  • Android WebView seems to ignore "viewport" information on web pages

    I have a website that is using the viewport META tag to tell mobile browsers how to display content ( ). Viewing the page in the Android browser looks correct (and iPhone, etc). When I load the page into a WebView component in an android Application, the WebView ignores the "VIEWPORT" tag, and renders the page at "full" resolution, which is zoomed-in in this case.

  • .htaccess and url

    Is it possible somehow using mod_rewrite change the url from http://www.mywebsite.com/company/123/reviews to http://www.mywebsite.com/company-123/reivews? It's not a redirect. The problem is that the real path is the first one and I need my browser to display the second path. So when the user goes to company-123/reviews the content of the page is displayed from company/123/reviews. Thank you.

    I'm trying to add nodes to my drupal site, from a campaignsite using AJAX request. I have set up a menu_callback item in my hook_menu, that checks if any $_POSTs are coming in, and it works if i make a form that has the action='http://mysite.com/menucallback/url', but i get nothing in response if i make the same request with ajax. I have access arguments set to 'access content'. If anyone knows what might be the problem, that would be very helpful. Thank you. /Anders

    I'm working on a website that has a lot of transparency involved, and I thought I would try to build it entirely in RGBA and then do fallbacks for IE. I need a "facebox" style border effect, where the outer border is rounded and is less opaque than the background of the box it surrounds. The last example from http://24ways.org/2009/working-with-rgba-colour seems to suggest that it's possible, but I can't seem to get it to work. Thus, when both the background and the border are semi-transparent, the border will ALWAYS be more opaque than the background of the element. This is exactly the opposite of what I am trying to achieve, but it seems like it should be possible based on the examples I've seen. I should also add that I can't use another element inside the container, because I'm also going to use a border-radius on the container to get rounded corners, and webkit squares the corners of the child elements if they have a background assigned, which would essentially mean a rounded outer border with square contents.     I'm doing my first steps in MacRuby. Does anyone know how I can add a custom Toolbar to my Cocoa/MacRuby application, which will accept "regular" items for e.g. switching the view (see http://www.stevestreeting.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/SelectableToolbarDemo001.png). I've read some tutorials and I guess I have to create a custom delegate for the Toolbar and then connect it via the Outlets window, but how does the myCustomDelegate.rb have to look like?     I need to create a reusable UI component that accepts a number of parameters (e.g. an image URL and some label text), similar to how JSP tags can accept parameters. The Pivot docs for the "wtkx:include" tag say: The tag allows a WTKX file to embed content defined in an external WTKX file as if it was defined in the source file itself. This is useful for ... defining reusable content templates I was hoping that I could define my component in a WTKX file using standard Pivot components (e.g. a TextInput) and pass it one or more parameters; for example my reusable template called "row.wtkx" might contain a row with an image and a text field, like this (where the ${xxx} bits are the parameters): <TablePane.Row xmlns="org.apache.pivot.wtk"> <ImageView image="@images/${image_url}" /> <TextInput text="${title}" /> </TablePane.Row> I could then reuse this component within a TablePane as follows: <rows> <TablePane.Row> <Label text="Painting"/> <Label text="Title"/> </TablePane.Row> <wtkx:include src="row.wtkx" image_url="mona_lisa.jpg" title="Mona Lisa"/> <wtkx:include src="row.wtkx" image_url="pearl_earring.jpg" title="Girl with a Pearl Earring"/> <wtkx:include src="row.wtkx" image_url="melting_clocks.jpg" title="Melting Clocks"/> </rows> I've made up the ${...} syntax myself just to show what I'm trying to do.
