interested in ACT, Salesforce, Outlook, and QuickBooks), and They only support e-mail addresses. • Custom certificate as proof of transaction

  I'm developing a site where a user conducts a given transaction and once completed, the user is issued with a 'secure certificate'. The certificate serves as proof of the transaction and the user is able to upload the certificate at a later stage, to view the details of the transaction. At the moment I'm using a custom XML document with encrypted fields. It works perfect, but I would like a standardized approach, such as an X.509 certificate. I'm no encryption expert, but from what I gather, X.509 is more geared towards SSL issued by a CA. Is it possible to create your own valid valid CRT file? As a test, I created a CRT file with the example provided on WikiPedia. However, when I open the file in Windows I get this warning: Invalid Public Key Security Object File - This file is invalid as the following: Security Certificate. Not having much luck here, so time to ask the experts. What direction should I be heading in? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I need to give users the ability to pick a business card template and then update the text with their own information. Then I need to create a PDF proof for the user to sign off on, as well as create a hi-rez pdf for print. Can anyone point me in the right direction?   I had a problem with accepting invalid SSL certificate in my iPhone program. That problem is solved now, however I came to understanding that I have very abstract idea on how exactly the whole thing is working: how web browser is verifying that received certificate is really for host it communicates to and not faked by same party in the middle? if browser talks to some 3rd party (CA?) to do certificate check? and many other questions... Would someone please recommend good source of information with in-depth enough description of how all parts click together?

This question is independent of the nature of the application, desktop, mobile or browser based. Let's assume you are not able to get region information from another source and you have to choose one language as the default one. The question does apply as well for more case including: * pt-pt and pt-br * en-us and en-gb * fr-fr and fr-CA * zh-cn, zh-tw, .... - in fact in this case I know that zh can be used as predominant language for Simplified Chinese where full code is zh-hans. • Programmatically adding a trusted cert in Java

  I use SSL to communicate between two components written in Java. I can't use a CA, so I have to self-sign everything. Unfortunately, this means that when I try to handshake, I get a SunCertPathBuilderException. I can create my own X509TrustManager that just trusts everything, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having a signed cert. I would like, when first making the connection, to prompt the user with "SSL handshake with invalid cert. Add cert to store?" or something so they could have it added for them to their certificate store, like web browsers do at sites with invalid certs. I can find plenty of examples online of adding a cert to the store through the commandline, but I can't figure out how to do it programmatically. Is there a way to do this?

  Hi all, I am trying to get started with JSON in Python, but it seems that I misunderstand something in the JSON concept. I followed the google api example, which works fine. But when I change the code to a lower level in the JSON response (as shown below, where I try to get access to the location), I get the following error message for code below: Traceback (most recent call last): File "geoCode.py", line 11, in test = json.dumps([s['location'] for s in jsonResponse['results']], indent=3) KeyError: 'location' How can I get access to lower information level in the JSON file in python? Do I have to go to a higher level and search the result string? That seems very weird to me? • C#: Farm out jobs to worker processes on a multi-processor machine

  Hi there, I have a generic check that needs to be run on ca. 1000 objects. The check takes about 3 seconds. We have a server with 4 processors (and we also have other multi-processor servers in our network) so we would like to create an exe / dll to do the checking and return the results to the "master". Does anyone know of a framework for this, or how would one go about it in C#? Specifically: * What's the best way to transfer data between the master and the worker process? * How would the master ensure that always 4 processes are running at any one time and as soon as a worker process is finished start a new one. * How to register that the worker is finished and append it's results to a list? • Will client JVM for a web service(https) throw an SSL Exception when the server is having a valid ce

  I have a web service deployed on tomcat hosted on a remote server. I have set it up such that it can be accessed only via HTTPS. For this, I generated a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and used it to get a temporary certificate from VeriSign. My web service client is on my local machine. If I try to access the service it will throw a javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:unable to find valid certification path to requested target If I install the certificate in to local Java's keystore, the issue will be resolved. My question is if I install a valid SSL certificate from a CA in to my tomcat server, will I get this client-side error even if I do not import the certificate to local key store?

• How to prevent direct access to my JSON service?

  I have a JSON web service to return home markers to be displayed on my Google Map. Essentially, http://example.com calls the web service to find out the location of all map markers to display like so: http://example.com/json/?zipcode=12345 And it returns a JSON string such as: {"address": "321 Main St, Mountain View, CA, USA", ...} So on my index.html page, I take that JSON string and place the map markers. However, what I don't want to have happen is people calling out to my JSON web service directly. I only want http://example.com/index.html to be able to call my http://example.com/json/ web service ... and not some random dude calling the /json/ directly. Quesiton: how do I prevent direct calling/access to my http://example.com/json/ web service?

• Python: Get items at depth? (set library?)

  I have a nested list something like this: PLACES = ( ('CA', 'Canada', ( ('AB', 'Alberta'), ('BC', 'British Columbia' ( ('van', 'Vancouver'), ), ... )), ('US', 'United States', ( ('AL', 'Alabama'), ('AK', 'Alaska'), ... I need to retrieve some data out of it. If depth is 0 I need to retrieve all the countries (and their codes), if depth == 1, I need to retrieve all the states/provinces, if depth == 2 I need to retrieve all the cities... and so forth. Is there some set library for doing stuff like this? Or can someone point me in the right direction? I started coding up a solution only to realize it wouldn't work for levels deeper than 1 because you have to go in and out of each list...

What is happening though is that when I move onto the language list, and I go past Germany (~50% down the list?), the hover() loses focus and closes the original menu, which closes the language menu. Any idea's what is causing the issue? Any ideas how to fix the issue? I have tried the hoverIntent() plugin as well to no avail.
