• Dynamics CRM 4.0 Campaign Response Workflow issue

  Hi I am pretty novice when it comes to CRM so hopefully someone can help me. I am trying to create a workflow that triggers when the campaign response is set to closed and then updates a few fields within the related 'Customers' record. I would have imagined that this would have been straight forward. However, when creating my workflow it appears that the 'Customer' is not in the related entitities list and therefore I cannot set the fields I require updating. I imagine that the issue is to do with the 'Customer' attribute being similar to the 'To'/'From' attributes on an email/phone call activity, whereas I need the attribute to resemble the 'Regarding' attribute. I presume I could create an attribute to replace 'customer' and apply all the appropriate relationships, but I dont really want to do this. Is there a simple way to get around this and/or am I missing something? Cheers

• Visual Studio .NET 2003 - Ignore Specific Library for libcmt vs libcmtd

  Hi, I have a template VS .NET 2003 project, which colleagues copy and customise when developing their software. It appears the template was altered a while back to set the IgnoreSpecificLibrary property to have libcmt.lib for both release and debug builds (i.e. for both release and debug, the build should ignore libcmt.lib in the linker). Some projects based on this have since been built, with the release build pulling in libcmtd.lib (evident by looking through the project .map file) which appears to have caused some runtime issues (i.e. a dialog window being flashed up as though a breakpoint had been set). Does setting IgnoreSpecificLibrary to exclude libcmt.lib automatically make the project link against libcmtd.lib? What is weird is that building the template (with the incorrect setting) links against libcmt.lib whereas some of the customised projects (though not all) link against libcmtd.lib. Any ideas?

• How to paint fully transparent pixels/points in P2D mode?

  According to the Processing Reference, stroke(gray, alpha) allows to set the color and opacity of the stroke. With the default color mode, an alpha value of 255 denotes full opacity, while a value of 0 should correspond to complete transparency. While this works with the (default) JAVA2D renderer, I can't seem to paint fully transparent points in P2D mode. This code clearly renders a pixel at the center of the canvas, even though the alpha value is set to 0 (fully transparent): public class Transparency extends PApplet { @Override public void setup() { size(200, 200, P2D); } @Override public void draw() { stroke(0, 0); point(width / 2, height / 2); } public static void main(String[] args) { PApplet.main(new String[] { Transparency.class.getSimpleName() }); } } What's wrong here?

• Specific checkboxes checked in symfony 1.4

  Hi, I'm able to do the following for all checkboxes in a set (in an action): $this->form->getWidget('some_form_field')->setAttribute('checked', 'checked'); ... but I'm unable to set specific checkboxes to ticked on the basis of data returned from the db. I'm after something like: $this->form->getWidget('some_form_field')->setAttributes(array(....)); ... where I can refer to the specific checkboxes to be ticked somehow, or pass an array to it. There's nothing in the symfony documentation on this specifically and I've had enough of trying a dozen combinations to get it work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  Hi, I'm using an sql to replace credit card numbers with xxxx and finding that REGEX_REPLACE does not consistently replace everything. I also find that i have to put a space in front of the first X as it appears to move 1 char to the left.

  Let's say I have managed to hide the draftsfolder in outlook2003. I am wondering how I would be able to retreive it back without the use of 3rd party programs. (for instance as described in this article). I have the following code in outlook 2007. • Switching DataSources in ReportViewer in WinForms

  I have created a winform for the users to view view the many reports I am creating for them. I have a drop down list with the report name which triggers the appropriate fields to display the parameters. Once those are filled, they press Submit and the report appears. This works the first time they hit the screen. They can change the parameters and the ReportViewer works fine. Change to a different report, and the I get the following ReportViewer error: An error occurred during local report processing. An error has occurred during the report processing. A data source instance has not been supplied for the data source "CgTempData_BusMaintenance". As far as the process I use: I set reportName (string) the physical RDLC name. I set the dataSource (string) as the DataSource Name I fill a generic DataTable with the data for the report to run from. Make the ReportViewer visible Set the LocalReport.ReportPath = "Reports\\" = reportName; Clear the LocalReport.DataSources.Clear() Add the new LocalReport.DataSources.Add(new ReportDataSource(dataSource, dt)); RefreshReport() on the ReportViewer. • How to prevent a javascript/backbone.js cloned model from sharing attributes

  I'm working with backbone.js models, so I don't know if my question is particular to the way backbone handles cloning or if it applies to javascript in general. Basically, I need to clone a model which has an attribute property assigned an object. The problem is that when I update the parent or clone's attribute, the other model is also updated. Here is a quick example: var A = Backbone.Model.extend({}); var a = new A({'test': {'some': 'crap'}}); var b = a.clone(); a.get('test')['some'] = 'thing'; // I could also use a.set() to set the attribute with the same result console.log(JSON.stringify(a)) console.log(JSON.stringify(b)) which logs the following: {"test":{"some":"thing"}} {"test":{"some":"thing"}} I would prefer to clone a such that b won't be referencing any of its attributes. • Reordering items in mobilesafari

