• Flex Dataprovider caching issue.

  I have two combobox controls. If i change combobox A then I am reading from xml and populating combobox B. The xml is loaded into memory in Application's creationComplete method. When I select values in combobox A and then open combobox B, I am seeing the values correctly, but when I deploy it on the server in a different machine (which is in a different subdomain), then my combobox B values are not cleared and are retained by old selection, when I select the combobox B, then it is getting refreshed. I am making the dataprovider = null for combobox b, and when I am assigning new collection then i am refreshing the arraycollection as well. But still the problem is not solved.

  Hello guys, I hope I can explain this right I have two input fields that require a price to be entered into them in order for donation to go through and submit. The problem that I am having is that I would like the validation process check to see if one of the two fields has a value if so then proceed to submit. If both fields are empty then alert.   I have a javascript that is calling a function addData(param1,param2,param3,param4) which is calling addClip at the end And I need to pass those to a backing bean. <a4j:form> <a4j:jsFunction name="addClip" action="#{backingBean.goGo}"> <a4j:actionparam name="param1" assignTo="#{backingBean.param1}"/> </a4j:jsFunction> </a4j:form> But I can't seem to pass any values to the backingbean. I've even tried setting a static value for the actionparam. But when I try to do a Systemout on the setParam1 method it only prints out null. Have I missed anything important?

I expected the memoized function to be faster, but it didn't work out that way: Average ticks not-memoized 106,182 Average ticks memoized 198,854 I tried doubling the data instances to 2048, but the results were about the same: Average ticks not-memoized 232,579 Average ticks memoized 446,280 I did notice that it was correctly finding the parameters in the map and it going directly to the map, but the performance was still slow... I'm either open for troubleshooting help with this example, or if you have a better solution to the problem then please let me know what it is.

I get a NullReferenceException. My DynamicMethod's signature is: public delegate void DynamicWrite(IMyXmlWriter writer, ref object value, MyContract contract); And I'm definitely not passing in anything null. Thanks in advance!

I am writing my first app in ASP.NET MVC Framework and i have a problem with checking privileges to use instances of model classes (read, edit). How should i resolve that problem?

  Hello, I have an xml file and an xslt file. The xml file has a xmlns="exa:com.test" attribute. If i remove this attribute in the xml the xpath sentences in my xslt works. But if i leave it, doesnt work. Im using the following code to mix xml and xslt: XslCompiledTransform transformer = new XslCompiledTransform(); transformer.Load(HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("xslt\\searchresults.xslt")); transformer.Transform(xmlreader, null, utf8stringwriter); What im doing wrong?   I have two objects that have a ManyToMany relationship with one another through a mapping table. Though, when I try to save it, I get a stack overflow exception.   Hi Guys, Ok I have a data table containing duplicate Reciept numbers and a transaction value for each record, I need to simply list the total for each unique Reciept number, this is obviously a simple problem but I am missing something.   Hello, I have a problem reading OWL/XML files from Java using Jena. • Android Class which extends Dialog, how to clear TextViews before it is displayed

  I have a class that extends android.app.Dialog, the layout is done in an xml file, and the setup (button listeners, etc) is done on the onCreate method. My problem is that whenever the dialog is displayed, then dismissed, and displayed again, the Editable TextViews are still populated with the information that was displayed previously. What is the common way to clear these text fields? Remember - this is a separate class that extends Dialog - so there is no 'onDialogCreate' like Activity has. Or, perhaps I am extending the wrong class? There is just a lot of processing being done, and do not want to have all the code in the main Activity. I would like it to be in a separate Class. I tried to extend AlertDialog, but it does not create the border like Dialog does. Any help would be great. Feedback is welcome. I think have come up with two naive algorithms that find the heaviest length-constrained path in a weighted Binary Tree. Firstly, the description of the algorithm is as follows: given an n-vertex Binary Tree with weighted edges and some value k, find the heaviest path of length k. For both algorithms, I'll need a reference to all vertices so I'll just do a simple traversal of the Tree to have a reference to all vertices, with each vertex having a reference to its left, right, and parent nodes in the tree. Algorithm 1 For this algorithm, I'm basically planning on running DFS from each node in the Tree, with consideration to the fixed path length. In addition, since the path I'm looking for has the potential of going from left subtree to root to right subtree, I will have to consider 3 choices at each node. But this will result in a O(n*3^k) algorithm and I don't like that. Algorithm 2 I'm essentially thinking about using a modified version of Dijkstra's Algorithm in order to consider a fixed path length. Since I'm looking for heaviest and Dijkstra's Algorithm finds the lightest, I'm planning on negating all edge weights before starting the traversal. Actually... this doesn't make sense since I'd have to run Dijkstra's on each node and that doesn't seem very efficient much better than the above algorithm. So I guess my main questions are several. Firstly, do the algorithms I've described above solve the problem at hand? I'm not totally certain the Dijkstra's version will work as Dijkstra's is meant for positive edge values. Now, I am sure there exist more clever/efficient algorithms for this... what is a better algorithm? I've read about "Using spine decompositions to efficiently solve the length-constrained heaviest path problem for trees" but that is really complicated and I don't understand it at all. Are there other algorithms that tackle this problem, maybe not as efficiently as spine decomposition but easier to understand? Thanks.

  I am trying to find all of the types in the Models namespace within an ASP.NET MVC assembly from within a testing assembly. I was trying to use LINQ to find the relevant set for me but it is returning an empty set on me. It works fine in 99% of my program, but for some reason this error appears in one of my model's description method: Example code: localFileId = 7; type = 2; localId = 5; NSLog(@"CachedFile localId=%d, 2=%d, localFileId=%d, type=%d, path=%@", localId, 2, localFileId, type, self.path); Example Result: CachedFile localId=5, 2=0, localFileId=2, type=7, path=(null) Notice the "0" that gets inserted in there, where it should be "2=2". This happens with NSString stringWithFormat as well.
