    I have a big problem. I want get information with an webservice in one URL. But I'mm getting this error: XMLHttpRequest cannot load ht*p://external_url_that_i_trid_to_get. Origin ht*p://localhost:8888 is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.     I have created a console application in VS2010 and I want to create a file in the current directory where the exe runs. I used the following code fp = fopen("Pkts.csv", "w+"); But file is not getting created in the current directory. But when I specifies the path as fp = fopen("C:\\Windows\\Pkts.csv", "w+"); the file gets created in the path specified. How to create the file in the current directory?

    Hi everyone im new to a PHP framework codeIgniter, I am going over the user guide iv ran in to a problem, I am on the part where you load helper file but for some reason my code just isnt working I keep getting this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function anchor() in /home/fresherd/public_html/CI/system/application/views/blogview.php on line 17 now im not 100% sure that it is loading the helper file this could be causing the but I am not sure how to detect the file has been loaded any advice will help many thanks, Alan

    Hi everybody, I've recently started using FDT, for a while I was using FlashDevelop, it had a really handy feature in Compiler options where you can set UseNetworkServices to false which would stop the compiled swf from connecting to the internet and became very useful for running standalone flash apps without security warnings when loading in an external xml file etc. Does anybody know if FDT has a similar function? If there isn't a way, then no worries, I can compile the project in Flash Develop, however it would be best if I can do it from FDT. Cheers guys, Will

When a user is editing the model, I would like a particular drop-down to be rendered as text as I don't want them to change it. A read-only drop-down would suffice, but I'd prefer text.   • Websphre portal does not startup

    When I try to start up a websphere portal server, it hangs at the line : Server WebSphere_Portal open for e-business and although it means that the server started up successfully, it is not...because in the progress bar, i stll see 'Starting.....' I have tried deleting the wstemp and temp directories but beyond that I am not sure what I can do to debug the problem. The server with the same profile starts up great from another workspace, but when I come to this workspace, it just hangs at Server WebSphere_Portal open for e-business I am using RAD 7 and portal 6.1

    Hello, In ASP.NET MVC, we don't have controls which can do stuffs such as autocompletion (we don't have controls at all from Visual Studio like in web forms). But, Is it possible to still get 'Auto-completion' with a text box in ASP.NET MVC (like with the textbox found on the Google's Home page)? If this is the case, what's the best way to do so?
