• ASP.net Usercontrol caching viewstate across users?

  I have a usercontrol with asp:textbox controls on it that also performs postbacks. If two users, who are both identified by a different session variable, postback the page within the same second, one user will see the other user's viewstate values in the text boxes. I have validated that this happens by setting a textbox, a session variable, and a cookie to the same value (the same value that identifies the user) and writing to the log when all three don't match. The text box's value is the one that is logged as the other user's value. ASP.net 3.5, IIS 6 Has anyone experienced this issue.

  Hi all, i've a strange problem with maven and android I've 3 maven project and 2 normal java maven project divided in this manner : normal project : model project ... packaged as jar ... contains java Pojo Bean and Interface. Dao Project ... packaged as jar ... contains Db Logic - Depend on model Project Android Application Maven project ContentProvider ... packaged as apk ... contains ContentProviders only. Depends on Dao Project Editors ... packaged as apk ... contains only Editor, Depends on Dao project MainApp ... packaged as apk ... contains MyApp, Depends on DAO ... The Problem is that if i modify DAO Project , Then do a maven clean and maven install of all apk project, then run as Android Application within Eclipse, i don't see updated app on my Emulator. Nicely if i shut down my ubuntu workstation and restart it i can see The updated app on my Emulator. Do you know a solution for this issue ? thanks and regards

  This code for parsing my xml and appending via jquery seems to work great in every browser but Chrome (Mac only, the windows version of chrome works fine) and explorer. I'm not aware of any glaring issues in the code so I thought some fresh eyes might help. • Can jQuery dynamically change a "username" field based on a "name" field?

  Hi all, basically I have two input fields, "name" and "username". The idea is that the "username" field will change depending on what is entered into the "name" field - dynamically. I also need the username field to be in lowercase only and to change spaces into dashes. I was thinking using onkeydown but I couldn't get it to do anything. I've been looking around, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. • Extract multiple values from one column in MySql

  I've noticed that MySql has an extensive search capacity, allowing both wildcards and regular expressions. However, I'm in somewhat in a bind since I'm trying to extract multiple values from a single string in my select query. For example, if I had the text "<span>Test</span> this <span>query</span>", perhaps using regular expressions I could find and extract values "Test" or "query", but in my case, I have potentially n such strings to extract. And since I can't define n columns in my select statement, that means I'm stuck. Is there anyway I could have a list of values (ideally separated by commas) of any text contained with span tags? In other words, if I ran this query, I would get "Test,query" as the value of spanlist: select <insert logic here> as spanlist from HtmlPages ...

• How do I send a file as an email attachment using Linux command line?

  I've created a script that runs every night on my Linux server that uses mysqldump to back up each of my MySQL databases to .sql files and packages them together as a compressed .tar file. The next step I want to accomplish is to send that tar file through email to a remote email server for safekeeping. I've been able to send the raw script in the body an email by piping the backup text file to mailx like so: $ cat mysqldbbackup.sql | mailx [email protected] cat echoes the backup file's text which is piped into the mailx program with the recipient's email address passed as an argument. While this accomplishes what I need, I think it could be one step better, Is there any way, using shell scripts or otherwise, to send the compressed .tar file to an outgoing email message as an attachment? This would beat having to deal with very long email messages which contain header data and often have word-wrapping issues etc.

I have this atm: for($i = 0; $i <= count($textChars); $i++){ while($textChars[$i] == $alfabet[A]){ $alfabet[A]++; } } echo $alfabet[A]; Problem 1: i want to loop the alfabet array to, so now i only check for A but i want to check all indexes. • Reading a file used by another process

  I know this has been up for discussion but I can't find an answer to my specific problem. I am monitoring a text file that is being written to by a server program. Every time the file is changed the content will be outputted to a window in my program. The problem is of course, that I can't use the Streamreader on the file as it is being "used by another process". Also setting up a Filestream with ReadWrite won't do any good since I cannot control the process that is using the file. However... You CAN open the file in notepad, so somehow it must be possible to access it even though the server is using it. Is there a good way around this? Should I monitor the file, make a temp copy of it when it changes, read the temp copy and the delete the temp copy. I need to get hold of the text in the file whenever the server changes it.

