  • Getting svn: E170000: Unrecognized URL scheme for my custom Svn Gradle plugin

    - by Ip Doh
I wrote a custom gradle plugin using groovy to do basic svn tasks like, Checkout, Clean, Tag etc. The groovy class calls the svn command line client to do these operations, It works fine when i run it on my windows system but the same plugin gives the following error when i run it on a linux system (Centos). svn: E170000: Unrecognized URL scheme for '%22https://source.mycompany.net/svn/MyProject/trunk%22' Am able to make the same calls to the command line client through the command prompt or shell script without any issues. So what is the difference with Here is my code sample String command =String.format("svn co -r %d --non-interactive --trust-server-cert -- username %s --password %s --depth infinity \"%s\" \"%s\"", getRevision(), getUserName(), getUserPassword(), getSrcUrl(), getDir()); Process svnProcess = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(command); BufferedReader stdInput = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(svnProcess.getInputStream())); BufferedReader stdError = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(svnProcess.getErrorStream())); String statusOutputLine ="" while ((statusOutputLine = stdInput.readLine()) != null) { logger.quiet(" " + statusOutputLine); } while (( statusOutputLine = stdError.readLine()) != null) { logger.error(statusOutputLine) throw new Exception(statusOutputLine) } logger.quiet("Successfully Checked out the work space") i do have neon installed on the system -bash-4.1$ svn --version svn, version 1.6.11 (r934486) compiled Jun 25 2011, 11:30:15 Copyright (C) 2000-2009 CollabNet. • Pattern for limiting number of simultaneous asynchronous calls

    - by hitch
    I need to retrieve multiple objects from an external system. The external system supports multiple simultaneous requests (i.e. threads), but it is possible to flood the external system - therefore I want to be able to retrieve multiple objects asynchronously, but I want to be able to throttle the number of simultaneous async requests. i.e. I need to retrieve 100 items, but don't want to be retrieving more than 25 of them at once. When each request of the 25 completes, I want to trigger another retrieval, and once they are all complete I want to return all of the results in the order they were requested (i.e. there is no point returning the results until the entire call is returned). Are there any recommended patterns for this sort of thing? Would something like this be appropriate (pseudocode, obviously)? private List<externalSystemObjects> returnedObjects = new List<externalSystemObjects>; public List<externalSystemObjects> GetObjects(List<string> ids) { int callCount = 0; int maxCallCount = 25; WaitHandle[] handles; foreach(id in itemIds to get) { if(callCount < maxCallCount) { WaitHandle handle = executeCall(id, callback); addWaitHandleToWaitArray(handle) } else { int returnedCallId = WaitHandle.WaitAny(handles); removeReturnedCallFromWaitHandles(handles); } } WaitHandle.WaitAll(handles); return returnedObjects; } public void callback(object result) { returnedObjects.Add(result); }

  • Reverse Proxy Question!

    - by Dr Hydralisk
I know that Nginx does not support .htaccess files, but if you used Nginx as a reverse proxy (is that the correct term, Nginx handles static, Apache handles dynamic) with Apache, would you be able to use .htaccess files then?

  • What's a better way to display a handle for resizing a view on iPhone / iPad?

    - by Christian
I want to display a handle at the corners of a UIView that can be used to resize the view. How can I display the handles floating on the top of everything else and still have a connection to and be in sync with a view? The solution I implemented before looks like this: I put the view into another view that shows the handles on top of the corners. The problem with this approach is that the handles add extra space to the original view's size. Since Apple recommends at least 40 x 40 px for the size of a button, it is not very little space and also goes beyond the visible bounds of the original view. Another problem is that the original view has to be encapsulated in this 'helper view' object and thus becomes a part of something although it really is the main component.

  • Problem using GDI+ with multiple threads (VB.NET)

    - by Joe B
I think it would be best if I just copy and pasted the code (it's very trivial). Private Sub Main() Handles MyBase.Shown timer.Interval = 10 timer.Enabled = True End Sub Private Sub Form1_Paint(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.PaintEventArgs) Handles MyBase.Paint e.Graphics.DrawImage(image, 0, 0) End Sub Private Sub tick() Handles timer.Elapsed Using g = Graphics.FromImage(image) g.Clear(Color.Transparent) g.DrawLine(Pens.Red, 0 + i, 0 + i, Me.Width - i, Me.Height - i) End Using Me.Invalidate() End Sub An exception, "The object is currently in use elsewhere", is raised during the tick event. Could someone tell me why this happens and how to solve it? Thanks.

