  We are using drag & drop utility between one source and multiple targets. We have a restriction that one of the target can only have one child element while the other ones can have multiple items. • Getting a "No default module defined for this application" exception while running controller unit t

  I have an application with the default directory structure, for an application without custom modules (see structure figure at the end). I have written a ControllerTestCase.php file as instructed in many tutorials, and I've created the appropriate bootstrap file as well (once again, see figures at the end). I've written some model tests which run just fine, but when I started writing the index controller test file, with only one test in it, with only one line in it ("$this-dispatch('/');"), I'm getting the following exception when running phpunit (but navigating with the browser to the same location - all is good and working): 1) IndexControllerTest::test_indexAction_noParams Zend_Controller_Exception: No default module defined for this application Why is this ? What have I done wrong ? Also when I close the spell checker the main form is back to normal. It seems like it is opening up Microsoft word then hiding the window, only allowing the spell checker to be seen. Please help.

  I have a TextBox bound to a ViewModel's Text property with the following setup: Xaml <TextBox Text="{Binding Text}"/> C# public class ViewModel : INotifyPropertyChanged { public string Text { get { return m_Text; } set { if (String.Equals(m_Text, value)) { return; } m_Text = value.ToLower(); RaisePropertyChanged("Text"); } } // Snip } When I type some stuff in to the TextBox it successfully sets the Text property on the ViewModel. The problem is that WPF ignores the property changed event that is raised by it's own update. This results in the user not seeing the text they typed converted to lowercase. How can I change this behaviour so that the TextBox updates with lowercase text? Note: this is just an example I have used to illustrate the problem of WPF ignoring events. I'm not really interested in converting strings to lowercase or any issues with String.Equals(string, string).

They array is not large (below 200 elements) and will be prepared once for a large number of searches. Array elements after the n-th can if necessary be initialized to something appropriate, if that speeds up the search. No, binary search is not allowed, only linear search.

• Python c_types .dll functions (pari library)

  Alright, so a couple days ago I decided to try and write a primitive wrapper for the PARI library. Ever since then I've been playing with ctypes library in loading the dll and accessing the functions contained using code similar to the following: from ctypes import * libcyg=CDLL("<path/cygwin1.dll") #It needs cygwin to be loaded. Not sure why. pari=CDLL("<path>/libpari-gmp-2.4.dll") print pari.fibo #fibonacci function #prints something like "<_FuncPtr object at 0x00BA5828>" So the functions are there and they can potentially be accessed, but I always recieve an access violation no matter what I try. For example: pari.fibo(5) #access violation pari.fibo(c_int(5)) #access violation pari.fibo.argtypes=[c_long] #setting arguments manually pari.fibo.restype=long #set the return type pari.fibo(byref(c_int(5))) #access violation reading 0x04 consistently and any variation on that, including setting argtypes to receive pointers. The Pari .dll is written in C and the fibonacci function's syntax within the library is GEN fibo(long x) (docs @http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/dochtml/html/Arithmetic_functions.html#fibonacci, I need more rep it seems). Could it be the return type that's causing these errors, as it is not a standard int or long but a GEN type, which is unique to the PARI library? Any help would be appreciated. If anyone is able to successfully load the library and use ANY function from within python, please tell; I've been at this for hours now.

  I have faced serious difficulties while installing sfJqueryTreeDoctrineManagerPlugin to Symfony 1.4 w/ Doctrine ORM. The installation directly from the server did not work out like with previous plugins that I have installed: C:\pathsymfony plugin:install sfJqueryTreeDoctrineManagerPlugin plugin installing plugin "sfJqueryTreeDoctrineManagerPlugin" No release available for plugin "sfJqueryTreeDoctrineManagerPlugin" This is why I needed to install the plugin by downloading the tgz-archive and install it manually like this: C:\pathsymfony plugin:install "C:\path\to\downloads\sfJqueryTreeDoctrineManagerPlugin-1.2.4.tgz" plugin installing plugin "C:\path\to\downloads\sfJqueryTreeDoctrineManagerPlugin-1.2.4.tgz" sfSymfonyPluginManager Installing web data for plugin I guess everything should be fine this far? The file sfJqueryTreeDoctrineHelper.php exists indeed but not in any previously mentioned folder. The file can only be found in the folder \plugins\sfJqueryTreeDoctrineManagerPlugin\lib\helper. I guess that Symfony doesn't look to that folder while finding helpers? I have tried to move the helper file to one of the previously mentioned folders. As expected, that changes the error. Now I get: 500 | Internal Server Error | sfConfigurationException The component does not exist: "sfJqueryTreeDoctrineManager", "manager". Unfortunately I can't figure out how should I be able to retrieve the "missing" component from the correct folder. I would be very grateful for any advice to help me forward. By the way, I am aware that there are other nested-set / tree plugins available for Symfony (like sfDoctrineTreePlugin and caPropelTreePlugin) but unluckily those are either uncompatible or too limited for my needs.

