    Is it possible to host 2 asp.net projects off one ip address? I don't have a domain name just an ip number. I'm running IIS7. The first project runs and displays fine over the web by simply typing in the ip address into the browser but I'm having trouble accessing the second.   • Why is my web page left-aligned on iPad?

    I recently built a site and centered it using margin: 0 auto. I also wrapped elements in a .wrapper class with a width set to 960px and then had the parent element extend across the whole browser. When I view the Brands screen on an iPad though, the site is left-aligned and does not extend across the whole window. Any thoughts to why this might be happening, and how to correct it?   • How to test custom handler500?

    I write my handler for server errors and define it at root urls.py: handler500 = 'myhandler' And I want to write unittest for testing how it works. For testing I write view with error and define it in test URLs configuration, when I make request to this view in browser I see my handler and receive status code 500, but when I launch test that make request to this view I see stack trace and my test failed. Have you some ideas for testing handler500 by unittests?

  • Square Brackets in Python Regular Expressions (re.sub)

    I'm migrating wiki pages from the FlexWiki engine to the FOSwiki engine using Python regular expressions to handle the differences between the two engines' markup languages. The FlexWiki markup and the FOSwiki markup, for reference. Most of the conversion works very well, except when I try to convert the renamed links. Both wikis support renamed links in their markup. For example, Flexwiki uses: "Link To Wikipedia":[http://www.wikipedia.org/] FOSwiki uses: [[http://www.wikipedia.org/][Link To Wikipedia]] both of which produce something that looks like I'm using the regular expression renameLink = re.compile ("\"(?P<linkName>[^\"]+)\":\[(?P<linkTarget>[^\[\]]+)\]") to parse out the link elements from the FlexWiki markup, which after running through something like "Link Name":[LinkTarget] is reliably producing groups <linkName> = Link Name <linkTarget = LinkTarget My issue occurs when I try to use re.sub to insert the parsed content into the FOSwiki markup. My experience with regular expressions isn't anything to write home about, but I'm under the impression that, given the groups <linkName> = Link Name <linkTarget = LinkTarget a line like line = renameLink.sub ( "[[\g<linkTarget>][\g<linkName>]]" , line ) should produce [[LinkTarget][Link Name]] However, in the output to the text files I'm getting [[LinkTarget [[Link Name]] which breaks the renamed links. After a little bit of fiddling I managed a workaround, where line = renameLink.sub ( "[[\g<linkTarget>][ [\g<linkName>]]" , line ) produces [[LinkTarget][ [[Link Name]] which, when displayed in FOSwiki looks like <[[Link Name> <--- Which WORKS, but isn't very pretty. I've also tried line = renameLink.sub ( "[[\g<linkTarget>]" + "[\g<linkName>]]" , line ) which is producing [[linkTarget [[linkName]] There are probably thousands of instances of these renamed links in the pages I'm trying to convert, so fixing it by hand isn't any good. For the record I've run the script under Python 2.5.4 and Python 2.7.3, and gotten the same results. Am I missing something really obvious with the syntax? Or is there an easy workaround?

  • Updating Embedded Video in Firefox

    I am working on a Videos page where my intention is to load a video with the page but by clicking a link, the original video will be updated and replaced with the corresponding video. For instance, if video1 loads with the page and the user clicks to view video2, the original div's innerHTML holding video1 is updated to play video2. Now, I have works great in IE and Chrome but nothing loads at all in Firefox. Below are some snippets of my code. Any idea how to load these videos in a manner that Firefox supports?   • (Android) Seems like my JSON query is getting double encode

    Hi, I am getting some weird errors with my Android App. It appears that this code is double encoding the JSON string. What should be sent is ?{"email":"[email protected]","password":"asdf"} or ?%7B%22email%22:%22..... what the server is seeing is %257B%2522email%2522:%2522 .... which means the server sees %7B%22email%22:%22 ..... This confuses the server. Any ideas why this is happening?     I have a site that has a mix of http and https pages. Under the root of the site, one folder has all the http pages and another has all the https pages. Login is over https and sends the user to the other pages. When a session expires the forms authentication redirects to the Login page but the browser uses http and the user gets a 403 error. Is there any way to override the session timeout to send it to https?
