• Fluent NHibernate Map Enum as Lookup Table

  I have the following (simplified) public enum Level { Bronze, Silver, Gold } public class Member { public virtual Level MembershipLevel { get; set; } } public class MemberMap : ClassMap<Member> { Map(x => x.MembershipLevel); } This creates a table with a column called MembershipLevel with the value as the Enum string value. What I want is for the entire Enum to be created as a lookup table, with the Membe table referencing this with the integer value as the FK. Also, I want to do this without bas***izing my model. Any ideas? [And I want time machine] [With 2 cup holders]

During this phase, the expression merely accesses the value of name from the customer bean, as is done in immediate evaluation. For a postback request, the JavaServer Faces implementation evaluates the expression at different phases of the lifecycle, during which the value is retrieved from the request, validated, and propagated to the customer bean. I am not sure I understand initial request vs postback request. Does the client browser make two different request to the webserver?

  I am using AutoMapper to datareader using code as discussed below http://elegantcode.com/2009/10/16/mapping-from-idatareaderidatarecord-with-automapper/ I see it being very flakky...and unpredictable. 1) Same code with same datareader at times brings value back to the dto result set and at times doesnot. 2) I have an ID value coming from database as 100, 200. When it maps to the DTO that is of type integer this 100 is changed to a large value (like 234343211). Any ideas on why am I seeing this inconsitency. Should I be using the standard while (reader.Read())? and stop using automapper?

  I am having difficulties to use my custom IComparer for my SortedDictionary<. The goal is to put email addresses in a specific format ([email protected]) as the key, and sort by last name. • PreferenceActivity and theme not applying

  Hi all I have set the theme in the manifest file like this: android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Light" But I have a problem in the Preferences Activity, in the main preferences the theme shows ok, but if I get to a sub preference, the theme gets messy, it is not white as it should, it is all dark, and the font is black so you can't see much, and when I start clicking on any items they will get sometimes white as they should but revert to black soon after. This is only happens on 2.1, in both the real device and emulator. Tested on the emulator running 1.6 and it was working correctly. • [C#/WPF] Combo box Item source = ObservableCollection & I need a '-None-' dummy entry at the top

  I have a combo box using an observable collection as a datasource and I want a "dummy" value of "None" as the first item in the box as it controls filters against other data sources. Other databound objects also use the same observable collection so adding a "None" value directly to the datasource is not possible as I dont want, for example, my datagrids having a "none" in them. Also I'd rather avoid filters to just remove the "none" value for those that do not use it, as I'd like the observable collection to direclty reflect the database data; if at all possible. I'd also like to avoid having one observable collection per databound control. What I'm really after is a was to put a, non data bound, first entry into a combobox while also having the item source pointed at an obervable collection. Thanks

• Autonumber with Entity Framework

  I want to loop through a collection of objects and add them all to a table. The destination table has an auto-increment field. If I add a single object there is no problem. If I add two objects both with the primary key of zero, the entity framework fails. I can manually specify primary keys but the whole point of trying the EF was to make life easier not more complicated.   Hi, I have a unexpected problem. I had create a war with grails war. Then I had deployed in Tomcat. For my surprise the crud works fine but I don't know what persistence is using. So I did this test: Compare grails prod run-app with grails prod run-war. The first works fine, and does conect with the mysql database. The other don't. • django modelformset - one form per related table row

  Hello, I have two models: class Model1(): name = CharField() url = CharField() class Model2(): model1 = ForeignKey(Model1) user = ForeignKey(User) zzz = CharField() There are 5 rows for model1 in the database, these are fixed and will rarely change. I need to display a formset for model2 that allows users to enter the zzz value, the formset must always show one form per row in the model1 table, the label for each form in the formset must be the name of the related model1. If the user deletes a model2 in the formset the next time the page loads it will render an empty zzz value for that form and the user must be able to edit the previous zzz value - meaning it must be pre populated with all model2 rows associated with the user. The idea is to print each row in the model1 table as a form instead of the user selecting the related model1 name in a select box. I know its not that complicated, but I'm seriously stumped and keep going round in circles!! Many thanks in advance. • VS2010, MSDeploy and declaration of parameters

  Hi I'm trying to deploy an ASP.NET MVC 2 app using MSDeploy. I use VS2010 to generate the package as a ZIP. Inside that ZIP is a parameters.xml file that declares the parameters that I can set. I want to be able to set more parameters, using the auto-generated deploy.cmd file like this: MySite.deploy.cmd "-setParam:name='IIS Web Application Name',value=MySite" "-setParam:name=IisVirtualDirectoryPhysicalPath,value=C:\inetpub\MySite" "-setParam:name=httpBinding,value=*:80:www.mysite.dk" That works fine, except for the httpBinding param. That is because that parameter is not declared inside the parameters.xml file that is added to the ZIP container. I could go and add that parameter declaration manually, but isn't there a way to do it from the command line and have it declare parameters I have in another XML file?

