• GXT/GWT html content reloads when switching tabs

  I am working on a GXT/GWT project. I have two tabs in which content is set based on selections from a drop down menu. The content in one tab is an embedded video (Google Video or youtube video) The problem is that when switching tabs, the video reloads and starts from the beginning again. What I would like is to be able to switch tabs and have the video continue to play or pause when the focus switches to another tab. Any ideas, as always, are greatly appreciated. Cheers, Ben

• file corruption on read/write 2.6.32-22-server (happens across many kernels)

  Hi Guys, I'm having an issue where after the server has been up for a period of time (~week/few days) the server will start reading corrupt data. For instance when I run a sha1sum of a file after a fresh boot it remains the same. However after a while I will start to get segfaults and from then on whenever I read this file I get a different sha1sum. I don't believe it's the software raid however as this affects files also hosted on non-raid partitions so I don't know.

But now I want to add also a id to the ul element.   I like the "Hit-a-hint like navigation of links (start with f to follow a link)" feature of vimperator, but using that addon breaks some sites for me. And though I use Vim as an editor, I don't really need it in my browser. Does anyone know of a Firefox Addon that does just that hit-a-hint like navigation?

  I have made a small log service that i want to publish to a subdomain on my webhotel. I make the wcf service and test it locally - no problem. I then go to the [Build] menu and choose [Publish], type in my FTP location and publishes it to the location. No problems. The problem arise when i need to use it, i try to navigate to the .svc file but gets this error: This collection already contains an address with scheme http. There can be at most one address per scheme in this collection. Parameter name: item What am I doing wrong?

  I'm trying to edit the header.tpl of an opencart website that uses vqmod - I need to add some more info (text) to each menu link, so basically edit the header file. I've looked into the vqmod manager and files but I can't seem to get it right. Unfortunately, whenever I try to edit the header file, the site breaks -I've tried editing the cached vqmod files as well, no luck with that. Is there a way to reset the vqmod / disable it, then edit the header.tpl and enable vqmod again? Do I need to install a new theme and start from scratch ? Thanks heaps!

  Hi, I use no-editor in joomla with SEF urls enabled. With no SEF enabled its easy to know the URL by just getting the ID of the article something like : Article 1 would be : http://www.abc.com/j15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1&Itemid=1 Now if I have SEF switched on I would get urls that look like: http://www.abc.com/j15/the-content.html Is there a way inside joomla where I can findout what the SEF URL for a particular page is? Currently I add these articles to a menu, then from the front-end I get the SEF URL and then use it. I know the process is a little dumb but I want to find-out if there is a better way inside joomla where you can get the SEF URL(using no-editor). Thanks! :)

I've tried changing the shortcut in Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Windows Explorer to %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe "C:\My Folder\", in case Win-E references this shortcut, but that did not help. • focus on page scroll navigation when using iPad

  I've used Page Scroller Lite http://pagescroller.com to set up a single-page site at http://www.thestitchshop.co.uk There seems to be an issue that scolling works only once when clicking on a menu item. It will only work again after one touched scrolls the page 'manually' by sliding the finger across the page. Apparently, the issue is that the content gets the focus after the scroll and tapping on navigation then actually taps behind it. I've tried contacting the author of pagecroller, but no luck. So, how do I fix it? I don't have any JS knowledge, so I need a little more help along the way. Many thanks. Each has a menu on it, buttons, it hides and shows subelements, buttons for switch it's state, etc, etc. The elements are populated via JSON so you have to construct the elements and the functionality of the fly. What's the best way to accomplish this with JQuery? Where would you save the reusable template for the DOM structure? How would you add the behavior on? $().live? .livequery? onclick? manual after every JSON get? I guess I just see a lot of people doing different things. What's your experience with performance?
