  Hi, in this article about boost spirit semantic actions it is mentioned that There are actually 2 more arguments being passed: the parser context and a reference to a boolean ‘hit’ parameter. The parser context is meaningful only if the semantic action is attached somewhere to the right hand side of a rule. We will see more information about this shortly. The boolean value can be set to false inside the semantic action invalidates the match in retrospective, making the parser fail. All fine, but i've been trying to find an example passing a function object as semantic action that uses the other parameters (parser context and hit boolean) but i haven't found any. I would love to see an example using regular functions or function objects, as i barely can grok the phoenix voodoo

  I am attempting to use livequery. I unfortunately am stuck using jquery 1.2.6. This is my code: $(document).ready(function() { $('a.sort').livequery('click', function(event) { alert('hello'); }); }); If I click ANYWHERE in the document, I get the alert 'hello'. What exactly is wrong there? Is it some bug with jQ1.2.6 and livequery 1.1.1? This same question was asked here but the question wasn't clear, and the answer didn't help.

  I'm trying to get a jsonp callback working using jquery within a greasemonkey script. Here's my jquery: $.ajax({ url: "http://mydomain.com/MyWebService?callback=?", data: { authkey: "temphash" }, type: "get", dataType: "json", cache: false, success: function(data) { console.log(data); } }); in my webservice (asp.net) I'm returning the response with a content type of application/javascript. The response the server is actually sending back is: jsonp1276109314602({"message":"I'm getting tired of this not working"}) The jsonp1276109314602 method name is being randomly generated by jquery, and I'm grabbing it with Request.QueryString["callback"] However my success function is never called and the firebug console gives me an error saying jsonp1276109314602 is not defined. What am I doing wrong?

• ASP.NET MVC 2 JQuery POST not displaying the model state errors

  Hello, I have been using asp.net mvc for a bit (but I'm still a beginer). I want to have the ability to update two views as a result of a jquery postback. Basically I have a list and a details view. The details view is presented using a jquery popup (using jquery-UI popup). I only want to update the list if the details save is successful (i.e. there are no validation errors on the details view). However, if there are any validation errros in the details view, I want to update the details view so that the user sees the validation errors. so I thought in my controller, I return a JsonResult instead of a View. [HttpPost] public ActionResult SavePersonInfo(Person p) { if(ModelState.Valid) { return View("PersonList"); } return Json({Error = true, View = PartialView("PersonDetails", p)}); } As you can see if there are no errors I return the person list view, but if there are any validation errors, I have return the details view. The reason that I'm returning a JsonResult is I need to tell my view there is an error so that the view (jquery) knows which section to update (as in whether to update the person list 'div' or the popup dialog 'div'). Could someone tell me why I'm not seeing the validation errors? although I'm using a JSonResult, I do use the right property which is a valid view when I render the 'dvDetails'. Am I doing something that I'm not suppose to in asp.net mvc? Btw I'm using asp.net mvc2 RC with Visual Studio 2010 RC. Thank you.

  I'm working on adding a todo list to a project system and would like to have the todo creation trigger a async postback to update the database. I'd really like to host this in a usercontrol so I can drop the todo list onto a project page, task page or stand alone todo list page. Here's what I have. User Control "TodoList.ascx" which lives in the Controls directory. The script that sits at the top of the UserControl. • [AS3/C#] Byte encryption ( DES-CBC zero pad )

  Hi there, Currently writing my own AMF TcpSocketServer. Everything works good so far i can send and recieve objects and i use some serialization/deserialization code. Now i started working on the encryption code and i am not so familiar with this stuff. I work with bytes , is DES-CBC a good way to encrypt this stuff? Or are there other more performant/secure ways to send my data? Note that performance is a must :). When i call: ReadAmf3Object with the decrypter specified i get an: InvalidOperationException thrown by my ReadAmf3Object function when i read out the first byte the Amf3TypeCode isn't specified ( they range from 0 to 16 i believe (Bool, String, Int, DateTime, etc) ). I got Typecodes varying from 97 to 254? Anyone knows whats going wrong? I think it has something to do with the encryption part. Since the deserializer works fine w/o the encryption. I am using the right padding/mode/key? I used: http://code.google.com/p/as3crypto/ as as3 encryption/decryption library. • How to recursively display folders and sub folders with specific file types only using PHP5 Recursiv

  Hi I am trying to get RecursiveDirectoryIterator class using a extension on the FilterIterator to work but for some reason it is iterating on the root directory only. my code is this. class fileTypeFilter extends FilterIterator { public function __construct($path) { parent::__construct(new RecursiveDirectoryIterator($path)); } public function accept() { $file = $this->getInnerIterator()->current(); return preg_match('/\.php/i', $file->getFilename()); } } $it = new RecursiveDirectoryIterator('./'); $it = new fileTypeFilter($it); foreach ($it as $file) { echo $file; } my directory structure is something like this. -Dir1 --file1.php --file2.php -Dir2 --file1.php etc etc But as I said before the class is not recursively iterating over the entire directory structure and is only looking at the root. Question is, how do use a basic RescursiveDirectoryIterator to display folders and then run the FilterIterator to only show the php files in those directorys? Cheers

