  Hi folks I have a table with three columns, which we'll call ID1, ID2, and Value. Sample data: ID ID1 Value 1 1 0 1 2 1 1 3 1 1 3 2 1 4 0 1 4 1 1 5 0 1 5 2 2 1 2 Value is limited to 0, 1, or 2. What I need to do is pivot/transform this data into a column-based count of how many times each possible Value appears, grouped by ID, ID1. The output of the above should be: ID ID1 Val0 Val1 Val2 1 1 1 0 0 1 2 0 2 0 1 3 0 1 1 1 4 1 1 0 1 5 1 0 1 2 1 0 0 1 I'm using SQL Server 2008. How do I do this?

  I'm making a game in pygame and on the first screen I want there to be buttons that you can press to (i) start the game, (ii) load a new screen with instructions, and (iii) exit the program. I've found this code online for button making, but I don't really understand it (I'm not that good at object oriented programming). If I could get some explanation as to what it's doing that would be great.   Hi, Does anyone know of a very basic tag JQuery script? (Facebook like tag feature) All I want to do is when I type @ in a text box for it to search an AJAX search, it then brings back a display name i.e. "Bob Johnson" and an associated Id and stores the Id in a comma delimited list. So an example would be the following .... [TextArea] [Name 1] [Name 2] [Name 3] The thing is it also needs to remove this entry (Id) once the tag gets removed, also it needs to load into a DIV which has a scrollbar so that the list doesn't get to big. If anyone know's how/if this is possible that would be great. Thanks.

I have two tables 1 . imdb (its for store movie details) id,name,actors,vote 2. ratings (its for store users rating details) id,rating_id(its same as id from first table),rating_num,IP now what am doing is..when anyone rating a movie take the avg of that movie rating by using rating tables (total ratings/number of ratings) and insert that value into "vote" column in first table..my demands this..thats why done like this.. Now my problem is..i want to fetch top rated movies..i mean in vote column which movie have top rating which want to list and one more condition is that that movie should rated by 10 users(use ratings table for that) thanks in advance

In this case event's foreign key is NULL. • Seam reRender component in partial; reRender across naming containers

  Hello, I'm using seam to develop a simple web app. Using a4j commandButton in many places, with the property reRender="componentName" componentName is in most places a a4j outputPanel Which always worked, until I used a template. with include of two different views. reRender applied to the whole view does work, but reRender applied to an inner component does not. Same issue with page rules, all action I had defined are not functioning any more. • Raspberry Pi broadcast serial port data to local network

  I didn't find anything to help me with this problem. What I want is: Serial device sends repeatedly some data to serial port. Raspberry Pi should get this data from RxD and stream it to local network via port 10001 without filtering it. So I can find this device on my pc. This should also work in other direction: Raspberry listen to port 10001 and forward all data from local network to TxD. I'm newbie in Linux World. How can I listen to some port on Raspberry Pi and send broadcast to the same port? I'm using Raspbian Wheezy with soft float. I have found a library Pi4j for Java, that I already use to get and write data from/to serial port. final Serial serial = SerialFactory.createInstance(); serial.addListener(new SerialDataListener() { public void dataReceived(SerialDataEvent event) { forward(event.getData()); } }); event.getData() is a String, which I want to broadcast in my local network. Is it generally a good Idea to use Java for that? I need also a String from port 10001, which I can forward to serial port.

• Creating objects and referencing before saving object to db

  Sorry about the vague title, but i didnt know how to ask the question in one line :) I have an order with nested itemgroups that again have nested items. the user specify the amount of item that he would like to have in each itemgroup. I would like to create these items in the create method of the orders controller when the order itself is being created. I kinda have 2 problems here. First, how do i set the reference of the items, or better yet, put the items into the @order object so they are saved when the @order is saved? the items are being stored in the db as the code is now, but the reference is not set because the order is not stored in the db yet so it doesnt have an id yet. Second, im not sure im using the correct way to get the id from my itemgroup. @order = Order.new(params[:order]) @order.itemgroups.each do |f| f.amount.times do @item = Item.new() @item.itemgroup_id = f.id @item.save end end

  I'm trying to create a button to show / hide a div below it, all is working fine, I'm just struggling with the last bit!   I have to create logic for generation unique number identifier for records in database. id, generated in database is a separate column. At this moment, when user calls "create record" action, I save new record, get its database id, generate record number using this id, then put it to the edit form. Using this way means that all entity fields should be nullable to save record to database. I don't like this way. I know that should be better way. Is there a better practice to generate unique number identifier? What is possibility of generating non-unique random numbers? Thank you

  This is a bit of a convoluted question, hopefully I can make it clear. I am finding that this may not be possible, but am trying to see if anybody has a solution. I have four classes, two are core classes and two are those core classes extended: extUser Extends coreUser extSecurity Extends coreSecurity In the constructor for coreUser you have this: public coreUser(string id, ref coreSecurity cs) When trying to extend coreUser you would have this: public extUser(string id ref extSecurity es) : base(id, ref es) This fails because es is of type, extSecurity and the base class expects a type of coreSecurity. I've not found anyway to cast this to allow for me to override this base class in C#. In VB it works just fine. Ideas?

• Help constructing query - Compare columns and replace numbers

  I have a feeling that this query is pretty easy to construct, I just can't figure it out. I want to replace all numbers in table X column C, with numbers in table Z column A, where numbers from table X column C matches numbers in table Z column B. I hope that makes sense. Perhaps a little background information will make it clearer. I've converted from one CMS to another, and the module I used to convert mapped the ids to the new database. Table X column A is the new id's. Table X column B is the old id's. Table Z is the table for an image gallery that I migrated, and column C contains the id's of the images owners. Can anyone crack this nut?

I would like to query such that I get the following result Id Reference DateAttribute1 DateAttribute2 2 MMM005 2012-06-13 2012-09-10 4 MMM006 2012-08-22 2012-09-11 I would like my result to be grouped by reference and then 'DateAttribute1' and then 'DateAttribute2' as such - DateAttribute1 has a priority over DateAttribute2 as you can see above in the result. How should I write my query to fetch the results in the above manner? Any solution?
