• PHP Image Link in FUnction 404's

  Hello, I have a valid link that goes to a picture located on my web server. It is a simple jpg image, I can copy and paste this link into my web browser and it loads fine. The issue comes in when I try to call a few php functions on the image... such as getimagesize or fopen... they both return 404 errors even though the image is there. Does anyone know that could be causing this? Thank you for your time.

  These few lines of code are giving me a "java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException" exception, could someone please take a look and point out why (the exception is caused in the second arraycopy() call): byte [] newContentBytes = EntityUtils.toByteArray((serverResponse.getEntity())); newContent = new String(newContentBytes); System.out.println( newContent); byte [] headerBytes = headers.getBytes(); byte[] res = new byte[newContentBytes.length + headerBytes.length]; //headerBytes. • EF4 CTP5 Code First approach ignores Table attributes

  I'm using EF4 CTP5 code first approach but am having trouble getting it to work. I have a class called "Company" and a database table called "CompanyTable". I want to map the Company class to the CompanyTable table, so have code like this: [Table(Name = "CompanyTable")] public class Company { [Key] [Column(Name = "CompanyIdNumber", DbType = "int")] public int CompanyNumber { get; set; } [Column(Name = "CompanyName", DbType = "varchar")] public string CompanyName { get; set; } } I then call it like so: var db = new Users(); var companies = (from c in db.Companies select c).ToList(); However it errors out: Invalid object name 'dbo.Companies'. It's obviously not respecting the Table attribute on the class, even though it says here that Table attribute is supported. Also it's pluralizing the name it's searching for (Companies instead of Company.) How do I map the class to the table name?

  I am using asp.net 3.5 with C#. I need to do a database lookup when a user enters ProductID in txtProductID. I guess doing javascript is out of the question since this will have to be server side call. • Handling log-in / log-out via Objective-c

  Having a real problem with this one...Tried using cookies to store variables, etc. but no luck. Writing an iPhone app where the User has to log in. There is an HTTPS call to get the person's userid, which is used practically everywhere else in the app, so that either has to be stored in a global variable or a cookie (for sending messages to other users, etc.) I tried the cookie route, but am having great difficulty storing (and retriving) a user ID in a cookie. The User should be able to then close out of the app and then reboot it and have the app retain their User ID as well, so I'm not sure global variables are necessarily the solution to this. Are there any best practices or suggestions?

• Using PHP variables inside SQL statements?

  For some reason I can't pass a var inside a mysql statement. I have a function that can be used for multiple tables. So instead of repeating the code I want to change the table that is selected from like so, function show_all_records($table_name) { mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $table_name"); etc, etc... } And to call the function I use show_all_records("some_table") or show_all_records("some_other_table") depending on which table I want to select from at the moment. But it's not working, is this because variables can't be passed through mysql statements?

  I am getting started with the ADO.NET Entity Framework 4.0. I have created an EDM and data store for the app, and it successfully retrieves entities. The application holds the EDM's ObjectContext as a member-level variable, which it uses to call ObjectContext.SaveChanges(). So far, so good. I am going to refactor to repositories later. Right now, my question is a bit more basic: When I am finished with the EDM, what do I need to do to release it? Is it as simple as calling Dispose() on the ObjectContext? Thanks for your help.

  I am a new bee to ajax world. I am working on a site which uses jquery and codeigniter which processes big files like 2GB. It basically parses file and stores some extracted data from it, it uses ajax to show how far the files have been processed etc. Now I want to change the way we process files. I want to first store the file on server side and then start the processing. I evaluated upload class of codeigniter but looks like I cannot use it for this purpose as this class works with field_name and I could not find a way to make an ajax call to the upload class. • Constraining window position to desktop working area

  I want to allow a user to drag my Win32 window around only inside the working area of the desktop. In other words, they shouldn't be able to have any part of the window extend outside the monitor(s) nor should the window overlap the taskbar. I'd like to do it in a way that does cause any stuttering. Handling WM_MOVE messages and calling MoveWindow() to reposition the window if it goes off works, but I don't like the flickering effect that's caused by MoveWindow(). I also tried handling WM_MOVING which prevents the need to call MoveWindow() by altering the destination rectangle before the move actually happens. This resolves the flickering problem, but another issue I run into is that the cursor some times gets aways from the window when a drag occurs allowing the user to drag the window around while the cursor is not even inside the window. How do I constrain my window without running into these issues?

