• Git fails when pushing commit to github

  I cloned a git repo that I have hosted on github to my laptop. I was able to successfully push a couple of commits to github without problem. However, now I get the following error: Compressing objects: 100% (792/792), done. error: RPC failed; result=22, HTTP code = 411 Writing objects: 100% (1148/1148), 18.79 MiB | 13.81 MiB/s, done. Total 1148 (delta 356), reused 944 (delta 214) From here it just hangs and I finally have to ^C back to the terminal.

• Load nsimage from url but only some url's work

  I have some code that loads an image file off the web and puts it in an image view. The problem is it works with everything but Google Charts. This is frustrating because I was relying on this to graph data for my app. Heres the url I need to load: Click to see my test chart. Im not sure why NSImage seems to refuse to load this when it works with everything elese. If you know why or have a work-around any help is appreciated.   file_get_contents() is returning "failed to open stream" when I call it on a Facebook oAuth access_token URL. Warning: file_get_contents(https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/access_token?client_id=XXXXX&redirect_uri=http://mydomain.com/fb/callback3.php&client_secret=xxxx&code=YYYY) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No error in E:\\htdocs\fb\callback3.php on line 5 (I have removed ClientID, clientSecret and the oAuth Code). If I try to manually hit the Facebook access_token URL that my code is attempting to fetch, I get an actual payload returned in the browser: access_token=XYZ&expires=6508 (where XYZ is the access token) So for some reason, there is a problem with the access_token URL specifically when used with file_get_contents(). At first, I thought it was a security issue with my webhoster, but I have verified with phpinfo() that allow url open is indeed allowed. I have also tried this code and verified it works: $foo = file_get_contents('http://google.com'); echo $foo Anyone have any ideas why file_get_contents() is failing with the Facebook access_token URL?

• Microsoft Reporting 2005 and Report Viewer Report ASP.Net Session Has Expired on Load

  At my job, I have been tasked with fixing an error with our reporting server. That error is ASP.Net Session Has Expired. This error occurs when the Visual Studio ReportViewer 2005 Control attempts to load a report. We are trying to host this report to users hitting our Internet exposed Windows 2003 Server running IIS 6.0. The reportviewer control is attempting to load this report from a second server running Microsoft SQL 2005 w/Reporting Services. The SQL server is not exposed to the Internet. Here is the weird thing. This error never occurs on the development box. When it is transferred to the production IIS server, the error starts to occur. It only happens every time the report is first loaded. If the browser's refresh button is clicked 5-10 times, the report will finally load correctly. I have reproduced this same error on the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, IE 7, and IE 8. The report only takes 10-20 seconds to load. I have tried timeouts in the 300+ second range on the reporting server/iis production server. I have tried a few options like Async (which causes images not to load properly) and setting the session mode to iproc with a high timeout value in the Reporting Server's web.config. I have also tried using the reporting server's IP address in the report viewer's code instead of the server name. I plan on verifying a picture loading issue which I also read about tomorrow when I get into work. I am unsure what service packs Visual Studio 2005 and the MSSQL server are running. Was an update released to fix this problem that I could not find? Does anyone have a fix for this?

• load class not in classpath dynamically in web application - without using custom classloader

  I am developing a web application. The web application generates java classes on the fly. For example it generates class com.people.Customer.java In my code, I dynamically compile this to get com.people.Customer.class and store in some directory say repository/com/people/Customer.class which is not on the classpath of my application server.My application server(I am using WebSphere Application Server/Apache Tomcat etc) picks up the classes from the WEB-INF/classes directory. The Classloader would use this to load the classes. After compilation I need to load this class so that it becomes accessible to other classes using it after its creation. 4.When I use Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader().loadClass(com.people.Customer) obviously the Classloader is not able to load the class, since its not on the classpath(not in WEB-INF/classes). Due to similar reasons, getResource(..) or getResourceAsStream(..) also does not work. I need a way to : Read the class Customer.class maybe as a stream (or any other way would do) and then load it. Following are the constraints: I cannot add the repository folder to the WEB-INF/classes folder. I cannot create a new Custom ClassLoader. If I create a new ClassLoader and this loads the class, it will not be accessible to its parent ClassLoader. Is there any way of achieving this? If not this, in the worse case, is there a way of overriding the default class loader with a custom class loader for web applications the same classloader should be used to load applications throughout entire lifecycle of my web application. Appreciate any solution :)

  We have Failed Request Tracing working on IIS7.5 (Windows 2008 Server Core) and our rule has ASP.NET checked off and verbose logging set. However, on many googled screenshots of what a typical failed request trace looks like, we see the actual duration of each subpart in milliseconds shown to the right of the word verbose on the "request details" tab. Viewing our XML in IE shows no such thing to the right of the word verbose. Furthermore, The "Performance View" tab is blank; so no help viewing the durations there either. Is there something we need to enable? What gives?

