• How to limit a google calendar xml / rss feed by date range (not working!!)

  For the life of me I cannot get my google calendar xml feed to only display events within a certain date range. I know that start-min and start-max are supposed to limit the output (according to these posts: (links to posts deleted because I am a newbie and can only post one hyperlink argh) BUT I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK. It keeps showing lot of things outside the range. I created a sample calendar and made it public. It is some events the first week of april. Can anyone show me how to construct a request that only returns those three events from the first week in april? I'll GLADLY and GRATEFULLY paypal $10 to anyone who helps me break through on this. • Replacement background image not showing when using GreaseMonkey

  I'm trying to use GreaseMonkey to replace the background image of a DIV on bing.com. It's a pretty straightforward call to GM_addstyle: GM_addStyle(".sw_logo " +"{background:url('http://www.kpao.org/blog/kpao-bing-logo-inverse.png') " +"no-repeat 21px 7px transparent}"); However, the image doesn't show up. It's clearly visible in Firebug, and as I twiddle with the CSS in Firebug, I can get it to show up. But it doesn't stay. Any thoughts on why? Maybe it's a bug, but then maybe I'm missing something obvious. Thanks!

  It seems like ASP.NET WebMethods are not "web servicey" enough to work with New-WebServiceProxy. Or maybe it is, and I haven't figured out how to initialize it? So instead, I tried doing it manually, like so: $wc = new-object System.Net.WebClient $wc.Credentials = [System.Net.CredentialCache]::DefaultCredentials $url = "http://www.domenicdenicola.com/AboutMe/SleepLog/default.aspx/GetSpans" $postData = "{`"starting`":`"\/Date(1254121200000)\/`",`"ending`":`"\/Date(1270018800000)\/`"}" $result = $wc.UploadString($url, $postData) But this gives me "The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error." • Getting a NullPointerException at seemingly random intervals, not sure why

  I'm running an example from a Kinect library for Processing (http://www.shiffman.net/2010/11/14/kinect-and-processing/) and sometimes get a NullPointerException pointing to this line: int rawDepth = depth[offset]; The depth array is created in this line: int[] depth = kinect.getRawDepth(); I'm not exactly sure what a NullPointerException is, and much googling hasn't really helped. It seems odd to me that the code compiles 70% of the time and returns the error unpredictably. Could the hardware itself be affecting it? If I run DBCC TRACEOFF(253), query plans are cached as normal. So my question is...what else does this flag do? Does anybody know the official story?

If I use code behind( default.aspx default.aspx.cs) in a different solution with the same folder strucuture, browser is able to load the flash file.   Hi, I would like to start publishing some news articles from time to time. An option would be to create a new web page for every article but this sounds like it can be done easier. For instance I noticed clear channel uses some kind of feed, like: http://www.z100.com/cc-common/news/sections/newsarticle.html?feed=104650&article=7011404 I don't know what it means and how it works but looks like a nice way to get the article from some kind of database I guess? Does someone knows how this works, or some other way to create new articles etc, some dynamical functionality for instance to generate links to the articles and get the right article from a database for example. thanks!

• Adding Boost Library to a C++ project in Windows Eclipse

  I recently installed the Boost Library on Windows using the installer, I'm trying to link to the library in Eclipse but am not having any luck. I tried going through Project Properties - C/C++ Build - Settings - MinGW C++ Linker - Libraries and add the reference "boost_filesystem" according to this website: http://www.ferdychristant.com/blog//archive/DOMM-76JN6N , but I think that only applies to Unix variants. Everytime I compile I get the error: "cannot find -lboost_filesystem" . I've scoured the net, but cannot find a way to properly use Boost in Eclipse under a Windows platform. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

  I am trying to snatch the code of this fan page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/See-oho-nieps-YothG-RRofiLe/106340746065367 I need the function that suggests the fan page to the users friends automatically (not for spamming purposes as the above fan page is used for). Now by looking at the source, I know that the code is under the pagelet_tab_content, but not all of it. I have copied that part and pasted it into my own fan page. The layout looks identical but the functions does not work. Obviously something is missing. For instance, I cant find the in the source which is strange, as I know for definate that it is being used. I have been working with this all day without any result. Maybe there is someone more intelligent and experienced that could help me out?

