• Variable in one query is getting into another query in view

  I have two foreach statements. The variable from one one is somehow getting into another and i'm not sure how to fix it. The businesses are pulled from the database using the categoryPageList($id) function. Instead, it's showing the row ID of the category table. so, if i'm viewing /site/categories/6 <?=$crow->id?> will show 6 when it should be showing 10 (the row ID of the only business in that category at this time. How can I fix this?

  I am trying to package a simple maven java project (uses javax.persistence api) into a single jar using the onejar-maven-plugin. I can run the program fine in eclipse; however when execute the onejar I get the exception below. If someone could provide some insight, that would be appreciated.   I’m working on my first ASP.NET MVC project, and I really, really like MVC. I hate all of the “magic strings”, though: <div id="logindisplay"> <% Html.RenderPartial("LogOnUserControl"); %> </div> <div id="menucontainer"> <ul id="menu"> <li><%=Html.ActionLink("Find Dinner", "Index", "Dinners")%></li> <li><%=Html.ActionLink("Host Dinner", "Create", "Dinners")%></li> <li><%=Html.ActionLink("About", "About", "Home")%></li> </ul> </div> They’re prone to misspelling (causing errors that won’t be caught until runtime), there’s duplication, there’s no Intellisense, and they’re not friendly to refactoring tools.   I had started down the path of creating static classes with constants for the strings, e.g.: <li><%=Html.ActionLink("Find Dinner", DinnerControllerActions.Index, Controllers.Dinner)%></li> …but that was pretty tedious.   Then I discovered T4MVC (http://mvccontrib.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=T4MVC).   Based on the giawa/nehe tutorials, how can I render 2 images with different shaders.   I'm trying to expand my sons interest from Warcraft 3 programming into C++ to broaden his horizons to a degree. We are planning on porting a little game that he wrote. The context goes something like this. There are Ships and Missiles, for which Ships will use Missiles and interact with them A Container exists which will hold 'a list' of ships. A Container exists which will hold 'a list' of planets. • tables wrapping to next line when width 100%

  I'm encountering some weirdness with tables in css. The layout is fairly simple, a fixed-width nav bar on the left and the content on the right. When the content includes a table with a width of 100% the table ends up getting pushed down until it has room to take up the full width of the screen (instead of just the area to the right of the nav bar). If I remove the width=100% from the table's css, then it looks fine, but obviously the table doesn't grow to fill the space of the div. The problem is that i want the table to grow and shrink with the window but still stay in the bounds of its div. Thanks. • Generate Strongly Typed Observable Events for the Reactive Extensions for .NET (Rx)

  I must have tried reading through the various explanations and introductions to the new Reactive Extensions for .NET before the concepts finally started sinking in.  The article that gave me the ah-ha moment was over on SilverlightShow.net and titled Using Reactive Extensions in Silverlight.  The author did a good job comparing the "normal" way of handling events vs. the new "reactive" methods. Admittedly, I still have more to learn about the Rx Framework, but I wanted to put together a sample project so I could start playing with the new Observable and IObservable<T> constructs.  I decided to throw together a whiteboard application in Silverlight based on the Drawing with Rx example on the aforementioned article.  At the very least, I figured I would learn a thing or two about a new technology, but my real goal is to create a fun application that I can share with the kids since they love drawing and coloring so much!   I am attempting to write an XML Schema to cover a number of XML conditions which I may encounter. I have the same root element (serviceRequest) with different child elements. I was trying to use the xs:extension element to define multiple versions, but it is complaining about unexpected element orderInclusionCriteria etc. Am I going about this the right way, or is there a better way to define this? The other way I thought about this was to have a single xs:choice with all the options inside it, but this seemed somewhat inelegant. These XSD files are for use within XMLBeans if that makes any difference.   I am using the Accordion menu to filter a data table. The menu contains two filters, with multiple options under each. You can only have ONE filter selected at a time. If you click between the two options under the first filter, the style class, 'selected' is added and removed without a problem. If you click an option under the second filter though, it DOESN'T remove the 'selected' class from the first filter. Any help would be appreciated. • vertical navigation that shows hidden submenu on click using JQuery

  Hi, I am trying to make a menu that works like the one on this flash site: http://elevensix.de/ When I click "portfolio", only then to the subnavigation links reveal themselves. Right now I have only managed to get a typical vertical "reveal subnavigation on hover menu" working. What is required is that once the appropriate menu item it cicked, its submenu shows. This submenu remains revealed as the submenu items are hovered over then selected. When the submenu item is selected, the content shows, and both the menu and submenu remain visible (the selected menu and submenu item are given a distinct colour to show the navigation path). Whew. And where would the class be applied? To the ul? could I use the same class for both submenus? Am I wrong in how I am applying the display:none values for this purpose? • Cannot create Desktop shortcut

  I have a WiX project and I want to automatically create a ProgramMenu and Desktop shortcut. I've tried the following but the Desktop shortcut is not created. • simplexml help how do I parse this?

  I haven't done any xml projects, so I'm not quite sure what to do with this data... I'm using curl to make a request to salesforce, and they give me back a response that I need to parse. I want to use simplexml. But It's not giving me that, it's not really giving me anything back, just an empty simple xml object... So one website made me think I might need an XSLT to read this correctly. Or something else made me think it's because I don't have at the top. Help!
