• Wordpress transfer to new ftp. Help, Home link doesn't work?

  Hi I've transfered my wordpress site to a new ftp server, but my home link doesn't work properly. When I click on it, it goes to http://123.456.78.8/mydomain.com and I get a page not found message. I've discovered it needs a / at the end to work. Does anyone know a way to fix this before I put it on my live site? Could it be a database or config file issue? Thanks for all your help Regards Judi P.S Could it be the permalink structure? Will it work when change my domain to http://mydomain.com?

• How to subscribe to EventHandler of a private control outside of Form

  Hi all, maybe my design is not good, or I don't see the obvious solution, but I want to subscribe to a buttonClick EventHandler of Form1 from outside form1. For example I have a Controller and Form1 who are both instanced in the main function. Now I want to subscribe a function from Controller to the buttonClick event from Button1_Click in Form1. But the button1 is declarded private, so i can't do form1->Button1->Click += gcnew EventHandler(controller->function) Is there any way to get around this? Ok I could write a setter or something in Form1, but is there any other solution? I read some examples, but they are all calling events from within the same class so they don't address my specific problem.

  In visual studio, we can open a file in a #Include statement by right clicking the filename in include statement and then clicking "Open Document". But sometimes, when I want to open a file, I don't remember where it was in the project or where has it been included. What I do is that I open any file, add a #include statement for that file, then right-click-Open Document to open the file and then remove the #include statement that I added just to open this file. Can someone plz tell me a more straight forward way of quickly opening a file without searching for it? I am using Visual Studio 2008

  Hello people, http://www.atwebresults.com/php_ajax_image_upload/ I am using this script for so-called AJAX file upload but which is actually based on opening of iframe and then submitting form from it. What my problem is, I am using this script in a form which will have some other fields too. So after uploading the image, when I click submit at the end of the form, the form is submitted to the file which was opened in iFrame. As I am not an expert in JS, can you guys help me with this? I tried changing the action attribute and tried to completely remove the form too, but nothing helped.

  I want to display a few images (probably 5 max) and have a user click to select one. First thing I tried was radio buttons and putting the images inside labels. <input type="radio" name="BackgroundId" id="BackgroundId" value="1" /> <label for="BackgroundId"><img src="../../Content/images/thumb_1.jpg" /></label> Firefox will select the radio button when the user clicks the image, but IE doesn't. Is there a jquery plugin that will make the images clickable? Fancy-form looks like something I could use, but it isn't jquery and I've already got jquery in my project. Or can someone point me to a better way of selecting a single image?

  Hi, I'm using this script for my online shopping basket: http://www.webresourcesdepot.com/fly-to-basket-effect-with-jquery/. Like people suggest in the comments it's easy buggy when you click multiple times on the same image. How can I disable the img link when it's clicked once and re-enable it when the product is added to the basket? I've tried setting the attribute HREF of to # in the beginning of the function, but that doesn't help. So when a user clicks the function needs to be executed, but the link should be disabled as long as the function is busy. thanks in advance for your help.

  In the Google Maps application, when you open the menu and click on "Directions", it pops up a dialog that is unique to Google Maps. It keeps the MapView in the background, but displays the search dialog from the top (or bottom, if you're on an old version of Android). I was curious if anyone knew how they achieved this effect. I'm willing to create a custom Dialog, but it seems that Dialogs are designed to pop into the middle of the screen (any other types of dialogs are denied permission as system dialogs). What trick is Google Maps using?

• how to hightlight a div if the page.isvalid=false.

  I wanna high light particular div when the page.isvalid=false. on the pageload i am able to get display the error message. But the issue is that i am not able to highlight the control which is required. I have a js function which sets the error class to the div. Its working fine when i click on a button. • InfoPath browser form submitting dirty fields changed through javascript

  I'm trying to submit an InfoPath browser form with fields that have been modified through the Spell Checker included in Sharepoint server. The spell checker checks all the fields in the page and once the user closes the SpellChecker dialog, it changes the textboxes with the new values through javascript. When I click Submit, debug the FormEvents_Submit in the form code behind and try to do a GetNodeValue("XPath to changed field"), it still shows the old values. I realize that this may be a problem of doing postbacks and I'd like to do a full page postback once the SpellChecker is done changing all the textboxes. Any suggestions would be appreciated.   I have a custom event handler, or I suppose some call it a custom jquery function. My problem is I'm trying to apply the live() method to it. But I'm not too successful. Here's a simple custom jquery function: $.fn.myFunction = function() { return $(this).addClass('changed'); } And here I use it: $('.changePlease').myFunction(); Ok, simple enough. But how do I apply the live() method to it?? I actually have no idea if that's even possible.   I have a asp.net application which generates reports.When the user clicks on generate report, the report is generated in the background and link to that report is written on the UI. There is no problem with the application as many of them are able to generate the reports successfully. However few users are facing issue is generating reports.The issue is, "When they click on generate report button, the report is being generated but before getting the link to the report,users are getting "page cannot be displayed" page" "And for few of them it occurs only in IE and not in mozila" Please help me in resolving this issue. It seems however that the Thread is not being Terminated/Aborted when I close the application (click "x" button on titlebar ;)). Is that because the main Thread routine is while(true) {...} ? What is the solution here? I was looking for some "interruption" flag for the Thread as the condition for "while" loop, but didn't found any ...

  I am trying to get some Javascript working in my Rails app. I want to have my index page allow me to edit individual items on the index page, and then reload the index page upon edit. • WordPress page is listed in "Posts" but appears on site as a "Page", What gives?

  I've seen this on a few sites now and its puzzling me. The page will be listed under the "Edit Posts" listing, however, when I click on "View Page" to see the live post, its being served out as a "Page". I can tell this by viewing the source and the body tag is... <body class="page page-id-37 logged-in"> If its were actually a post, the body tag should be <body class="single postid-63 logged-in"> I've seen a "post to page" and a "page to post" plugin that will convert between pages and posts, however, this site has NO plugins other than the wordpress defaults (akismet and hello dolly). I'm stumped.

• HTML: When i hide a textbox in a Table, is it expected that the table reformats the space?

  Hi, i have a input type=text in a table (in a TD actually) When a user clicks a checkbox, the input is hidden with Jquery (via the hide method) This makes the style of the input to "display:none;" So far so good. Now, when that has happened, the row where the cell is in is shrunk (the height is lowered) because the only thing left in the row is a <span>, which height is lower than the input height. The net result of this is that the row gets smaller, and when you click the checkbox again the input re-appers and the row gets larger. That doesn't look so nice, so i wondered if there was a way to prevent this? And second: is this the way it should work (the table resizing)?

• dijit hovering MenuItem issue

  I have a dijit.layout.TabContainer on my form. I resize the browser window in such a way that all tabs won't fit in a single screen. In this case dijit automatically adds a drop-down button at the right end of the TabContainer (I get this for free). If I click on the drop-down button then I get the full List of Tab Names. Hovering over the List of Tab Names (which is in fact a collection of menu items) it blanks out the menu item name which I'm currently over. e.g. Full List: Tab1 Tab2 Tab3 Hovering over Tab2 I get: Tab1 Tab3 I get the same issue with any other dijit.Menu, dijit.MenuItem AND I get the same issue on IE, Firefox, Chrome. I haven't tested on any other browser. Thanks.
