    We are creating a site that allows users to generate content. The user is provided with a text field only (no title), similar to Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. Each piece of content created by the users will have a dedicated page/URL. Since the page has no title, I was wondering how search engines will index and display our pages. If the content was shared on other social networks, what will those results look like if there is no title for the open graph or Twitter tags?

I can see cookies issued on a per-page basis with Chrome or Firefox console, but given the amount of pages I need a tool to automate the process. I tried to google for website cookie scanner but my search was unfruitful and found: either online tools which only scan the home page paid services (ex1, ex2) Does any of you know about a tool to scan an entire website and generate a report showing which cookies are being used and which page set them?

This is actually a much more sophisticated program than the one we need to simply rate an item, but it introduced you to the sophisticated results that you may achieve by a bit of code and accompanying CSS. In this installment, I am going to handle simple rating with 5 stars. The extra sophistication will come in the form of creating new elements in run time. Why do I need this? I like to be able to extend the SharePoint New and Update forms and put the starts in them simply by using the code shown here. We do not even need to go into SPD. We may achieve this simply by adding a content editor web part; more about this in the next installment. I have created a new page – Rank the Author – in which you may praise me in 5 different ways, but not immediately. The ranking mechanism – the 5 stars – has to be created first. To achieve that, click the “Add Element” button on the screen and then proceed in giving me the appropriate number of stars. Now view the source and see how this extra 5 start element was added. Also see how the ranking is achieved. This, obviously, is not any different in principle than what we did in the Ranking game.     I have synced approximately 10GB of music with U1 over the last 48 hours. Nearly everything appears OK: the songs are tagged correctly, I can queue and play them. However, with the exception of a few that I uploaded first, all of them don't appear under Artist or Album and I can't use the search to find them. I can only find them under Song. Am I just being impatient and U1 just needs time to index these mp3s, or is something wrong?

    We are right now incorporating microformats markup for reviews into a client's web application and were wondering, whether it can be harmful to provide the same information on more than one page, e.g. on a dynamic search page and on the concrete product page. Does anybody have any experience with this? UPDATE: Actually, I was wondering, if Google showed a link to the page the review comes from, then how would they decide which of the sources of the review they would link to? Or don't they?

    Are any Zotac Zboxes suitable as HTPC / media centres? I'm after a fanless HTPC client in the living room to work with my MythTV server in my home office. I like the small compact form factor of the Zbox but what little I could find by Googling didn't clearly recommend any particular models for Ubuntu / MythTV / XBMC. Can anyone recommend any models that work with little hassle? Or, if there aren't any, are there other more Linux-friendly small format fanless PCs I should be looking at instead?
