• throws SecurityException when signing with the default debug keystore

  I am receiving a SecurityException since yesterday when I launch the service using signature protection level for permission with the default debug keystore. The strange thing is I wasn't receiving this error before yesterday and I didn't make any security related change. On the other hand, my own keystore using for releases is still working good. • Sphinx failed to read searchd response

  I have strange behavior of Sphinx searchd. I used it with Python standard client on ubuntu 9.10 For same query it's can give normal response or can give broken package like this: failed to read searchd response (status=0,ver=1,len=278,read=72) this problem appears with 50% probability. I have test index with only 5 documents and default config. Will be grateful for help)

• NSTableViewCell uses value from other cells

  Hi Guys: I have problem with using dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier method. Whenever I use this one, one cell would display its own value and value that does not belong to it. This first and second images show the problem, while the third image shows the proper data.The problem seems to be caused by old value not being wiped off and the new value being added on top if it. Which seems very strange.

• Joomla poll not working with IE

  On my joomla wensite the joomla poll extension (down,right) or any other joomla poll only works in Firefox,Safari and all the other browser but not in IE8 or lower versions. I need a poll on my site and 95% of my site visiters use IE8, its fustrating. How can i get any joomla poll to work in IE8 ? Its strange but IE8 displays the poll good,like Firefox, but you can't vote with it ? Is there anyone who can help ? Fred

• Howto monitor traffic between IIS and MSSQL

  Hello @all, i try to check how much traffic flows between MSSQL Server and IIS Server in different Locations. There are 1 ipcop in every Location and i download the tcpdump file from one Firewall and search for DST=ipmssql and SRC=ipIIS but i did not find the ip from the Database Server. But there are traffic between both. Any suggestions why i did not find the IP Adress from the MSSQL Server? Is this an configuration failure in IPCop or is the Traffic between ISS and MSSQL so strange :-) Regards Rene

• Is the foobar:finished:context: method of UIView animations delegate really giving a BOOL for finish

  Althoug I read everywhere that the method signature has a BOOL for finished, I do never get a false. It is always true. And now the strange thing: When I NSLog that out with %d, it is always either 32 or 40. Other BOOLs I have are either 1 or 0. That makes no sense. So: Not a bool, right? What's that instead, really?

• Does anyone here uses PHP-GTK? Is there a better alternative?

  I had made some questions regarding php-gtk(there are only 4 php-gtk tagged questions and 3 are mine) and I end up answering myself because no one answer them. I know is a strange language selection but I was attracted to it because it runs on several OS's and the fact that I can reuse some of my code (also the apps end up looking good and I can make little installers in NSIS that just rocks). Is there a better alternative, that is free(as freedom) and can run on several platforms?

  Hi http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2709245/ajax-without-updatepanel/2709262#2709262 I tried to use these methodologies to remove UpdatePanel from application, I have a page with search keyword which call the PageMethods and I load the user control manually and render it then place rendering output to the page, but something strange happen, while search results is 100 and there is DataPager in the user control, the data pager did not appear, and also only one element appear, it looks that ItemTemplate did not resolve more than once. What is chances ??

  I have inherited a SSIS project. I have never worked with SSIS before, and the one thing that seems strange to me, is that there is no way to manage multiple configurations. For each SSIS package we have 3 delpoyment environments, DEV, UAT and PRODUCTION. At the moment I am having to edit the configuration for every package we deploy manually for each change (and there are a lot of packages). Does anyone know of a more graceful way to handle these configuration changes?

  I found some strange problem in WPF, using the itemsSource of a treeview. I hope I can make this specific problem clear for you. First; a story. There is a treeview. It has a list with treeviewitems as itemsSource. This list is called _roots. There is another list, called _leafs. For as in a treeview, the _roots contain the _leafs in some hierarchical way. For example: <TreeviewItem Header="Jungle"> <TreeviewItem> <SpecialTreeviewItem Header="Monkey"/> <SpecialTreeviewItem Header="Apple"/> </TreeviewItem> </TreeviewItem> Now I am trying to switch between these two lists as itemsSource. It seemed to work fine, but it doesn't: When the Jungle-item is un-expanded, and I change the itemsSource to _leafs, and change it back again to _roots, everything works fine and all items can be expanded and showed. But when the Jungle-item is expanded (and the special items are already visible) and I change it to the _leafs itemsSource, and then change the itemsSource back to _roots, all special items have disappeared!! Also, when I do the same as case 2, but first un-expand the Jungle-item again, the special items also disappear. I did a lot of debugging, before posting this question here and come to the following conclusion: Printing on the event: visibility changed, the visibility is set to false for all items that were already visible (that is, when _roots become visible, the special items become invisible (because they were already visible)) So, IsVisible is false for the items, but Visibility = Visible. Which is a bit strange. The problem seems to depend on the use of the _roots list, which in a certain way contain the _leafs. When I change the itemsSource to different lists with special items in it, everything works fine. The hierarchical structure of the _roots make this thing broken. I hope that this is a complete overview of my problem. Help would be appreciated.

• Eclipse RCP and JFace: Problems with Images in Context menu and TreeViewer

  I'm working on an Eclipse RCP application. Today I experienced some troubles when displaying images in the context menu. What I wanted to do is to add a column to my table containing images of stars for representing a user rating. On Windows, this causes some problems, since the star images are squeezed up on the left corner of the table cell instead of expanding on the whole cell, but I'll solve that somehow. In addition I have a context menu on the table, with an entry called "rate" where again the different stars from 1 to 5 (representing the rating level) are shown, such that the user can click on it for choosing different ratings. That works fine on Windows. Now I switched to Linux (Ubuntu) to see how it works out there, and strangely, the stars in the table cell are layed out perfectly, while the stars on the context menu don't even show up.   Hi A Flash program is connecting to WCF web service hosted on a server without anti-virus and without firewall and windows server 2003 64 bit environment. The flash return Connection failed message When I sniffer it I found that the Flash program cannot find these requests, http://IP:2805/BLL.svc?xsd=xsd1 http://IP:2805/BLL.svc?xsd=xsd0 The strange thing is that the service work fine with asp.net. also the same service deployed on another server, just work fine!! Is there a work around. Thanks

Rationale: Swip wants to generate ordinary PHP code because it is so ubiquitous for the types of projects swip wants to do. Unfortunately swip would like to actually avoid writing PHP -- strange but true! Swip is crazy enough to want to generate PHP source code without having to type any PHP into Swip's editor.