  • Will [WithEvents = Nothing] RemoveHandlers in the derived class?

    - by serhio
I use to set WithEvents variables to Nothing in Destuctor, because this will "Remove" all the Handlers associated with Handles keyword. Will this have the same effect for derivated classes? • Updating a Progress Bar within the Status Bar [migrated]

    - by Muhnamana
I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate a progress bar within the status bar to show how much processing is completed. Below is my example of updating the progress bar (not sure if this is the correct way or not) Private Sub Timer1_Tick(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Timer1.Tick ToolStripProgressBar1.Value = ToolStripProgressBar1.Value + 2 If ToolStripProgressBar1.Value = 100 Then ToolStripProgressBar1.Value = 0 ToolStripProgressBar1.Value = ToolStripProgressBar1.Value + 2 Timer1.Enabled = True End If End Sub Here is the code within the button. Private Sub Button1_Click(sender As System.Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1Run.Click ToolStripStatusLabel1.Text = "Processing..." Timer1.Enabled = True 'more code to be inserted here End Sub What I'm not sure is how to update the progress bar based on the amount of code you have and once the processing is complete, update the ToolStripStatusLabel1 to show "Processing...Complete!".

  • Plug-in or framework recommendation for showing content preview fly-over in CMS

    - by Michael Huang
The requirement is to have either front end plug-in or back end processor that generates the preview of contents (such as images, videos, PDF files, HTML pages) in a preview popup when user mouse hovers the content. I did some research on this, seems that there are assorted jquery plugins for each type of files, but what we are looking for is a framework that handles all types of file previews. Ideally, we want to generate preview images on the backend, considering the cost of retrieving content on front end. I did find some open source or proprietary CMS that provides this feature, but usually they are shipped as one suite and the API for file preview might not be open. Is there any java or jquery framework that handles file preview? Thanks a lot

  • Who should respond to collision: Unit or projectile?

    - by aleguna
In an RTS if a projectile hits a unit. Who should handle the collision? If projectile handles the collision, it must be aware of all possible types of units, to know what damage to inflict. For example a bullet will likely kill a human, but it will do nothing to a tank. The same goes if unit handles a collision. So either way one of them should be aware of all possible types of the other. Of course the 'true' way would be to do full physics simulation, but that's not an option for an RTS with 1000s of units and projectiles... So what are the common practicies in this regards?

  • .htaccess 301 Redirect for wildcard subdomains

    - by Steve
I run Wordpress in Network mode, which means I can have multiple websites running off one installation of Wordpress. Each website runs as a subdomain. Wordpress handles this using .htaccess, and a wildcard subdomain pointing to the location of Wordpress, so there are no actual subdomains created in cPanel; just a wildcard subdomain in cPanel, ad Wordpress handles the rest. I want to 301 redirect http://one.example.com/portfolio to http://two.example.com/portfolio. If I only have 1 .htaccess file in the web root of example.com, how do I achieve this?

  • C# powershell output reader iterator getting modified when pipeline closed and disposed.