  The .load() function of the jQuery library allows you to selectively load elements from another page (subject to certain rules). I would like to know whether it is possible to abort the load process. In our application, a user can browse a list of items. They may choose to click a button which loads and displays additional information about an item from another document (which can take some time). If they choose a different item in the list whilst a .load() is still happening, I would like the loading to be aborted. Is this possible? Is it even worth it? Any ideas? Dan

• Strong name validation failed on VB.NET Assembly

  I have a VB.Net 1.1 application works just fine after compiling in Visual Studio. However, I want to use ILMerge to combine all the referenced assemblies into a single executable just to make it easier to move around. After I send it through ILMerge and try to run it I get the error "Strong name validation failed for .exe" ..... But none of my stuff is strong named! I saw this post here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/403731/strong-name-validation-failed and tried running it through 'sn.exe -Vr .exe' but that gives me this error: ".exe does not represent a strongly named assembly" Has anyone else had this problem before? How do I fix it?

  I found the problem about combobox dropdown list in AS2 swf file. My scenario is: There are multiple swf file that was compile from ActionScript2.0 and use Flex to load those swf files in swfLoader component. There are two issue that I found and can't solve it: 1. When I load multiple as2.0 swf file in one flex application the first file that was load will work perfectly but the second and so on file have problem. When I click in their combobox component the dropdown list was not show. 2. swf file that was not first load have problem with popup window also. When the popup was show they can't work properly, I can't make any operation on it such as click button, close popup etc. I solve it by add the empty content AS2.0 swf file in flex to be first swf file that was load and it make something weird happen: When I click button on combobox the dropdown list was appear but it appear on position (x:0, y:0) of its container. I also add the code: this._lockroot = true; in every ActionScript2.0 code but it not solve the problem. I don't know the source of problem. Please help me. Thank.

  I'm writing my first C# web application that connects to an XML based service. It requires that I present a certificate and feed the XML stream. It seems to authenticate properly but then it gives the following error: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 10.1.10.4:3128 The funny thing is that I'm not on a proxy or anything like that. I'm connecting directly to the internet. At one point I we did use a proxy that with internal NAT address. So my question is: Does Visual Studio have some sort of default proxy setting that I need to change? • VB.net Net after load event?

  I need some way of knowing when a form has finished loading. My reasoning is I have a 2nd form that is loaded when this form loads. The code for this is called from form1.load. Form2 is currently being displayed behind form1 as I am guessing form1 calls an activate or similar at the end of the load so any Activate, BringToFront etc calls on from2 are over ridden. If you look at the code below I have tried adding frmAllocationSearch.Activate, frmAllocationSearch.BringToFront and Me.SendToBack after the call to ShowAlloactionSearchDialog() but these are all wasted as something is happening after the load event is fired to bring Me to the front. • how to: dynamically load google ajax api into chrome extension content script

  Hi there, I'm trying to make use of google's ajax apis in a chorme extension's "content script". On a regular html page, I would just do this: <script src="http://www.google.com/jsapi"></script> <script> google.load("language", "1"); </script> But since I'm trying to load the tranlation library dynamically from js code, I've tried: script = document.createElement("script"); script.src = "http://www.google.com/jsapi"; script.type = "text/javascript"; document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(script); google.load('language','1') but the last line throws the following error: Uncaught TypeError: Object # has no method 'load' Funny enough, when i enter the same "google.load('language','1')" in chrome's js console, it works as intended... • TTRequestLoader always raises "TTDASSERT failed: _cacheKey == request.cacheKey"

  I run the TTCatalog application from the Three20 library and encountered this error when click on the "Photo Thumbnails" of the "Three20 Catalog": TTDASSERT failed: _cacheKey == request.cacheKey I look at the breakpoint and see that it is on line 119 of TTRequestLoader.m of the method addRequest. I know that it failed to do the assertion of the cacheKey, but why this error appears even on the sample application, does anyone encounter the same error? What is the workaround of this? Thanks, P/S: I downloaded the Three20 from the git directory just yesterday. So I assume this be the newest one.

  I'm getting the following error when trying to deploy a ZIP file to a remote FTP server. I tried connecting to the server using an FTP client (filezilla) and all goes well. Also, when connecting to a public ftp like ftp.belnet.be connections work fine. I'm trying to send the file to a VSFTPD server behind a router using port forwarding. Again, this works fine from any location using Filezilla, phing is not connecting though... • Visual Studio 2010 failed tests throw exceptions

  In VisualStudio2010 Ultimate RC I cannot figure out how to suppress {"CollectionAssert.AreEqual failed. (Element at index 0 do not match.)"} from Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.AssertFailedException If i Ctrl+Alt+E I get the exception dialog; however that exception doesn't seem to be in there to be suppressed. Does anyone else have any experience with this? I don't remember having to suppress these Assert fails in studio 2008 when running unit tests. My tests would fail and I could just click on the TestResults to see which tests failed instead of fighting through these dialogs. For now I guess I'll just run my tests through the command window.

  Apparently the implementation of Assembly.Load() in Silverlight needs a full/strong name. E.g. this works: Assembly.Load("MyAssembly, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=..."); while this will fail even if MyAssembly is already loaded: Assembly.Load("MyAssembly"); Is there a workaround so that it's possible to use the simple name?

• In Lisp, Avoid "Cannot open load file" when using require

  I am working on a custom .emacs file that I will be able to use on several different computers. I would like to be able to load a mode if it exists on the system. If it does not exist I would like Emacs to stop showing the error: File error: Cannot open load file, X. For example: (require 'darkroom-mode) Results in: File error: Cannot open load file, darkroom-mode I am using file-exists-p to test if certain other files exist but for this test I would assume I need to search my load-path. I am new to Lisp so this is stumping me.
