  • Morphing from an image to a shape in Silverlight 3

    Hi, I have a requirement to morph from an image (png) to a shape (polygon) in Silverlight 3 as an effect, but of course there is no built in transition or method to do this. At the moment the best I have is fade one out and the other in, but can anyone suggest a decent alternative that may work or look better? Regards Moo

  • Java Connections netstat -ano

    I am new to java and I have been testing my application all day long. I just did netstat -ano and it gave me a huge listing of active connections (listening, established) does this mean when i close my appliation these connections are not being shutdown (close())? here is a screenshot: any advise on how to go about closing the connection when im done with it? i am trying to close the connection best to my knowledge but it appears im not doing enough. thanks for your time.

    Hi I want to get a bunch of dom-objects with xpath and loop through those to check if they contains a specified text, is this possible in the Selenium IDE or rc? Perl is my prefered language XPath would be something like xpath=//tbody[@class='table-data']/tr/td/div[@class='table-item'] This would return all row items in the table, but i need to check each div if contains a specified text string.   • iPhone + OpenGL. How Do I Correctly Switch From Landscape to Portrait?

    Because of the additional complexity of drawing via an EAGLView vs. a UIView I was wondering of someone has found a robust way to handle changing the device orientation from Landscape to Portrait. One approach is to tear down the framebuffer and rebuild from scratch which would require saving/retrieving scene state. The other would be far simpler: just rotate and resize the view.