When I use this code, I only manage to retrieve recaptcha_challenge_field. If I remove recaptcha_challenge_field, I retrieve recaptcha_response_field. • How to find the leaky faucet that loads into Malloc 32kb

  I have been messing around with Leaks trying to find which function is not being deallocated (I am still new to this) and could really use some experienced insight. I have this bit of code that seems to be the culprit. Every time I press the button that calls this code, 32kb of memory is additionally allocated to memory and when the button is released that memory does not get deallocated. What I found was that everytime that AVAudioPlayer is called to play an m4a file, the final function to parse the m4a file is MP4BoxParser::Initialize() and this in turn allocates 32kb of memory through Cached_DataSource::ReadBytes My question is, how do I go about deallocating that after it is finished so that it doesn't keep allocating 32kb every time the button is pressed? • How to checkout from SVN with an ANT task?

  I'm interested in any way that I can create an Ant task to checkout files from SubVersion. I "just" want to do the checkout from the command line. I've been using Eclipse with Ant and SubVersion for a while now, but my Ant and SubVersion knowledge is somewhat lacking as I relied on Eclipse to wire it all together. I've been looking at SvnAnt as one solution, which is part of Subclipse from Tigris at http://subclipse.tigris.org/svnant/svn.html. It may work fine, but all I get are NoClassDefFoundErrors. To the more experienced this probably looks like a simple Ant configuration problem, but I don't know about that. I copied the svnant.jar and svnclientadapter.jar into my Ant lib directory.   Hello Everyone, I would like to achieve something very similar to this question, with some enhancements. There is an ASP.NET MVC web application. I have a tree of entities. For example, a Page class which has a property called Children, which is of type IList<Page>. (An instance of the Page class corresponds to a row in a database.) I would like to assign a unique URL to every Page in the database. I handle Page objects with a Controller called PageController. Example URLs: http://mysite.com/Page1/ http://mysite.com/Page1/SubPage/ http://mysite.com/Page/ChildPage/GrandChildPage/ You get the picture. So, I'd like every single Page object to have its own URL that is equal to its parent's URL plus its own name. In addition to that, I also would like the ability to map a single Page to the / (root) URL. I would like to apply these rules: If a URL can be handled with any other route, or a file exists in the filesystem in the specified URL, let the default URL mapping happen If a URL can be handled by the virtual path provider, let that handle it If there is no other, map the other URLs to the PageController class I also found this question, and also this one and this one, but they weren't of much help, since they don't provide an explanation about my first two points. I see the following possible soutions: Map a route for each page invidually. This requires me to go over the entire tree when the application starts, and adding an exact match route to the end of the route table. I could add a route with {*path} and write a custom IRouteHandler that handles it, but I can't see how could I deal with the first two rules then, since this handler would get to handle everything. So far, the first solution seems to be the right one, because it is also the simplest. I would really appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you in advance!

  I'm trying to test whether a user is registered on FreeNode. nick_info() doesn't seem to return information about this, so I want to use $irc-yield(whois = $nick); and then grab the irc_whois event's reply. The problem is that I want to wait until this event is fired, so I created a global variable $whois_result and wrote a sub like this: sub whois { my $nick = $_[0]; $whois_result = 0; $irc->yield(whois => $nick); while($whois_result == 0) { } return $whois_result; } with the irc_whois handler looking like: sub on_whois { $whois_result = $_[ARG0]; print "DEBUG: irc_whois fired.\n"; } Unfortunately, the event can't fire while the loop is running so this hangs. I'm sure there's a better way to do this, but I'm not familiar enough with this kind of programming to know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have this function that returns 1 if the number of black pixels is greater than treshold def checkBlackPixels( img, threshold ): width = img.width height = img.height nchannels = img.nChannels step = img.widthStep dimtot = width * height data = img.imageData black = 0 for i in range( 0, height ): for j in range( 0, width ): r = data[i*step + j*nchannels + 0] g = data[i*step + j*nchannels + 1] b = data[i*step + j*nchannels + 2] if r == 0 and g == 0 and b == 0: black = black + 1 if black >= threshold * dimtot: return 1 else: return 0 The loop (scan each pixel of a given image) works good when the input is an RGB image...but if the input is a single channel image I get this error: for j in range( width ): TypeError: Nested sequences should have 2 or 3 dimensions The input single channel image (called 'rg' in the next example) is taken from an RGB image called 'src' processed with cvSplit and then cvAbsDiff cvSplit( src, r, g, b, 'NULL' ) rg = cvCreateImage( cvGetSize(src), src.depth, 1 ) # R - G cvAbsDiff( r, g, rg ) I've also already noticed that the problem comes from the difference image got from cvSplit... (NB: I have MicrosoftAjax.js and MicrosoftMvcAjax.js in my head tags of the master page Should JsonResult be ActionResult? (I have seen both used in samples on web) Do I need to register route Controller/UpdateDropDown in Global.asax? Any further guidance would be appreciated.

