    Hello, I am using vim with fugitive extension http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2975 It has :Gdiff command which brings you into vimdiff mode, but what is the right/quick way to close/quit vimdiff mode? i.e. let's say I am editing file FooBar.txt under git repository, then firing up :Gdiff, review my changes in vimdiff and want to get back and continue editing FooBar.txt or any other file :) Thanks.

    For all you compiler gurus, I wanna write a recursive descent parser and I wanna do it with just code. No generating lexers and parsers from some other grammar and don't tell me to read the dragon book, i'll come around to that eventually. I wanna get into the gritty details about implementing a lexer and parser for a reasonable simple langauge, say CSS. And I wanna do this right. This will probably end up being a series of questions but right now I'm starting with a lexer. Tokenization rules for CSS can be found here. I'm trying to balence something which is fair in terms of efficiency and easy to work with, using a stack to implement some kind of state machine is working quite well, but I'm unsure how to continue like this. What I have is an input stream, from which I can read 1 character at a time. I don't do any look a head right now, I just read the character then depending on the current state try to do something with that. I'd really like to get into the mind set of writing reusable snippets of code. This Transition method is currently means to do that, it will pop the current state of the stack and then push the arguments in reverse order. That way, when I write Transition(ParserState.SubIdent, ParserState.Init) it will "call" a sub routine SubIdent which will, when complete, return to the Init state. The parser will be implemented in much the same way, currently, having everyhing in a single big method like this allows me to easily return a token when I found one, but it also forces me to keep everything in one single big method. Is there a nice way to split these tokenization rules into seperate methods? Any input/advice on the matter would be greatly appriciated!

  • Is it possible to restore a previous GL framebuffer?

    Hi there, I'm working on an iPhone app that lets the user draw using GL. I used the GLPaint sample code project as a firm foundation, but now I want to add the ability for the user to load one of their previous drawings and continue working on it. I know how to get the framebuffer contents and save it as a UIImage. Is there a way for me to take the UIImage and tell GL to draw that? Any help is much appreciated.

  • Calling COM Library From XBAP

    I am trying to call an old COM library from my XBAP and continue to receive the following exception: System.AccessViolationException was unhandled Message: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. I have tried adding the HKLM value for RunUnrestricted to no avail. I don't get anything else but this error when calling the library. Any ideas? (This library even works from a pure ASP.NET app)

    I use application.spark file for master page In my app i have login page that does not need master page I tried remove master page from my login page using this tag , but it continue to use application.spark I can fix it by adding new master page in layout folder with name blank.spark file without any code and in my login page put this tag . looks too ugly, so I'm asking you if you know another option to fix this issue?   • Debugging a Visual Studio 2020 extension or addin, always gives me LoaderLock...

    Title says it all. I'm trying to write an extension for VS2010, but I get this every time: Hit F5 to start debugging A new instance of visual studio starts up I can see a bunch of DLLs loading in the debug host while the new instance is starting It then fails with a "LoaderLock". When I continue after that, the new instance is fully functional, but there's no debugging happening at all. The same happens when creating an addin. Any clues?

    Im reading in 2 csv file: store_inventory & new_acquisitions... I want to be able to compare the store_inventory csv file with new_acquisitions. 1) If the item names match just update the quantity in store_inventory. 2) If new_acquisitions has a new item that does not exist in store_inventory, then add it to the store_inventory.   • renderInContext creating memory that is not promptly released

    While debugging in instruments using 'ObjectAlloc' I'm noticing 7megs of memory being allocated for the renderInContext call, but it never is released. When I comment out the renderInContext call this doesn't happen, and future renderInContext calls does not continue to increase the memory allotment.
