• GAE Django template and swedish characters

  Hi, I'm trying to render templates of an html-page that contains swedish characters "åäö" but when it renders in the web browser it ends up with "?". The page renders in UTF-8. Is there any way to workaround this or do I need to write the chars as html-code? Also any pointers to the best support for multi-lang site? ..fredrik

• Time.now & Created_at are different? Ruby on Rails

  My site is deployed on heroku. Time.now will return today, but the created_at field of a record (created right now) will say its tomorrow. I assume this has to do with server time? Is there a way to make sure they're the same? Best, Elliot

• Good Package for Fitting Polynomial Trend Lines

  Given a simple data set, I would like to be able to calculate a trending formula given it's a second order polynomial regression. In fact, it would be great if one could even forecast X periods during calculation (similar to what Excel does). I'm looking for a portable C/C++ package that's relatively easy to use, and allows it to spit out the "best-fit" (highest R^2 value) curve. Any suggestions? Thanks!

• How can I compile an iPhone App with Flash CS5 without a Developer License

  I understand Flash CS5 isn't the best way to make an app, but I'd really like to test out the apps I've made with it on my iPhone. Has anyone come up with a way to modify Flash CS5 so it doesn't require a Developer Certificate or Provisioning Profile (like the way you would modify Xcode so you can compile apps without paying $99 for the developer program)? • Map /dev/bus/usb node to /sys node on Linux

  I'm using libusb to find and access a USB device, but once I get the information I need from there, I need to map it to a /sys node. This could be to the actual USB bus it's on, the /sys/bus/usb-serial node (which is where I'm going to get eventually), or effectively anywhere else since I can walk the tree from there. I can get to a /dev/bus/usb node easily enough, but I'm a bit lost from there. What would be the best route to perform this mapping?

Is there any existing scripts that may help me, which checks if the files have been modified after the date of the last backup, and only backs up files created / modified after that? I thought I could hook the 'outgoing' hook, but this creates a infinite loop that isn't pretty. • When a popover row is selected, how is - (void)setDetailItem:(id)newDetailItem called??

  I've created a TabBar application and in one of the views I'm using a popover. The view is registered for UIPopoverControllerDelegate but that doesn't do it. The popover is a completely different view controller and xib. When the user selects a row in the popover, control goes to the popovercontroller.m method - (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath Any help would be appreciated.
