  • Camping: Return user to recent entries, but keep errors

    Users can view a specific entry in my webapp with a URL. /entry/8, for example. If an entry doesn't exist, "Entry not found" gets appended to @messages and I render an error page. I'd like to redirect the user to /recent, but I can't figure out a good way to keep the error message around to be displayed. There are other actions that need to take place in the Recent controller, so I can't just duplicate the query and render :posts.

    I encrypt my message with a symmetric key and the symmetric key itself has to be further encrypted with different RSA public keys.   • iPhone: trouble with wrong credentials

    I am writing an iPhone App that uses a HTTPS/SOAP service which needs user credentials. After I change the password used for these credentials from a valid to an invalid one I still get a valid response from the service, as if the password was never changed. When I restart the app (with the invalid password) the app immediately receives the expected '401' message. Any hints what I might left out to code? Thx :)

For examle: we have 2 process: * /usr/bin/foo1 * /usr/bin/foo2 They are run under account with username userA and try to open for modify file: /home/userA/test.txt I want that if foo1 try to open file - it's ok. But if foo2 try to open this file - i have message about this in /var/log Problem is that both processes have the same user ID. And i cant use RBAC by username.

  • How do I uninstall the .NET framework?

    I'm having a problem running a VS 2005 app on some machines and not others. I looked up the error message on google and found a post by someone who had the same error and fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the .NET framework. When I try to do that, Windows won't let me because it is in use. Am I expected to uninstall everything that is using the framework first, then uninstall the framework, then reinstall, etc.? Does anyone know of an easier way?

    I'm currently working on a WCF service that reaches out to another service to submit information in a few of its operations. The proxy for the second service is generated through the strongly typed ProxyFactory<T> class. I haven't experienced any issues but have heard I should do something like the following when making the call: using (new OperationContextScope((IContextChannel)_service)) _service.Send(message); So my question is: when is creating this new OperationContextScope appropriate, and why?     so i have a nsmutablearray that populates from a socket message. problem is, when i call numberofrowsinsection on the uitableview, it will be 0, because it loads from the array. the array has 0 objects, because the incomingMessage hasn't been received yet. i observe this array in my appdelegate, when it changes, i call refreshData on the tableView, but it doesn't refresh. how do you load a uitableview from a dynamic array?

    I installed Boost via sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev on the most recent version of Ubuntu. Now I want to compile a project that uses the Boost.Serialization library, which needs to be linked. I've tried many variants of the following, without success: gcc -I /usr/lib code.cpp -o compiled /usr/lib/libboost_serialization.a and gcc -I /usr/lib code.cpp -o compiled -l libboost_serialization The error message is: error: ‘split_member’ is not a member of ‘boost::serialization ` What am I missing?
