  • Remove robot as an editor of a blip

    I have a Google Wave robot which makes changes to some blip content depending on what a user inputs. When this edit is made, the robot is listed in the blip as one of the people who have edited it (so shows its Avatar and robot name). I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible (and if so how), to stop the robot being listed as an editor (either by it not happening in the first place, or removing it afterwards).

  • Grails gdoc editor support (esp IntelliJ)

    Since Grails 1.2 there's a documentation engine included: gdoc. The documentation's syntax is based on the Textile format. Is there some editor support for this? My first choice would be a plugin for IntelliJ, second option on for vim or gedit. Any hints welcome. I am totally a aware that the format is very simple by itself but having code coloring and content assist would be really nice.

But for Ruby on Rails, it's autocomplete feature is continuously in my way and ROR's standardization on 2 space tabs does not play well with Coda's settings. I've been going back to TextMate for ROR work, but was wondering if there were better options.

    I've got some JSON data, but it's all on one line. Does anyone know of a web or Windows editor that will format (e.g. indent and insert new lines) this data for me, so I can read it better? Preferably one that uses a GUI to display the JSON—instead of a command-line tool that outputs a reformatted document, for example.

    I am using the Mac OS X Apple Script Editor and (while debugging) instead of writing a lot of display dialog statements, I'd like to write the results of some calculation in the window below, called "Result" (I have the German UI here, so the translation is a guess). So is there a write/print statement that I can use for putting messages in the "standard out" window? I am not asking to put the messages in a logfile on the file system, it is purely temporary.

  • Cannot change the height of a combo box in the VS Dialog Editor

    Any combo box I create seems to be stuck at 12 dialog units in height. Microsoft's guidelines for spacing and sizing of controls in dialog boxes state that a combo box should be 14 dialog units high. I have even tried editing the resource file in notepad and recompiling in Visual Studio without opening the resource editor - but the combo boxes are still the wrong size! Any ideas?

    Hey all so i wehnt ahead and opened up my .gitconfig file and manually input the [core] editor = 'C:/Program Files/Notepad++/notepad++.exe' which would allow me to execute command: (im trying to setup my .gitignore list) "C:/Program Files/Notepad++/notepad++.exe" .gitignore im JUSt not interested in typing this out every time that i need to make a file SO ive heard something about editing PATH to allow me to replace the above with something like: npp .gitignore any help would be aprpeciated!

    Hey all, I'm looking for a HTML editor which can be (easiliy) integrated in a RoR app that has the possibility to create forms. Not forms per se, but I need the possibility to add radiobuttons, input fields, checkboxes and so on. I loved the smoothness of TinyMCE, but apparently this doesn't take me far enough.   • Eclipse/CDT editor not picking up project-defined symbols in coloring ifdef'ed out sections

    The problem I'm seeing is that under preferences, C/C++ Defined symbols for different Configurations/targets aren't showing up in the code coloring. When I change the active build configuration in the project menu, I would expect the editor & code coloring to pick up the symbols from the project settings, but it only seems to be picking up the symbols for one of the targets. Is there any way to have the code coloring for ifdef'ed code follow the active build configuration?

    Hi, I want to write a simple text editor for iPhone with syntax highlighting support for c,c++. But the problem is, I dont't know how to do this. The first solution I was thinking about, was to go over the text and highlight keywords when the value of the UITextView has changed, but I think that if I got more than 1000lines of code that doesn't work very well.     Hi all, I am doing some improvements to an application in vs2008 in c++. When i try to edit resources (for example add an entry in the string table), the vs2008 editor changes the rc file language from LANG_ENGLISH to LANG_NEUTRAL and a non english text is replaced with question marks. If i edit the rc file externally (in notepad), and then load it to the vs2008 it works fine. can anybody help me solve this? thanks Shimon

    Hellow, I have a database where you can select articles etc, users have an account, it's all in mysql and php (i guess you don't need that code). What i was wondering was how to write a script that allows users to pay online for the articles they selected? It doesn't need to be any code, just ideas / hints / tips / ...