• How do I code and compile an Amiga application?

  I would like to program an application for the Amiga, just for fun! Please could someone post a step by step howto based on the following? Exactly what programming tools I should use, are there any already installed? Am I limited to plain text editors, or are there IDEs and debugging tools available? If no tools are already installed, how can this done? Are there free ones? I'd like to learn a traditional Amiga language, could you reccomend one? What should I use to compile the language you suggest? Please could you suggest tools I may use to debug the suggested language? Are there any libraries I should be aware of, such as GUI libraries? Some things to note... I'm running Workbench 3.1 from within the WinUAE emulator. From Workbench, I can access files from my Windows hard drive. I'd like to code and compile it from Workbench if possible. I'm running WinUAE in A1200 mode, not sure if that matters. There's an application already installed called MEmacs. I know C++ and C# very well, maybe there's a similar Amiga language. I'm aware that you can code with C and C++, but I want to learn a new language. • Doing some stuff right before the user exits the page

  I have seen some questions here regarding what I want to achieve and have based what I have so far on those answer. But there is a slight misbehavior that is still irritating me. What I have is sort of a recovery feature. Whenever you are typing text, the client sends a sync request to the server every 45 seconds. It does 2 things. First, it extends the lease the client has on the record (only one person may edit at one time) for another 60 seconds. Second, it sends the text typed so far to the server in case the server crashes, internet connection fails, etc. In that case, the next time the user enters our application, the user is notified that something has gone wrong and that some text was recovered. Think of Microsoft or OpenOffice recovery whenever they crash! Of course, if the user leaves the page willingly, the user does not need to be notified and as a result, the recovery is deleted. I do that final request via a beforeunload event. Everything went fine until I was asked to make a final adjustment... The same behavior you have here at stack overflow when you exit the editor... a confirm dialogue. This works so far, BUT, the confirm dialogue is shown twice. Here is the code. The event if (local.sync.autosave_textelement) { window.onbeforeunload = exitConfirm; } The function function exitConfirm() { var local = Core; if (confirm('blub?')) { local.sync.autosave_destroy = true; sync(false); return true; } else { return false; } }; Some problem irrelevant clarifications: Core is a global Object that contains a lot of variables that are used everywhere. sync makes an ajax request. The values are based on the values that the Core.sync object contains. The parameter determines if the call should be async (default) or sync. Edit 1 I did try to separate both things (recovery deletion and user confirmation that is) into beforeunload and unload. The problem there was that unload is a bit too late. The user gets informed that there is a recovery even though it is scheduled to be deleted. If you refresh the page 1 second later, the dialogue disappears as the file was deleted by then.

• Jquery: how to trigger td a when tr is clicked

  Hey, I have a table where the first td in the trs contains a link. I want this anchor to be triggered (clicked) no matter where i click in the containing tr. I have read and tried alot of recents post and suggentions on this topic but i can't get this to work. I tried the trigger() and triggerHandle() functions, but it does not trigger the anchor click that i want. There must be others who have had the need to trigger a anchor click when a tr is clicked, so that the user doesn't have to click the tds anchor link. It sure is a nice UI feature if its possible?   I have code that uses the BeautifulSoup library for parsing, but it is very slow. The code is written in such a way that threads cannot be used. Can anyone help me with this? I am using BeautifulSoup for parsing and than save into a DB. • Fire only one Custom Validator at a time

  I have two Custom Validators attached to a textbox. The textbox is to enter comma separated list of emails. The first validator checks that there is not duplicate email address. The second custom validator checks that all the email addresses are in valid format. I have following code and it works fine. However, when both the failure criteria is met both of them are firing and I get two * at the right side of my textbox. What is the best approach to show only one * at a time?