  After searching around i still have no clue about the best practice to reorder a set of items in mobile safari. I'm currently using, in the desktop version of my webapplication, jQuery sortable function applied to a set of table rows, with an ajax callback to update items positioning. What would be the best way of doing this in mobile safari through jquery or plain javascript? The table is longer then the screen, so also the normal scrolling should be present. Other approaches that are usable and do not make use of drag and dropping are also welcome. Thanks.

  hey all, when i run my flash file (test it) in the output panel i get the following error TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties. i read some where, that this was caused because one of the variables is set to null. after looking at my code i found out that the following line was causing this output arrSelectedIndex[i] = -1; this is later on used as the selected index in a group of radio buttons. my question is, would having the selected index set to -1 be an issue ? thanks

  Okay i'm new to asp mvc2 and i'm experiencing some problems with the htmlhelper called Html.dropdownlistfor(); I want to present the user a list of days in the week. And i want the selected item to be bound to my model. On the first visit, But then when i'm doing a [HttpPost] Which looks like the following: [HttpPost] public ActionResult Registreer(EventRegistreerViewModel model) { // I removed some unrelated code here // The code below executes when modelstate.isvalid == false SelectList _list = new SelectList(Days.getDayList(), "DayShortName", "DayName"); ViewData["days"] = _list; return View(model); } Then i will have the following exception thrown: The ViewData item that has the key 'ChosenDay' is of type 'System.String' but must be of type 'IEnumerable<SelectListItem>'. This errors gets thrown at the line in my view where i display the dropdown list. I really have no idea how to solve this and tried several solutions i found online. but none of them really worked.   Hi, I'm trying to use variable in variable in conjunction with delayed expansion but still no luck. SETLOCAL EnableDelayedExpansion SET ERROR_COMMAND=exit /B ^!ERRORLEVEL^! This is my last try. I want to setup an ERROR_COMMAND to be called when one of the steps in batch file crashes. The command is supposed to be: IF ERRORLEVEL 1 !ERROR_COMMAND! or IF ERRORLEVEL 1 %ERROR_COMMAND% The thing is, I'm not able to find out, how to SET properly the ERROR_COMMAND variable, so that ERRORLEVEL is not evaluated at the time of assignment, but at the time of evaluating the variable Of course I can copy&paste the code all over the batch file, but using the variable just seems a bit prettier...   Tehnologies: - CruiseControlNet - Asp.net MVC 2 RTM - enabled view compilation The problem is UrlParameter.Optional setting. I can't seem to make it work when I use this setting inside a view. When I compile inside Visual Studio, everything works fine, but when CCNet uses MSBuild to compile it it fails with following error: errorCS0103: The name 'UrlParameter' does not exist in the current context pointing to the line inside my view where this parameter is set on: Html.RenderAction(...) that sets certain route parameter(s) to optional. I tried adding <%@ Assembly name="System.Web.Mvc" %> at the top of my view, but it didn't work either. It works of course when I disable view compilation, but that's not really an option. And I also don't want to set my optional parameters to string.Empty. Anyone has any hint on this?

What i would like to do is : set the geocoder as a property of my controller create the geocoder in the init method call the geocoder in the method i want to test replace the geocoder with a mock in my test The problem is that the MKReverseGeocoder coordinate property is read only, i can only set it in the constructor method : [[MKReverseGeocoder alloc] initWithCoordinate:coord] And of course the coordinates are only available in the method i want to test..   I've messed with Access a little bit in the past, had one class on OO theory, and one class on console c++ apps. Now, as a hobby project, I'm undertaking to write an actual app, which will be a database app using System.Data.SQLite and C#. I have the db's table structure planned. I have System.Data.SQLite installed and connected to VS Pro. I entered my tables and columns in VS, but that's where I'm stuck. I really don't know how to finish the db set up so I can start creating queries and testing the db structure. Can someone give me guidance to online resources that will help me learn how to get the db properly set up so I can proceed with testing it? I'm hoping for online resources specific to beginners using C# and System.Data.SQLite, but I'll use the closest I can get. Thanks.

• Update/Increment a single column on multiple rows at once

  I'm trying to add rows to a column, keeping the order of the newest column set to one, and all other rows counting up from there. In this case, I add a new row with order=0, then use this query to update all the rows by one. "UPDATE favorits SET order = order+1" However, what happens is that all the rows are updated to the same value. I get a stack of favorites, all with order 6 for example, when it should be one with 1, the next with 2 and so on. How do I update these rows in a way that orders them the way they should be? • Nullable Date column merge problem

  I am using JPA with openjpa implementation beneath, on a Geronimo application server. I am also using MySQL database. I have a problem with updating object with nullable Date property. When I'm trying to merge entity with Date property set to null, no sql update script is generated (or when other fields are modified, sql update script is generated, but date field is ommited from it). If date field is set to some other not null value, update script is properly generated. Did anyone have problem like that?

• Can everything be done programmatically in WCF or are configuration files for certain features?

  I have a strong preference for working in code, leverage IntelliSense and opening up all of the power of the C# language to work with WCF but I want to make sure that I'm not moving in a direction that ultimately will limit the WCF feature set I can access. My experience is so limited with WCF that I don't understand the benefits of using the configuration files, especially if you can do everything in code (?). Note: I'm using .NET 3.5. Can you do 'everything' with WCF programmatically or are configuration files required for the full WCF feature set?