  This is what my .htaccess looks like. The .htaccess is sitting in /www/scripts directory which is the parent of codeigniter's "system" directory and which also contains index.php. I have enabled mod_rewrite in my Apache 2.2.x. This is on Ubuntu 9.10 server. I followed this link, but it does not work. Is there anything i need to do in apache2, any specific configuration so that this works??   In my application , a HTTP GET request URL to the application with script tag is getting redisplayed as it is although it fails the authorization. Example: http://www.example.com/welcome<script>alert("hi")</script> The issue is sanitizing external input entered directly into address bar by modifying existing GET URL. Spring redisplays the submitted URL as it is. Though the script does not get executed in the browser(FF), is there anyway to strip the URL of these values before displaying it back to the user Reference: Spring MVC application filtering HTML in URL - Is this a security issue?

• How can Perl's XML::Simple ignore HTML embedded in XML?

  I have an XML file that I am pulling from the web and parsing. One of the items in the XML is a 'content' value that has HTML. I am using XML::Simple::XMLin to parse the file like so: $xml= eval { $data->XMLin($xmldata, forcearray => 1, suppressempty=> +'') }; When I use Data::Dumper to dump the hash, I discovered that SimpleXML is parsing the HTML into the hash tree: 'content' = { 'div' = [ { 'xmlns' = 'http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml', 'p' = [ { 'a' = [ { 'href' = 'http://miamiherald.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83451b26169e20133ec6f4491970b-pi', 'style' = 'FLOAT: left', 'img' = [ etc..... This is not what I want. I want to just grab content inside of this entry. How do I do this?

  Has anyone found a solution to decompressing RAR files on iPhone (not Jailbroken)? It would be great if there was a library similar to libz. I did not find anything official from [URL="http://www.rarlab.com/"]RARlab[/URL]. Anyone successful with integrating [URL="http://wdtz.org/iphone/unrar/"]unRAR[/URL] into their app? The source code appears to be C++? I know that this has been asked before, but I've not seen a solution other than porting unRAR which is beyond me. • Where Are the Release Versions of ASP.Net AJAX 4.0 Templating Files?

  I'm trying to get the production version of ASP.Net AJAX 4.0 Templating working and can't find the JavaScript files. With the beta version I needed to reference MicrosoftAjaxTemplates.js, MicrosoftAjaxAdoNet.js, and MicrosoftAjaxDataContext.js. I can get everything to work with the beta CDN versions (e.g. http://ajax.microsoft.com/ajax/beta/0911/MicrosoftAjaxTemplates.js). But for the life of me I can't find 1. The release CDN versions of these files or 2. Where to download the whole Release ASP.Net AJAX 4.0 JavaScript package. The files certainly are not listed on the ASP.Net AJAX 4.0 CDN at http://www.asp.net/ajaxlibrary/CDNAjax4.ashx. Maybe the files have been renamed? Theoretically this should be a rediculously easy question and I'm a little embarrased to even ask it on StackOverflow, but I've had no luck finding an answer on my own.   Im looking for a (free) solution to a bookingcalender. Among many candidates Ive found the Jquery Full Calender which has many cool features. One of the reason that I like this one is because it has "drag and drop" and resize, which I also need. But I also need to have the dayview where I the columms monday, tuesday, wedensday, thursday friday .... gets replaced with fx. Room1, Room2, Room3, Room4, Room5, Room6, Room7.   Hi, Is there any way to write a MIDlet, but still use BlackBerry API classes and functions (including the APIs that require code signing)? In particular, I'm trying to use Kuix (http://www.kalmeo.org/projects/kuix). A pure MIDlet + Kuix (so without BlackBerry stuff) works perfectly after I converted the jar/jad to a cod file. As soon as I add BlackBerry API-stuff (CoverageInfo.COVERAGE_DIRECT in this case) I get a verification error when trying to run the cod file: Error starting $name: Module $name has verification error 2410 at offset 9a4f What can I do to solve this?
