• Can't create blob container on Azure Blob Storage

  The following code throws an error on the "CreateIfNotExist" method call. I am attempting to connect to my Azure Blob storage and create a new container called "images" var storageAccount = new CloudStorageAccount( new StorageCredentialsAccountAndKey("my_account_name", "... my shared key ..."), "https://blob.core.windows.net/", "https://queue.core.windows.net/", "https://table.core.windows.net/" ); var blobClient = storageAccount.CreateCloudBlobClient(); var blobContainer = blobClient.GetContainerReference("images"); blobContainer.CreateIfNotExist(); The error is: [StorageClientException: The requested URI does not represent any resource on the server.] The "images" container does not exist but I was expecting it to be created instead of an error to be thrown. What am I doing wrong? I have tried HTTP instead of HTTPS but the result is the same error.

• SIMPLE OpenSSL RSA Encryption in C/C++ is causing me headaches

  Hey guys, I'm having some trouble figuring out how to do this. Basically I just want a client and server to be able to send each other encrypted messages. This is going to be incredibly insecure because I'm trying to figure this all out so I might as well start at the ground floor. So far I've got all the keys working but encryption/decryption is giving me hell. I'll start by saying I am using C++ but most of these functions require C strings so whatever I'm doing may be causing problems. Note that on the client side I receive the following error in regards to decryption. error:04065072:rsa routines:RSA_EAY_PRIVATE_DECRYPT:padding check failed I don't really understand how padding works so I don't know how to fix it. Anywho here are the relevant variables on each side followed by the code. I am using icinga-web to monitor my hosts. For the moment, I have just my localhost, and all is perfect.   I am trying to write a simple program to combine coefficient and standard error estimates from a set of regression fits. I run, say, 5 regressions, and store the coefficient(s) and standard error(s) of interest into vectors (Stata matrix objects, actually). Then, I need to do the following: Find the mean value of the coefficient estimates. Combine the standard error estimates according to the formula suggested for combining results from "multiple imputation". The formula is the square root of the formula for "T" on page 6 of the following document: http://bit.ly/b05WX3 I have written Stata code that does this once, but I want to write this as a function (or "program", in Stata speak) that takes as arguments the vector (or matrix, if possible, to combine multiple estimates at once) of regression coefficient estimates and the vector (or matrix) of corresponding standard error estimates, and then generates 1 and 2 above.   I've run into a problem trying to return an object that holds a collection of childobjects that again can hold a collection of grandchild objects. I get an error, 'connection forcibly closed by host'. Is there any way to make this work? I currently have a structure resembling this: pseudo code: Person: IEnumerable<Order> Order: IEnumberable<OrderLine> All three objects have the DataContract attribute and all public properties i want exposed (including the IEnumerable's) have the DataMember attribute. I have multiple OperationContract's on my service and all the methods returning a single object OR an IEnumerable of an object works perfectly. It's only when i try to nest IEnumerable that it turns bad. Also in my client service reference i picked the generic list as my collection type. I just want to emphasize, only one of my operations/methods fail with this error - the rest of them work perfectly. EDIT (more detailed error description): [SocketException (0x2746): An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host] [IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.] [WebException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.] [CommunicationException: An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to http://myservice.mydomain.dk/MyService.svc. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.] I tried looking for logs but i can't find any... also i'm using a WSHttpBinding and an http endpoint.

  Hey! I have browsed every Google result, read all the forum posts about this error, but I cannot solve it. When using PECL install for anything, I always end up getting this error: checking whether the C compiler works... configure: error: cannot run C compiled programs. Everything else succeeds up to that point them bam! I'm using CentOS 4.3, PEAR is the latest stable version, GCC is a stable and recent version. Everything is working as it should, but the C compiler always seems to error. I've tried to make tmp have the right privilages for the operation by temporarily enabling it using: mount -o remount,exec,suid /tmp But that doesn't work. I've literally tried everything that has been suggested by to no avail. Any ideas?

  I have some code grabbing a JSON array from my server and initially storing it as a string. This all works fine until I try and deserialize it using google's gson fromJson method. • Postfix "warning: cannot get RSA private key from file"

  I just followed this tutorial to set up a postfix mailserver with dovecot and mysql as backend for virtual users. Now I got the most parts working, I can connect to pop3 pop3s imap and imaps. Using echo TEST-MAIL | mail [email protected] works fine, when I log into my hotmail account it shows the email. It also works in reverse hence my MX entry for mydomain.com finally has been propagated, so I am being able to receive emails sent from [email protected] to [email protected] and view them in Thunderbird using STARTTLS via IMAP. Doing a bit more research after I got the error message "5.7.1 : Relay access denied" when trying to send mails to [email protected] using Thunderbird being logged into [email protected], I figured out that my server was acting as an "Open Mail Relay", which - ofcourse - is a bad thing. Digging more into the optional parts of the tutorial like shown workaround.org/comment/2536 and workaround.org/ispmail/squeeze/postfix-smtp-auth I decided to complete these steps aswell to be able to send mails via [email protected] through Mozilla Thunderbird, not getting the error message "5.7.1 : Relay access denied" anymore (as common mailservers reject open relayed emails). The certificate/key check via openssl did show that both files are valid. So it indeed has been a permissions problem! Didn't know that chown'ing the /etc/ssl/*/postfix.pem files to postfix:postfix is not enough for postfix to read the files.

• How to provide stl like container with public const iterator and private non-const iterator?

  Hello, I am deriving a class privately from std::list and wish to provide public begin() and end() for const_iterator and private begin() and end() for just plain iterator. However, the compiler is seeing the private version and complaining that it is private instead of using the public const version. I understand that C++ will not overload on return type (in this case const_iterator and iterator) and thus it is choosing the non-const version since my object is not const. Short of casting my object to const before calling begin() or not overloading the name begin is there a way to accomplish this? First off, Im using AsyncSocket(http://code.google.com/p/cocoaasyncsocket/) which lets me connect to the host. • Binding a member signal to a function

  This line of code compiles correctly without a problem: boost::bind(boost::ref(connected_), boost::dynamic_pointer_cast<session<version> >(shared_from_this()), boost::asio::placeholders::error); However when assigning it to a boost::function or as a callback like this: socket_->async_connect(connection_->remote_endpoint(), boost::bind(boost::ref(connected_), boost::dynamic_pointer_cast<session<version> >(shared_from_this()), boost::asio::placeholders::error)); I'm getting a whole bunch of incomprehensible errors (linked since it's too long to fit here). On the other hand I have succeeded binding a free signal to a boost::function like this: void print(const boost::system::error_code& error) { cout << "session connected"; } int main() { boost::signal<void(const boost::system::error_code &)> connected_; connected_.connect(boost::bind(&print, boost::asio::placeholders::error)); client<>::connection_t::socket_ptr socket_(new client<>::connection_t::socket_t(conn->service())); // shared_ptr of a tcp socket socket_->async_connect(conn->remote_endpoint(), boost::bind(boost::ref(connected_), boost::asio::placeholders::error)); conn->service().run(); // io_service.run() return 0; } This works and prints session connected correctly.
