    I'm currently looking into developing Facebook applications and was planning on using Flash as the basis of my application, I have test built some simple PHP Facebook applications and I know enough about action-script 3 to start me on my way, but the API for Facebook development in AS looks far more tedious than the PHP one. my question is would I be able to create interactive graphics (games) like we see across the web in the HTML5 canvas class? and which would be simpler?

    Hi, I'm currently understanding one application developed both in visual basic and c#. Running through the code is getting tough as code is around 50KLOC. So i'm planning for generation of AST (abstract syntax tree). Will it be possible to generate for both language together.     By default, when you apply changes to a Bugzilla entry, the web interface advances to the next bug in your list. I would like to disable this feature since it is almost never what I desire, planning to make further updates later. Further, I often update the wrong bug subsequently due to its changing the current bug without my noticing. How do I configure Bugzilla to not advance like this?

    Hi, I am planning to participate in development of a code written in C language for Monte Carlo analysis of complex problems. This codes allocates huge data arrays in memory to speed up its performance, therefore the author of the code has chosen C instead of C++ claiming that one can make faster and more reliable (concerning memory leaks) code with C. Do you agree with that? What would be your choice, if you need to store 4-16 Gb of data arrays in memory during calculation?

  • Has anyone tried the "objectify" library for Google App Engine?

    I was using JDO for my google app engine project but got fed up with the additional 5 seconds it adds to my cold start time. I was planning on just writing stuff directly to the database with the low level datastore api, but then I came accross the objectify project ( http://code.google.com/p/objectify-appengine/ ). Apparently its a super light wrapper above the low level api. Does anyone have experiences with this library that they could share?
