• Which design pattern should be used to create an emulator?

  I have programmed an emulator, but I have some doubts about how to organizate it properly, because, I see that it has some problems about classes connection (CPU <- Machine Board). • How to Validate Pasted Dates in Excel

  I want to validate pasted dates to remove /'s and ensure the year is 4 digits and when users paste them in it overwrites my excel validation. So, If a user pastes 05/19/10 into a cell, I would like it to convert to 05192010 or at least give an error if this is not possible. I don't know enough VB to add sheet-wide code that does this and I'm not sure if it would work when users paste multiple cells at a time.

  If I have a pair of floats, is it any more efficient (computationally or storage-wise) to store them as a GeoPtProperty than it would be pickle the tuple and store it as a BlobProperty? If GeoPt is doing something more clever to keep multiple values in a single property, can it be leveraged for arbitrary data? Can I store the tuple ("Johnny", 5) in a single entity property in a similarly efficient manner?

  Here's the scenario: Many users access an application (running on tomcat), the user's data is segmented into multiple databases, say each db containing 1000 user's data. Now is it somehow possible to have 100s of tomcat servers running on 'inexpensive' PC class machines with each connecting to a single db, with user's session getting passed to appropriate tomcat and becoming 'Sticky' there. Can have some sort of 'gateway' deciding which user goes where and doing the load-balancing appropriately. Would make a great scalability solution :)

I have it working using crossContext="true" rewriting to a different servlet on the same tomcat instance, but our production server has multiple tomcat instances running and I want to rewrite to one of them instead?   Hi, I have this device that sends XML data to a webserver in format as follows POST HTTP/1.1 Content-Type:text/xml Content-Length:369 Followed by XML The problem here is that apache simply sends 400 error for this and does not work. Is there anyway to create netcat to read xml and send to php? Any other solution welcome! Is it better to run php to listen to Port? in that case will multiple requests at the same time work?
