    Hi, I got a requirement to implement a website in java which will utilize another web service. Here is the scenario I am providing the product compare results to client and assume i am using amazon and other web services. Initially client invoke our web service and then we fetch results from merchants. I don't want complete solution just look for consuming and create web service in java example.   • How to validate a Singaporean FIN?

    Can anyone provide an algorithm to validate a Singaporean FIN? I know with a Singaporean NRIC I can validate it via modulo 11 and then compare the result to a lookup table but cannot find a similar lookup table for the FIN. I also do not know for sure if the modulo 11 is the correct method to validate. I am aware the government sells a algorithm for $400 but maybe someone knows a cheaper way. Bonus points for c# implementation.

  • Check user language selection in NSIS MUI2

    I have multiple language packs in my NSIS installer, using the MUI2 interface. Now I try to select the language pack, which is installed by the "Typical" installation type according to the user's chosen setup language. My problem is, that I can't figure out, how to get the user's language selection. I already tried to access the variables $LANGUAGE and $mui.LangDLL.RegistryLanguage, as well as trying to compare a defined language string to a specific translation string, but without success.

It would be very helpful if instead of if ( col.Name != "Organization" && col.Name != "Contacts" && col.Name != "Orders" ) { } I could just say if ( col.Name != "Organization" || "Contacts" || "Orders" ) { } And I know I could use a list but in some instances I dont want to...     I have an ets with the next items: [at, {other_place}, me], [other_place, {place}, {other_place}]], [at, {place}, me], [on, {surface}, {object}], [small, {object}] And I have the list [[at, door, me],[on, floor, chair],[small, bannanas]] I need to compare every item in the ets table to an item in the list and if the first one is the same atom, replace the items in round brackets. So if I have [at, door, me], it matches with [at, {other_place}, me], I have to change {other_place} for the atom door in all the ets table.

  • Are there known problems with >= and <= and the eval function in JS?

    I am currently writing a JS rules engine which at one point needs to evaluate boolean expressions using the eval() function. Firstly I construct an equation as such: var equation = "relation.relatedTrigger.previousValue" + " " + relation.operator + " " + "relation.value"; relation.relatedTrigger.previousValue is the value I want to compare. relation.operator is the operator (either "==", "!=", <=, "<", "", ="). relation.value is the value I want to compare with. I then simply pass this string to the eval function and it returns true or false as such: return eval(equation); This works absolutely fine (with words and numbers) or all of the operators except for = and <=. E.g. When evaluating the equation: relation.relatedTrigger.previousValue <= 100 It returns true when previousValue = 0,1,10,100 & all negative numbers but false for everything in between. I would greatly appreciate the help of anyone to either answer my question or to help me find an alternative solution. Regards, Augier. P.S. I don't need a speech on the insecurities of the eval() function.