• Checkbox onclick not firing

  Hey Guys - I'm at my wit's end with this. Can anyone see anything wrong with this line? The function won't fire by clicking on the checkbox for some reason, but the calling function works fine (if I copy the exact "onclick" attribute over to the label for the checkbox, it works fine). <input type="checkbox" name="match_35_0" id="match_35_0d" value="d0" onclick="checkSwap(document.page_form.match_35_0d, document.page_form.match_35_0)"></input> If anyone can see why on earth this wouldn't be working, I would really appreciate it.   i am trying to get date from my implementation of jquery date picker, add it to a string and display the resulting image in my div. Something however is just not working. Can anyone check out the code and have a look at it?   Hi all, I'm using the function preg_replace but I cannot figure out how to make it work, the function just doesn't seem to work for me. What I'm trying to do is to convert a string into a link if any word contains the % (percentage) character. For instance if I have the string "go to %mysite", I'd like to convert the mysite word into a link.   Let's say I'm developing an iPhone app that is a catalogue of cars. The user will choose a car from a list, and I will present a detail view for the car, which will describe things like top speed. The detail view will essentially be a UIWebView that is loading an existing HTML file. Different users will live in different parts of the world, so they will like to see the top speed for the car in whatever units are appropriate for their locale. Let's say there are two such units: SI (km/h) and conventional (mph). Let's also say the user will be able to change the display units by hitting a button on the screen; when that happens, the detail screen should switch to show the relevant units. So far, here's what I've done to try and solve this. The first time the button is hit, the UIWebView doesn't change. The second time it's hit, it looks like the conventional style sheet is loaded. The third time, it switches to the SI style sheet; the fourth time, back to the conventional, and so on. So, basically, only that first button press doesn't seem to do anything. Here's the second problem. I'm not sure how to switch to the correct style sheet upon initial load of the UIWebView. I tried this: - (void)webViewDidFinishLoad:(UIWebView *)webView { NSString* command = [[NSString alloc] initWithString:@"switchToSiStyleSheet();"]; [self.webView stringByEvaluatingJavaScriptFromString:command]; [command release]; } But, like the first button hit, it doesn't seem to do anything. • Facebook FQL Question

  I'm trying to use the Facebook Javascript API to run FQL queries, and it works fine if I try and get users by username or uid, but doesn't work when I'm searching by name. function get_username() { var name = prompt("Enter name: ") FB.api( { method: 'fql.query', query: 'SELECT username FROM user WHERE name in "'+name+'"' }, function(response) { var x = response[0].username alert('Username is ' + x); } ); } I realize that this will probably return multiple users, but I can't figure out how to tell if it's returning multiple users or no users at all, it seems to freeze after trying to get response[0].username. I'm probably making a beginner mistake but any ideas?

  I'm using SQL Server 2005, with a case sensitive database.. In a search function, I need to create a Linq To Entities (L2E) query with a "where" clause that compare several strings with the data in the database with these rules : The comparison is a "Contains" mode, not strict compare : easy as the string's Contains() method is allowed in L2E The comparison must be case insensitive : I use ToLower() on both elements to perform an insensitive comparison. All of this performs really well but I ran into the following Exception : "Argument data type ntext is invalid for argument 1 of lower function" on one of my fields. It seems that the field is a NText field and I can't perform a ToLower() on that. What could I do to be able to perform a case insensitive Contains() on that NText field ?

• jquery slide down image on page load

  Hi I'm not experienced with jquery (or java script really), but trying to make an image (img id=mike ...) slide in when a page loads. After looking through the jquery docs and trying Google queries, I have so far come up with this $(document).ready(function() { $("#mike").load(function () { $(this).show("slide", { direction: "up" }, 2000); }); }); And applied the CSS display:hidden so it remains hidden until I want it to slide in on page load. This doesn't seem to work unless I reload the page though. Hoping someone could help me out with this please :)

• facebook oauth dialog doesn´t start

  Hi i got the following problem: I want the user to authenticate my app, so i want to show the authorisation dialog. To do this, i tried the api function FB.api("/dialog/oauth", "get", {client_id: APP_ID, redirect_uri: URI}, function(response){ console.log(response); }); But i get this error: code: 2500 message: "Unknown path components: /oauth" type: "OAuthException" But why? The FB.api call should be the same like http://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?client_id=<app-id>&redirect_uri=<uri> If i put this url in the browser directly, the dialog is shown. ('window.location' also doesn´t work because of x-frame-options)

• WebKit "Refused to set unsafe header "content-length"

  I am trying to implement simple xhr abstraction, and am getting this warning when trying to set the headers for a POST. I think it might have something to do with setting the headers in a separate js file, because when i set them in the <script> tag in the .html file, it worked fine. The POST request is working fine, but I get this warning, and am curious why. I get this warning for both content-length and connection headers, but only in WebKit browsers (Chrome 5 beta and Safari 4). In Firefox, I don't get any warnings, the Content-Length header is set to the correct value, but the Connection is set to keep-alive instead of close, which makes me think that it is also ignoring my setRequestHeader calls and generating it's own. I have not tried this code in IE.
