  We are a small company looking to run our software on devices with a Single Board Computer. We are deciding which vendor to go with. It would be nice to hear your recommendations. Doing a quick search for "Single Board Computer vendors" yields several options. WinSystems, Tri-M, etc. Based on your experience which of these companies do you recommend? We need to run Windows XPe. The board needs to be x86, with USB and ethernet interfaces. I agree that this is really close to off-topic. And almost like asking which car company do you like?

  I'm using a Lenovo B570e. I've installed the mesa-utils for the graphic driver because it wasn't recognized by default. Now I have this: graphic card : Intel® Sandybridge Mobile x86/MMX/SSE2. I don't know if it's just my impression but I think all the images are a little bit pixelated and I think it have something to do with the drivers. Maybe is not the correct driver associated with it, I'm saying this because when I was on Windows 7 the name of the driver was something like " Intel hd graphics..." Any suggestions? Thank you!   I have created a bootable USB drive using SYSLINUX I am booting my x86 system correctly. Once system boots I want to stop at console (command prompt) where I can type linux commands (cd etc) and run my executable file manually. Does that mean I have to have busy box installed (for basic commands). What makes system stop at command prompt? I do have /dev/console. My serial console is tty1. • TexturePacker ignores extensions

  I'm using TexturePacker in one of my games, though when packing a bunch of textures their extension is kept in the data file. So when I want to find a texture I need to search for "image.png" instead of just "image". Is there an option to let texture packer ignore the extensions of my source images in the data file? Solved: So if anyone else wants this, here's the exported I made: https://www.box.com/s/bf12q1i1yc9jr2c5yehd Just extract it into "C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeAndWeb\TexturePacker\bin\exporters\UIToolkit No Extensions" (or something similar) and it should show op as an exporter.

  I have installed Visual Studio 2010 and Biztalk. I create a new Biztalk-project in Visual STudio 2010. I choose 'Add new item' and then 'New generated schema'. Here I can choose 'Document type'. I choose 'Well-Formed XML (Not loaded)' and choose an input file. Now I get the message 'XFW to XSD schema generation module is not installed. Execute 'C:\Program files (X86)\Microsoft Biztalk Server 2010\SDK\Utilities\Schema Generator\InstallWFX.vbs to install the WFX to XSD schema generation module. I try to execute that file and some text hastily appear on the console. I restart Visual Studio 2010, but it still doesn't work. Apparently the execution of the shell script didn't work. I try to restart the computer, but it still doesn't work. Could anyone tell me what to do?

  I have downloaded an ISO file of UBANTU 12.10 x86 from the official website (www.ubantu.com). When I tried to install it everything was going good till I got the error message something like "the media you are using is probably currupt or you have an hard disk error . It did't told me what to do. I am already running WINDOW 7 ultimate in my pc and it is running fine i have tested my hard disk for error and no errors was found by "system mechanic pro 11" . after that i tried to install my WINDOW 7 on the same partition and it was successful . Even now I am unable to install UBANTU. It is my first experience with UBANTU so I don't know what to do. please guide me . my email is [email protected]

  Hi, I am supporting all orientation for the iPad app. I am adjusting the my view with autoresizingMask for orienttaion changes (main view and tabbar) . But the subviews in the main view are flowing out of the mainview in landscape mode. so i forced a "setNeedsLayout for the mainview, making subviews in mainview to fit into the mainview boundary. But the issues is that subviews added in the lower part fo mainview are not responding to touches in landscape mode, but working fine with portrait mode. Any F1 ?

Google yielded a few results in antique Java and Python, but no modern implementations. I am curious if I have to write my own parser. Do you know of a modern implementation in C# or Java? In case there really are no parsers available, how should I implement one? Are there general guidelines or tools (in a C# environment) I should know of?   I working on a possible machine learning project that would be expected to do high speed computations for machine learning using SVM (support vector machines) and possibly some ANN. I'm resonably comfortable working on matlab with these, but primarly in small datasets, just for experimentation. I'm wondering if this matlab based approach will scale? or should i be looking into something else? C++ / gpu based computing? java wrapping of the matlab code and pushing it onto app engine? Incidentally, there seems to be a lot fo literature on GPUs, but not much on how useful they are on machine learning applications using matlab, & the cheapest CUDA enlabled GPU money can buy? is it even worth the trouble?

