    If I have a file that contains a complete path for a file, is there a way to highlight the filename (using visual mode) and open the file? (preferably in a split screen) As I think about it, here is what I would like: if the file name contains a / character, assume it is a full path (IE the 'current directory' is root). Otherwise, use the current folder (IE default behavior) Is this possible?

Basic scheme is: There will be client software on each user PC which will extract domain information on http requests and decide if it's already available on server or not.     Hi, I am using Visual C++, and I am trying to include a file that uses BYTE (as well as DOUBLE, LPCONTEXT...) , which by default is not a defined type. If I include windows.h, it works fine, but windows.h also defines GetClassName wich I don't need. I am looking for an alternative to windows.h include, that would work with VC++ and would define most of the types like BYTE, DOUBLE ... Thanks

  • boolean VB expression returning false for integer 1

    This is probably a really basic (no pun intended) question, but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Why does the result of func1 return False and func2 returns True? On every other test I have done, integer 1 is converted to boolean true and 0 to false. Works ok if I just set rtnValue to 1 or 0. Public Function func1() As Boolean Dim rtnValue As Integer = 0 Return rtnValue = 1 End Function Public Function func2() As Boolean Dim rtnValue As Integer = 0 Return rtnValue = 0 End Function

  • MVC can't find my Areas page

    I created an Area in my application named Admin. It's pretty basic, looks like this: Areas Admin Controllers CompaniesController.cs Models Views Companies Index.aspx AdminAreaRegistration.cs When I try to view my Index page by going to /Admin/Companies, I get a "The resource cannot be found" message. I find it weird that I don't get any sort of error message. I'm not sure what's going on here, has anyone come across this?

    I want to do a performance measurement of my application and would like to be able to configure the stats for specific module like (enable for specific module and disable for some) and I want to measure things like memory usage, threads, average band width etc.. Can any one suggest something please, I am new to this. I think Visual VM is good but it doesnot support configuring for different modules. Does Perf4j or Admin4j work here? any one has used these before?

    I have problem using IIS 7 and SQL Server 2008. When I trying to show my website using IIS as webserver I get the message "[SqlException (0x80131904): Login failed for user..." When I using the webserver included in Visual Studio 2010 to show same website there is no problem to access the database. Why is it working with VS2010 webserver but not with IIS?