• moq SetupSet is obsolete. In place of what?

  Let's say I want to use moq to create a callback on a setter to store the set property in my own field for later use. (Contrived example - but it gets to the point of the question.) I could do something like this: myMock.SetupSet(x => x.MyProperty).Callback(value => myLocalVariable = value); And that works just fine. However, SetupSet is obsolete according to Intellisense. But it doesn't say what should be used as an alternative. I know that moq provides SetupProperty which will autowire the property with a backing field. But that is not what I'm looking for. I want to capture the set value into my own variable. How should I do this using non-obsolete methods?

The format I require in a file has JSON records on each line of the form: {<column 1>:<value>,<column 2>:<value>,...,<column N>:<value>} df.to_json(,orient='records') gets close to the result but all the records are dumped within a single JSON array. Any thoughts on an efficient way to get this result from a dataframe? The files we have got from client are: xxx.crl xxx.kdb xxx.rdb xxx.sth xxx.tab They said client channel table in that. I am trying to connect using the below code. And they are saying I don't need to specify the Queue Manager it will be defined in the Client Channel Table. But one thing is they have done while created key with the using "user1". • Crystal Reports Images not loading in ASP.NET MVC

  I'm using Crystal Reports in a Webform inside of an MVC application. Images in the reports are not being displayed, however, on both the ASP.NET Development Server and IIS 7 (on Win7x64). I know from a number of other questions similar to this that the CrystalImageHandler HTTP Handler is responsible for rendering the image, but I've tried all of the usual solutions to no avail. So far, I have Added the following to my appSettings (via http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg26882.html) <add key="CrystalImageCleaner-AutoStart" value="true" /> <add key="CrystalImageCleaner-Sleep" value="60000" /> <add key="CrystalImageCleaner-Age" value="120000" /> Added the following httpHandler to system.web/httpHandlers (via http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2253682/crystal-report-viewer-control-isnt-loading-the-images-inside-the-report) <add verb="GET" path="CrystalImageHandler.aspx" type="CrystalDecisions.Web.CrystalImageHandler, CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/> Added the following to my Global.asax.cs (via http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2006011/crystal-reports-images-and-asp-net-mvc) routes.IgnoreRoute("{resource}.aspx/{*pathInfo}"); and routes.IgnoreRoute("CrystalImageHandler.aspx"); Any ideas as to why the images still 404?

• Generated signed X.509 client certificate is invalid (no certificate chain to its CA)

  I use Bouncy Castle for generation of X.509 client certificates and sing them using a known CA. First I read the CA certificate from the certificate store, generate the client certificate, sign it using the CA. Validation of the certificate is failed doe to the following issue A certificate chain could not be built to a trusted root authority. As I understand this is due to the certificate not being related to the CA. • Connecting git to github on windows 7 without bash

  I'm setting up git on my new Windows 7 machine and I'm hitting a roadblock when it comes to getting github to acknowledge my ssh key. I am doing things a little different from the standard script in that I would rather not use cygwin and prefer to use my powershell prompt. The following is what I did: I installed msysgit (portable). I went to C:\program files\git\bin and used ssh-keygen to generate a public/private ssh keypair which I put in c:\Temp I then created a directory named .ssh\ in c:\Users\myusername\ (on windows 7) I moved both the files generated by the ssh-keygen (id_rsa and id_rsa.pub) into the .ssh directory I went to my account on github, created a new public key, copy-pasted the contents of id_rsa.pub into it and saved I now go to my powershell prompt, set-alias git 'C:\program files\git\bin\git.exe' I try to now do a clone [email protected]:togakangaroo/ps-profile.git which rejects my authentication: Permission denied (publickey). fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly Past experience says that this means git is not recognizing my key. What steps am I missing? I have a feeling that I need to somehow configure git so that it knows where my ssh keys are (though it would seem it should look there automatically) but I don't know how to do that. Another possible clue is that when I try to run git config --global user.name "George Mauer" I get an error fatal: $HOME not set I did however set up a HOME environment user variable with the value %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%

• Why doesn't EnumerableRowCollection<DataRow>.Select() compile like this?

  This works: from x in table.AsEnumerable() where x.Field<string>("something") == "value" select x.Field<decimal>("decimalfield"); but, this does not: from x in table.AsEnumerable() .Where(y=>y.Field<string>("something") == "value") .Select(y=>y.Field<decimal>("decimalfield")); I also tried: from x in table.AsEnumerable() .Where(y=>y.Field<string>("something") == "value") .Select(y=>new { name = y.Field<decimal>("decimalfield") }); Looking at the two overloads of the .Select() method, I thought the latter two should both return EnumerableRowCollection, but apparently I am wrong. What am I missing?