  Hi all My Delphi app has created a squence called frame_001.png to frame_100.png. I need that to be compiled into a movie clip. I think perhaps the easiest is to call ffmpeg from the command line, according to their documentation: For creating a video from many images: ffmpeg -f image2 -i foo-%03d.jpeg -r 12 -s WxH foo.avi The syntax foo-%03d.jpeg specifies to use a decimal number composed of three digits padded with zeroes to express the sequence number. It is the same syntax supported by the C printf function, but only formats accepting a normal integer are suitable. My command line is now: ffmpeg.exe -f image2 -i c:\temp\wentelreader\frame_%05d.jpg -r 12 foo.avi But then I get the error: [image2 @ 0x133a7d0]Could not find codec parameters (Video: mjpeg) c:\temp\wentelreader\Frame_C:\VID2EVA\Tools\Mencoder\wentel.bat5d.jpg: could not find codec parameters What am I doing wrong? Alternatively can this be done easily with Delphi?

  I'm building an app with a build target of 1.5 . I have a variable, WebView browser, that is calling loadUrl to load a static HTML page from my assets folder. In that HTML page, the following JavaScript is defined: var supportsTouch = ('createTouch' in document); ... var w = $('wrapper'); w[supportsTouch ? 'touchmove' : 'onmousemove'] = move; w[supportsTouch ? 'touchend' : 'onmouseup'] = function(event){ dragging = false; }; where move is another function that handles the dragging. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work. I cannot figure out a concise list of which touch events are available to Android--is it ontouchmove, or touchmove? Am I supposed to set up an onTouchEvent call back in my Java code, which then launches the JavaScript function?

• wxWidgets errors occur after upgrading gDEBugger

  all. Today I upgraded my gDEBugger (though I don't think it involves gDEBugger) to the latest version but problem occurs. When I tried to open gDEBugger, an alert window named "wxWidgets Debug Alert" pop-up, reporting that "....\src\common\xpmdecod.cpp(822):assert "i==colors_cnt" failed in wxXPMDecoder::ReadData(). Call stack: [00]wxConsole....balabala....", like follows. All these words seem just like warnings and didn't affect the following work, however I am wondering why this problem occurs? What's the root cause? I am not familiar with wxWidgets and hopes those guru on it can help me resolve it.

• How do I pass a reference type to Control.Invoke / display a form centered on the main form

  I'm on a thread other than the UI thread and need to display a modal form that's centered on the application's main form. What I usually do is use the width and height of the main form and the modal form to calculate the location, then use the PointToScreen method of the main form to get the location of the modal form. Since I'm on another thread I need to use Control.Invoke to call this method. I just can't figure out how to pass a parameter of type Point to Control.Invoke (params object[]). Value types and String works fine. Or, if someone can find a better way to display a form centered on the main form regardless of thread, that would be great. MessageBox seems to be able to do this (although not modally).

  I have a page with the following two divs: <div id="searchResults"> </div> <div class="postSearchOptions" style="display: none;"> </div> Is there any way that I can make the "postSearchOptions" div appear when the "searchResults" div is updated by an AJAX call? I don't control the AJAX calls and I want to detect any change in the "searchResults" div. I tried writing the following JQuery code, but then realized that it requires Jquery 1.4 and I only have 1.3: $("#searchResults").live("change", function() { $(".postSearchOptions").css("display", "inline"); }); Is there any way to catch the event of the searchResults div changing using either standard JavaScript or Jquery 1.3?   Hi all, I am trying to get started with JSON in Python, but it seems that I misunderstand something in the JSON concept. I followed the google api example, which works fine. • Win32 select/poll/eof/ANYTHING!?!?!

  Using the standard Win32 file I/O API's (CreateFile/ReadFile/etc), I'm trying to wait for a file to become readable, or for an exception to occur on the file. If Windows had any decent POSIX support, I could just do: select(file_count, files_waiting_for_read, NULL, files_waiting_for_excpt, NULL, NULL); And select will return when there's anything interesting on some of the files. Windows doesn't support select or poll. Fine. I figured I could take the file and do something like: while(eof(file_descriptor)) { Sleep(100); } The above loop would exit when more data is available to be read. But nope, Windows doesn't have an equivalent of eof() either! I could possibly call ReadFile() on the file, and determine if it's at the eof that way. But, then I'd have to handle the reading at that point in time -- I'm hoping to simply be able to figure out that a file is readable, without actually reading it. What are my options?

However the $csvdata variable contains all the data. I need to be able to take this variable and for each line split each column of data into a seperate variable.