  Say I have a hashmap, $hash = array('fox' => 'some value', 'fort' => 'some value 2', 'fork' => 'some value again); I am trying to accomplish an autocomplete feature. When the user types 'fo', I would like to retrieve, via ajax, the 3 keys from $hash. When the user types 'for', I would like to only retrieve the keys fort and fork. Is this possible? What I was thinking was using binary search to isolate the keys with 'f', instead of brute-force searching. Then continue eliminating the indexes as the user types out their query. Is there a more efficient solution to this?

  I've got a folder of images which is reaching a critical mass after a few years. I want to move images into alphabetical folders, so that /img/foo.jpg goes into /img/f/foo.jpg and /img/bar.jpg goes into /img/b/bar.jpg and so on. In order to make the transition smooth, and to allow the manual uploaders to put stuff into the top level, I'd like to use mod_rewrite to do this: if /img/foo.jpg exists, serve it up, if not look for it in /img/f/foo.jpg thanks for any suggestions. For the record, no, I don't think we need to go /img/f/fo/foo.jpg just yet.

• Can I install WhizzyTeX for Emacs on a Mac (is Mac OS X a unix environment)?

  I think my question is pretty stupid, but here it goes: I am using Aquamacs, and I want to install the WhizzyTeX mode. The website for WhizzyTeX says that "it is designed for Unix platforms". I read that Mac OS X is unix certified, but does that mean I can install WhizzyTeX on my mac? If yes, can I install and use it with Aquamacs or do I have to use the Emacs running from the terminal? PS: I don't know whether this question should be posted here or on SuperUser, but as Emacs users seem to hang out here more often, this is the place I chose. EDIT: There are some websites saying I can use WhizzyTeX with Carbon Emacs on mac os x, but some places say I cannot (see for example this pdf document, page 27, which says that "* whizzytex: http://cristal.inria.fr/whizzytex/ mode in latex with ocaml good fo linux, should also work in cygwin, doe not work on osx"). So I am really confused...

In the transition from one unit to another - animation is performed in two steps (I want a continuous animation). Script code is not beautiful, very much repetition. In short - it looks not nice. How to improve the script to look at the animation and it was good fo eyes (if you have ready-made solutions - please note me). Update: If you set the animation smaller - that animation looks quite nice.

Example: task a needs to be run every 1 mins task b needs to be run every 3 mins task c needs to be run every 5 mins these tasks can be added and removed in arbitary time...   I started web development in LAMP/WAMP and it was logical to me . There is a Web Server program called Apache which does the networking part of setting up a service on port 80 ( common port ) . If the request is regular HTML it uses the HTTP headers to transport files .And if the request for the file is a PHP one , it has a mod_php with which Apache invokes the PHP interpreter to process the file and it gives back HTML which is again transferred as usual HTML . Now the question is what is a Web Framework ? I came across Python based website creation and there is Flask . What is a flask , how does it compare with LAMP . Further are DJango / Ruby on Rails different from flask ? Can someone answer me and also give some good places to read on these .Thanks for your answers in advance . Further is things like LAMP slower than the common FRAMEWORKS because they claimn easy deplyment fo web apps .

This where I get stuck. The file test.txt has the below UUID stored in it: self.uid = '5EFF837F-EFC2-4c32-A3D4-D15C7F9E1F22' I want to replace the part D15C7F9E1F22. I have also tried this: r = re.compile(r'(self.uid\s*=\s*)(\S+)') for l in fp: m1 = r.match(l) new=map(int,m1.group(2).split("-") new[4]='RHUI5345JO' But I cannot seem to match the string.