• Git Diff with Beyond Compare

  I have succeeded in getting git to start Beyond Compare 3 as a diff tool however, when I do a diff, the file I am comparing against is not being loaded. Only the latest version of the file is loaded and nothing else, so there is nothing in the right pane of Beyond Compare. I am running git 1.6.3.1 with Cygwin with Beyond Compare 3. I have set up beyond compare as they suggest in the support part of their website with a script like such: #!/bin/sh # diff is called by git with 7 parameters: # path old-file old-hex old-mode new-file new-hex new-mode "path_to_bc3_executable" "$2" "$5" | cat Has anyone else encountered this problem and know a solution to this? Edit: I have followed the suggestions by VonC but I am still having exactly the same problem as before. I am kinda new to Git so perhaps I am not using the diff correctly. For example, I am trying to see the diff on a file with a command like such: git diff main.css Beyond Compare will then open and only display my current main.css in the left pane, there is nothing in the right pane. I would like the see my current main.css in the left pane compared to the HEAD, basically what I have last committed. • python __import__() imports from 2 different directories when same module exists in 2 locations

  Hi, I have a python application , which has directory structure like this. -pythonapp -mainpython.py -module1 -submodule1 -file1.py -file2.py -submodule2 -file3.py -file3.py -submodule3 -file1.py -file2.py -file5.py -file6.py -file7.py when I try to import the python utilities(from mainpython.py) under submodule3 , I get the initial 2 files from submodule1.(please note that submodule1 and 3 have 2 different files with the same name). However the same import works fine when there is no conflict i.e it correctly imports file 5,6,7 from submodule3. Here is the code : name=os.path.splitext(os.path.split("module1\submodule3\file1.py")[1])[0] -- file1.py name here is passed dynamically. module = import(name) //Here is name is like "file1" it works(but with the above said issue, though, when passes the name of the file dynamically), but if I pass complete package as "module1.submodule1.file1" it fails with an ImportError saying that "no module with name file1" Now the question is how do we tell the interpreter to use only the ones under "module1.submodule3.file2"? I am using python This is really urgent one and I have run out of all the tries. Hope some experienced python developers can solve this for me?

• FileInputStream negative skip

  I'm trying to find more about history of FileInputStream.skip(negative) operation. According to InputStream documentation: If n is negative, no bytes are skipped. It seems that implementation of FileInputStream from Sun used to throw IOException instead, which is now also documented in Javadoc: If n is negative, an IOException is thrown, even though the skip method of the InputStream superclass does nothing in this case. I just tried that, and found that FileInputStream.skip(-10) did in fact return -10! It didn't threw exception, it didn't even return 0, it returned -10. (I've tried with Java 1.5.0_22 from Sun, and Java 1.6.0_18 from Sun). Is this a known bug? Why hasn't it been fixed, or why documentation is kept the way it is? Can someone point me to some discussion about this issue? I can't find anything.

• Why can't I Bind a viewmodel property to a dependency property of a custom control

  I want to use a color picker in my wpf application and I saw a nice looking one on this codeproject page. The control works fine until I want to connect the control to a viewmodel. I created a small test program with this viewmodel: public class ColorViewModel : ViewModelBase { public ColorViewModel() { LineColor = Brushes.Yellow; } SolidColorBrush _brushColor; public SolidColorBrush LineColor { get { return _brushColor; } set { _brushColor = value; RaisePropertyChanged(() => LineColor); } } } The test program has a textbox and the colorpicker controls: <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <TextBlock Text="Please Select a Color" FontWeight="Bold" Margin="10" Foreground="{Binding Path=LineColor, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged}"/> <vw:ColorPickerControlView x:Name="ForeColorPicker" Margin="10" CurrentColor="{Binding Path=LineColor, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged }"/> </StackPanel> In the loaded event of the window I set the viewmodel to the datacontext like this: DataContext = new ColorViewModel(); The problem is that I can't seem to bind the LineColor property of the viewmodel to the CurrentColor property of the ColorPickerControlView. The CurrentControl property of the ColorPickerControlView seems to be fine. The constructor looks like this: public ColorPickerControlView() { this.DataContext = this; InitializeComponent(); CommandBindings.Add(new CommandBinding(SelectColorCommand, SelectColorCommandExecute)); } In the constructor of the UserControl there is the line this.DataContext = this; I read that is is necessary to bind the dependency properties. Do I override this line when I set my viewmodel to the datacontext and is that why I can't bind to the CurrentColor property? Is there any workaround? Or did I make another mistake?
