  • Uninstall exceptions in InstallShield

    Hello, I have a setup project with InstallShield 2010. I'm deploying a configuration file during installation. However, when uninstalled, InstallShield decides to delete it (which is normal). The question is, is there a way to keep the file on the hard disk even after the application in uninstalled? I don't want to reconfigure the application every time the user uninstalls/installs. Edit: I'm using MSI project.

    We have a requirement where we need to convert from .wav file to .mp3 and we are currently using "Tritonus" library to do that . The concern with that library is that requires "installation" of some "dll" files to the class path. I am wondering are there any API's those allow better processing without local installation. And other question is ,having mp3 format files will make it easier to join the files into a single file than having .wav files ?

During question session, he seems never heard of Groovy or Scala.... He is from a decent University in US...     Hi guys, This is my first time on stack overflow, so I apologize if this question has been asked before, but is there an easy way to implement an RSS reader on the Google Android (API 1.5)? I'm searched far and wide with the code sources I know of, and I've only found one implementation which takes 6 different classes and doesn't seem to compile on the current Android SDK's.     Hi, Is it better to have a field status enum('active', 'hidden', 'deleted') OR status tinyint(3) with a lookup table. Assume that status can take only one value at a time. In particular, I am interested in knowing, are operations on enum significantly slower than or as fast as operations on int ?
