Its a Master ans Slave method. Assume DNS Servers are: ns1.customdnsserver.com [192.168.91.129] ==> Master ns2.customdnsserver.com [192.168.91.130] ==> Slave Now i will host few shared hosting websites in my own web server. Where i will link above Nameservers to my domains in shared hosting. My Question is: How do i tell root DNS servers about my own authoritative only DNS server? So that when someone queries for domain www.example.com and if the domain's website is hosted in my shared hosting i want root servers to point the query to my own DNS Server so that the www.example.com get resolved for IP address.

  • OSX Finder - Creating New Folder with Right-Click in List View

    I am aware that when using finder in List view, I can create a new folder by right-clicking on an empty row, and pressing 'New Folder'. However, when I happen to be browsing a folder with quite a lot of files (or just enough to invoke a scrollbar), there are no blank rows, and hence nowhere that I can right-click to create a new folder. This is not a big problem, I am just a whinger who likes consistency and find this frustrating. Yes, I am aware that I can press 'Shift + Cmd + N', or can simply change the Finder view. BUT, is there a way to do this within list view? Am I missing something obvious?

    A linux machine is connected to internet over two interfaces ppp0 and ppp1 using two modems. Also this machine acts as wireless access point through an interface say, eth0 with ip address 192.168.1.1 and acts as gateway for the connected devices through this network with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Now is it possible to achieve the following: When any of the connected devices through wireless AP needs internet connection linux machine has to use ppp1 interface for internet. If any of the applications on the linux machine needs internet connection linux machine should use ppp0 interface for the internet. Can this be achieved by adding rules to chains in filter/nat tables? If the kernel routing table has a default rule to route the default traffic through interface ppp0, wil kernel completely ignore ppp1 for internet? PS: new to networking and routing concepts, If the question is not clear leave a comment, will try to give more information.

    Using jQuery, when you set a blur event on a text box and set another element as draggable, when you click the draggable element, the blur event does not fire in FireFox. IE is a little better, you get the blur event but you don't get the click event on the draggable element.   • What's the point of Netgear's WNHDB3004 "3DHD WIRELESS HOME THEATER NETWORKING KIT"

    Here's a crude representation of what I've got at home: floor 2 INTERNETS ---- MODEM/ROUTER ---- MY COMPUTER | floor 1 WIFI REPEATER ---- stuff | floor 0 more stuff TELEVISION Now, as part of our sat tv subscription we can get an additional service if we connect our decoder (located by TELEVISION obviously) to the internet. What they suggest is buying a Netgear 3DHD WIRELESS HOME THEATER NETWORKING KIT holy shit isn't my bullshit-o-meter flying high right now from the general buzzwordyness of this thing. What does this thing actually do that our existing wireless-enabled routers don't do? What's the point of having a third wifi router in the same house, this time only for one television? If I do decide to plunge €99 for this, should I connect it to the wifi repeater (which does not provide AAA quality internet, at least for all gaming purposes) or to my modem/router (risking issues with low signal?).

  • After restart desktop totally black, taskbar visible, can't click items in Windows Explorer

    Situation: Windows Vista, latest updates. After restarting to complete an installation, I find myself looking at a totally black windows desktop without any icons. The start menu and taskbar, including quickstart icons, appears. Some, but not all task bar tray icons appear. The systems seems stable. When I open Windows Explorer and click "desktop" in the folder treeview, the cursor immediately jumps back to the previously selected item. No error. Same when clicking on my user's profile or my documents. When I try "save as" in, say, Notepad, nothing happens, the dialog box (which defaults to "my documents") doesn't even show. Again, no error. Nothing serious afaict in the event log. Typing something in Start Search shows "Search failed to initialize". Most programs, including Internet Explorer, Firefox etc work as expected. Anybody ever encountered such abomination?

    Hi, After recently setting up a mail server I am now adding the users that I need. As part of the tutorial I followed I created root@localhost as an account and also a bunch of aliases (postmaster@localhost, webmaster@localhost etc). What is the point of having al these localhost addresses? it seems that no one can ever mail them directly... Also I am curious as to what targets I should include on my domain (like postmaster, root, webmaster etc) and what ramifications there might be for doing so?

    I'm a newbie to AHK, learning the basics. I'm using Notepad as an example - I want to hit the Cancel key every time I close Notepad and it asks if I want to Save/Don't Save/Cancel. I've come up with the script below and it works once but then I have to reload the script to do it again. I want it to hit Cancel every time the question box comes up.   • Eclipse Pydev Ctrl-Click (Go to Definition) Doesn't Work OSX

    My Pydev set up in OS X is kind of busted. I'm working on a Django project and I find that Ctrl-Click never actually goes to the definitions of any of my objects or functions. I actually have a symlink to Django/django in my workspace so that it's easier to cross reference Django code. My guess is that something is wrong with the builder, but it doesn't throw up any errors. Does anyone have advice here? Different topic: does anyone know of a good way to use Ctrl-Shift-R (Open resource) and filter files by folder? It's not that useful in python projects where you have 20 urls.py showing up.

  • Best code structure for arcade games

    Hi, I've developed a few arcade games so far and have the following structure in almost all of them: I have 1 file which contains a class called kernel with the following functions: init() welcome_screen() menu_screen() help_Screen() play_game() end_screen() And another file, called Game, which basically calls all these functions and controls the flow of the game. Also, I have classes for different characters, whenever required. Is this a good code structure, or should I try having different files(classes) for different functions like welcome screen, playing, help screen, etc? As in, instead of including all the code for these things in 1 file, should I be having different classes for each one of them? The only problem I think it might cause is that I would need certain variables like score, characters, etc which are common to all of them, that's why I have all these functions in a Kernel class so that all these functions can use these variables.

