  • apache high system CPU time

    I have a web server: ubuntu apache+php app+postgresql and a stats server: ubuntu apache+php - piwik and munin2 installed. The communication for munin2 is made through ssh. In munin i see a lot of system cpu activity, that I assume it it because of apache (i see 5 or 6 apache instances using ~5% CPU on top) I was not having this system CPU activity before. Does anyone knows how can I see where that comes from? EDIT: some munin graphs

Assuming that r is parallel to the equator. Getting the radius when A and B is given is trivial using the GLatLng.distanceFrom() method - but doing it the other way around not so. Seems that I need to do some heavier math.

    I recently installed RailRoad gem to generate an .svg diagram of my app's models and controllers. The rake task keeps breaking with a similar error: 1.8/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activesupport-1.4.4/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:263:in `load_missing_constant': uninitialized constant I tried the rake task on 2 seperate apps and the error keeps appearing with a different "constant" name. Anyone using it with similar problems?

    After reading command design pattern, I have a couple of question - Why we are creating concrete command and receiver object on client. Can't this initialization on invoker class? I think client should create invoker and pass it's request to invoker. Invoker should take care of all the stuff. By doing this, We have less dependency on client. The design of class diagram is totally different from actual design.

After reading the info (plain text) it looks a bit ugly.   • graphical svn client for creating branches, merging branches etc?

    hi i wonder if there are some GUI softwares to administrate a svn repo? or do you actually have to log into the ubuntu server with ssh and use all the svn commands to copy the trunk to a branch, merge the data back and forth, copy to a tag, delete and so on... im using netbeans in mac. i think it's only handling the communication between a local project and the repo. not the flows between trunc, branch and tag (creating, deleting, viewing differences etc)

  • Server access through switch port

    I am using wireshark to monitor traffic on a server - Problem is, the computer I am using is only a terminal wired through the switch. Main line comes into the server which is relayed to multi-port switch (roughly 50 connections). Right now I get a lot of server communication between my it and my terminal but shows no information for other terminals. Can wireshark be configured to monitor ALL traffic in this environment?

    I have an ubuntu 12.04 machine were apache2 is set up with SSL certificates. In the same machine there is a SVN server. It all worked great till the update to 12.04. Now I'm able to access the svn via a web-browser and also by using an eclipse plugin (subversive), but I'm not able to access the svn via command line. When I try to check out a repo from a Mac Os X client it returns: svn: E120171: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'https://IP/svn/repo_name' svn: E120171: Error running context: An error occurred during SSL communication If I try to check out a repo from an Ubuntu client it returns: svn: OPTIONS of 'https://IP/svn/repo_name': SSL handshake failed: SSL error: A TLS warning alert has been received.     I am trying to get wifi direct working on a laptop with ubuntu 12.04 When I type the command 'iw list' it doesn't show P2P-client or P2P-go under 'supported interface modes.From http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Documentation/iw/replace-iwconfig I found that 'iwconfig' was replaced with 'iw'.Does it mean that my hardware doesn't have support for wifi-direct or is it just the software(drivers) issue? If is it just sofware issue please help me to find the right drivers which support wifi-direct.
