  • WPF ListView Cannot Trigger Selection Changed when only one row

    I have a listview which has its datasource changed after update of a search textbox. When I enter search criteria that only returns one row, I am unable to trigger the OnSelectionChanged event The listbox works as expected at any other time. I have tried changing SelectedItem and SelectedIndex in Code, Clicking aimlessly on the ListView both on and off the row and are at the brink of insanity. Does anyone know of a solution so that I am able to change the selected item!! Help Please

When I create the pdf document from a url - the images in the pdf document seems to be 256 colors. Does anyone know how I can set ABCpdf to create full color images. If I spesify the image url - the image gets created at full color - but then I cannot crab a page in one go

    I'm using full text search to pull rows. I order the rows based on score (ORDER BY SCORE) , then of the top 20 rows (LIMIT 20), I want to rand (RAND) the result set. So for any specific search term, I want to randomly show 5 of the top 20 results. My workaround is code based- where I put the top 20 into an array then randomly select 5. Is there sql way to do this?

    i'm trying to figure out how to layout a simple dialog in WPF using the proper dialog units (DLUs). i spent about two hours dimensioning this sample dialog box from Windows Vista with the various dlu measurements. Can someone please give the corresponding XAML markup that generates this dialog box? (Image Link) Now admittedly i know almost nothing about WPF XAML. Every time i start, i get stymied because i cannot figure out how to place any control. It seems that everything in WPF must be contained on a panel of some kind. There's StackPanels, FlowPanels, DockPanel, Grid, etc. If you don't have one of these then it won't compile.   • Can't interact with children of an itemRenderer in Flex 4 Gumbo

    I thought this would be pretty easy but I'm running into all sorts of problems with this. I have an ItemRenderer with a an image and two labels. I want to assign separate mouse events to the image and two labels. It seems like the item renderer is treated like a single interactive piece and I haven't found a way to override that. I couldn't even disable the default rollover effect so I had to style the rollOverColor to match my background.     I have a database full of text fields that look like this: (paragraph of normal text) image:blog/clownboy.jpg (another paragraph) I'm trying to write a view helper for Rails that will take one of these big blocks of text, find bits like "image:blog/clownboy.jpg" and replace them with the corresponding <img src="blog/clownboy.jpg"> (without disturbing the surrounding whitespace) before outputting it to the user. I've been trying for an hour or so now, but I'm new to Ruby and the regular expressions are still a bit beyond me.

    Hi, I'm trying to write my own abstraction over the MessageBoxImage enumeration, and see that MessageBoxImage is defined as: namespace System.Windows { public enum MessageBoxImage { None = 0, Error = 16, Hand = 16, Stop = 16, Question = 32, Exclamation = 48, Warning = 48, Asterisk = 64, Information = 64, } } How does the Show method determine whether to display an Error image or a Hand image? How would I write a method which takes a MessageBoxImage type, and return a CustomMessageBoxImage type which maps to the MessageBoxImage type, as I can't include both MessageBoxImage.Error and MessageBoxImage.Hand in the same switch statement?

  • jQuery Ajax (beforeSend and complete) working properly on FireFox but not on IE8 and Chrome

    I am using jQuery ajax version 1.4.1 in my MVC application (though the issue I am discussing was same with the old jQuery version 3.2.1) as well, to check during customer registration if the username is already registered. As the user clicks on the "Check Availibility" button, I am showing a busy image in place of the check button (actually hiding the check button and showing the image) while checking the availibility on the server and then displaying a message. It is a Sync call (async: false) and I used beforeSend: and complete: to show and hide the busy image and the check button. This thing is working well on Firefox but in IE 8 and Chrome, neither the busy image appear nor the check button hides rather the check button remained pressed as the whole thing has hanged. The available and not available messages appear correctly though.