    Hello, I've been researching for a day or two but can't find a method to take a screenshot of a specific window (possibly the only window) open at a specific time using an Apple script. Currently I have the script execute screencapture -T1 ~/Desktop/screenshot.png But what I want is really screencapture -wx -T1 ~/Desktop/screenshot.png But when I use -wx, it waits for a mouse click on the window. Are there any utilities, built in or not, that will allow me to do this? Thank you so much! (I'm sorry if this belongs on Stack Overflow, can someone move it if it does. It kind of overlaps both super user and stack overflow.) Edit: The windows alternative that I'm looking for on a Mac is the keyboard shortcut: Alt + PrntScrn

    I'm hoping to get some suggestions for possible Wireless Access point/router models which will allow us to have two separate networks. We run an internal network on 10.x.x.x IP range where we have shares and other network resources for which we would like to have our regular users access. However, we would also like to offer a separate wireless network for guests which ideally would be on 192.168.x.x and these users would not be able to see any of the resources sitting on the 10.x.x.x network. Anyone have any recommendations on single devices that might be able to get the job done? I was looking at the Linksys E4200 and it seems to support what I'm looking to do... any others?     The cursor of my mouse is moving as well on my twin view, but after a WHILE, or if I start kde with runlevels (I don't know why, but startx works better) I can't click anything. I have had replaced the mouse with another one, but it's the same problem, so it's not a hardware problem. The problem occurs both with gnome and kde. My config : PC Dell Optiplex 780 archlinux x86_64 (up to date) xf86-input-evdev 2.6.0-4 xorg-server 1.11.2-2 kernel linux-3.1.1-1-ARCH My Xorg log doesn't contains "EE" string for errors. Any clue ?

  • Working bootable CD now suddenly freezes at starting point

    I have this strange problem with a bootable CD I created that uses floppy disk 1.44MB emulation. The PC originally worked with it just fine and booted from the CD several times from the prior occasions I used it. Now for some strange reason it decides to freeze at the point where it displays the following text on the screen and does not proceed further: Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM 1. FD 1.44MB System Type-(00) The other strange thing is that if I put in a Linux bootable installation CD, it boots that without any issues. Everytime I stick this custom made bootable CD in it pulls this freezing act. Has anyone experienced this or know how to correct the problem?

    Hi, I build my new computer yesterday and I noticed, when computer is shut down, I mean the exact time its looses power from PSU, relativelly loud CLICK sound occurs. Please does anyone knows from where? I think MB, SSD, VGA, CPU nor coolers are not cousing this. I would guess maybe Samsung 1TB HDD (maybe when heads go back to LZ) or some hard safety switch or relay in PSU? Or just the MB speaker? (Yes, its actually installed).     I get this error when trying to run a program on a Windows computer: Because it's a Dutch Windows version it is in Dutch, but in English it would be something like "Procedure entry point EncodePointer could not be located in kernel32.dll". I've been looking for a solution on the net and I think it has something to do with SP's of Windows. This are the system settings: Does this mean I'm not using any Windows XP Service Pack? I'm working on this for someone else, it's an old computer, not connected to the internet. Should I connect the computer to the internet and install all Windows updates to solve the problem? No other solution?

  • Use GIS to get geographic info for a single point

    I am not quite sure where to start with this. I only just started looking into this in the past week, but hopefully someone can help point me in the right direction. The goal of my project is to be able to take a geohash, decode it to latitude and longitude, check the point against some GIS data, and find out some information about that point such as the terrain(is this a body of water? A lake? An Ocean? Is this a mountainous area? Is this a field?), altitude, or other useful things. Then simply be able to display that information as a starter. What I have gathered so far is that I need to get some free GIS data (this is for school, so I have no money!). I would like to have world data, and I found some online (http://www.webgis.com/terraindata.html) but I don't know where to go from here. I saw some tools such as PostGIS as a database. I am currently using Java for some other parts of the project, so if possible I would like to stick to Java. Can someone help me out, or point me in the right direction?

  • Links opened by left-click in IE8 take forever compared to middle-mouse button

    When I use the middle mouse button to open a link in a new tab, it works instantly. However, if I left-click the link to open it normally, IE8 freezes for about 5 seconds before the popup window opens. I'm sick of all the slowness and the glitchiness and the memory hogging, and I just want it to work as well as all the other browsers out there. Anybody else experiencing this and have any tips? Note: It's not the Java SSV helper or the Skype addon (because I have those disabled). I'm looking for some advanced solutions that I can try. (God, I hate IE8, but I'm a loyal Microsoft follower so I refuse to switch to Firefox. )

    Hi, Here is what I have. 1.XBAP application with WPF Browser control, hosted on Page1.xaml 2.XBAP in Full Trust, certificate installed in client browser 3.Once the XBAP loaded, the browser control is navigated to some third party site. 4.We are using MVVM for XAML stuff So, when a certain page is loaded, I attach click event handler to the input button with id="submit" on the html page displayed in the browser control (used the code similar to whats in this URL http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wpf/thread/a4f0e4d0-78bf-44c5-a3fe-8faf2e7a0568/). It works just fine as long as I dont make a wcf web service call in my ViewModel, before or after I attach this event hander. Idea is to invoke the click event for the html button and grab the data from the html page before calling the webservice to save data from the page. Here is the issue: When I make the wcf webservice call (sync or async, it doesnt matter) the click event doesnt happen but if I comment out the the code for wcf service call the click event of the html input of type button gets invoked.
