  • "error module dav_svn does not exist"

    I accidentally deleted the mod_svn on my webserver, and now I am stuck. Everything I try to do anything with it (remove it or reinstall it with apt-get), I get that message and apt fails. I know I could reinstall Apache, but I am trying to avoid that at all costs (unless I can do it in such a way that would keep my config files). Any ideas on how to deal with this?

  • File apparently doesn't exist when attempting to delete it

    A month or so back, I untarred the Linux source in a folder in Cygwin (I was curious as to whether or not it would compile with MinGW 'cause my other computer running Linux is a slow single core Sempron). I tried deleting it, but there's 1 file left, and it will not delete... Cygwin resides in C:\cygwin, and I untarred the source in C:\cygwin\src\linux-3.7.1. It didn't compile... So I tried deleting the folder. It was going well, until at the end, when I realized not all files are deleted. I tried deleting linux-3.7.1 folder again, and an error popped up: I opened the folder, and found that there's 1 source file left: aux.c, which is in C:\cygwin\src\linux-3.7.1\drivers\gpu\drm\nouveau\core\subdev\i2c\aux.c.     Hi, I'm looking for an MKV meta tag editor, I'm using PLEX Media Server and PLEX Media Center on my iMac to see movies. PLEX is great because it automatically find and name all my movie library with year, director, gender, original title, description, movie poter art, etc. Unfortunately, it saves all the data only on a app DB file without edit any tag on the MKV files. A 20% of the movies needs to be fixed or PLEX needs help to find exactly the movie name, so if I need to move all my library elsewere, I need to do all the tagging work again. So, does exists MKV meta tag editor? Oh I'm a Mac user

  • emacsclient: create a frame if a frame does not exist

    I start emacs server using emacs --daemon then open files using emacsclient filename.ext but the first file has to be opened using emacsclient -c filename.ext in order to create a new frame which can be later used by subsequent files without using -c command line flag for emacsclient. I want to automate this. "if there is no emacs frame, emacsclient should create a frame else it should use the current frame". How can it be done?

  • Why does no small Rj45 port exist?

    While I bought my last Tablet I noticed that no Tablet (and most smaller notebooks /convertibles) has a Rj45 port. Which I finde quite dissatisfying since I like to use RJ45 in numerous places. I think a reason could be that Rj45 is simply too big for a Tablet - it is downright massive compared to micro USB /HDMI etc. But that leads me to my question: Why is there no attempt to build a smaller micro-Rj45 port which could be used in constrained spaces?

  • Using Excel Lookup Function and Handling Case Where No Matches Exist

    I'm using Excel to enter data for an event where people register. A high percentage of the registrants will have registered for previous events, so we can their name and ID number. I'm trying to use the LOOKUP function in Excel to lookup the name and then populate the ID field with their ID number. This works well unless the value that is looked up is a new user that we don't already have details for. However, if the LOOKUP function can not find an exact match, it chooses the largest value in the lookup_range that is less than or equal to the value. This causes a problem since you can't tell if the match was exact (and the data is correct) or not exact and the match is incorrect. How do I catch non-matches and handle separately?

  • SQLite table does not exist exception for existing SQLite database (and table)

    I've followed the instructions given here for introducing an existing SQLite database to your Android app. When I query the table "android_metadata" this is fine. But when I run a similar query on my own table "words" (which has _id for primary integer key) I get a table does not exist exception and the app crashes. Why is that? Code: Cursor c = myDatabase.query("android_metadata", null, null, null, null, null, null, null); works but Cursor c = myDatabase.query("words", null, null, null, null, null, null, null); returns a table does not exist exception.   • Which comm ports exist? Win32

    On win32, using winapi, is there anyway to know which comports (from com0 upwards) actually exist as devices? At the moment I am just attemping to open them all (0 to 9), but I can't figure out the difference of failure between one not existing, and one not simply being available for use because someone else is using it. Both situations seem to return the same last error, so I was wondering if I could list all the comports available on the system.