    - by scope-creep
Hello, I'm calling a powershell script from C#. The script is pretty small and is "gps;$host.SetShouldExit(9)", which list process, and then send back an exit code to be captured by the PSHost object. The problem I have is when the pipeline has been stopped and disposed, the output reader PSHost collection still seems to be written to, and is filling up. So when I try and copy it to my own output object, it craps out with a OutOfMemoryException when I try to iterate over it. Sometimes it will except with a Collection was modified message. Here is the code. private void ProcessAndExecuteBlock(ScriptBlock Block) { Collection<PSObject> PSCollection = new Collection<PSObject>(); Collection<Object> PSErrorCollection = new Collection<Object>(); Boolean Error = false; int ExitCode=0; //Send for exection. ExecuteScript(Block.Script); // Process the waithandles. while (PExecutor.PLine.PipelineStateInfo.State == PipelineState.Running) { // Wait for either error or data waithandle. switch (WaitHandle.WaitAny(PExecutor.Hand)) { // Data case 0: Collection<PSObject> data = PExecutor.PLine.Output.NonBlockingRead(); if (data.Count > 0) { for (int cnt = 0; cnt <= (data.Count-1); cnt++) { PSCollection.Add(data[cnt]); } } // Check to see if the pipeline has been closed. if (PExecutor.PLine.Output.EndOfPipeline) { // Bring back the exit code. ExitCode = RHost.ExitCode; } break; case 1: Collection<object> Errordata = PExecutor.PLine.Error.NonBlockingRead(); if (Errordata.Count > 0) { Error = true; for (int count = 0; count <= (Errordata.Count - 1); count++) { PSErrorCollection.Add(Errordata[count]); } } break; } } PExecutor.Stop(); // Create the Execution Return block ExecutionResults ER = new ExecutionResults(Block.RuleGuid,Block.SubRuleGuid, Block.MessageIdentfier); ER.ExitCode = ExitCode; // Add in the data results. lock (ReadSync) { if (PSCollection.Count > 0) { ER.DataAdd(PSCollection); } } // Add in the error data if any. if (Error) { if (PSErrorCollection.Count > 0) { ER.ErrorAdd(PSErrorCollection); } else { ER.InError = true; } } // We have finished, so enque the block back. EnQueueOutput(ER); } and this is the PipelineExecutor class which setups the pipeline for execution. public class PipelineExecutor { private Pipeline pipeline; private WaitHandle[] Handles; public Pipeline PLine { get { return pipeline; } } public WaitHandle[] Hand { get { return Handles; } } public PipelineExecutor(Runspace runSpace, string command) { pipeline = runSpace.CreatePipeline(command); Handles = new WaitHandle[2]; Handles[0] = pipeline.Output.WaitHandle; Handles[1] = pipeline.Error.WaitHandle; } public void Start() { if (pipeline.PipelineStateInfo.State == PipelineState.NotStarted) { pipeline.Input.Close(); pipeline.InvokeAsync(); } } public void Stop() { pipeline.StopAsync(); } } An this is the DataAdd method, where the exception arises. public void DataAdd(Collection<PSObject> Data) { foreach (PSObject Ps in Data) { Data.Add(Ps); } } I put a for loop around the Data.Add, and the Collection filled up with 600k+ so feels like the gps command is still running, but why. Any ideas. Thanks in advance.

  • .NET Programmatically invoke screenclick doesn't work?

    - by ropstah
I'm trying to programmatically invoke an onclick event however the click is not received/handled. Am I missing something, or is security preventing the click to be executed? I have a forms application which is invisible. Basically I would like to say: DoDoubleClick(wait, x, y) This should raise two click (mousedown+mouseup) events on screen with the specified wait interval. However the click isn't received in a Flash application in Firefox (which is running at that moment). • how to use 3D map Actionscript class in mxml file for display map.

    - by nemade-vipin
hello friends, I have created the application in which I have to use 3D map Action Script class in mxml file to display a map in form. that is in tab navigator last tab. • Moving Zend Framework 2 from apache to nginx

    - by Aleksander
I would like to move site that uses Zend Framework 2 from Apache to Nginx. The problem is that site have 6 modules, and apache handles it by aliases defined in httpd-vhosts.conf, #httpd-vhosts.conf <VirtualHost _default_:443> ServerName localhost:443 Alias /develop/cpanel "C:/webapps/develop/mil_catele_cp/public" Alias /develop/docs/tech "C:/webapps/develop/mil_catele_tech_docs/public" Alias /develop/docs "C:/webapps/develop/mil_catele_docs/public" Alias /develop/auth "C:/webapps/develop/mil_catele_auth/public" Alias /develop "C:/webapps/develop/mil_web_dicom_viewer/public" DocumentRoot "C:/webapps/mil_catele_homepage" </VirtualHost> in httpd.conf DocumentRoot is set to C:/webapps. Sites are avialeble at for example localhost/develop/cpanel. Framework handles further routing. In Nginx I was able to make only one site available by specifing root C:/webapps/develop/mil_catele_tech_docs/public; in server block. It works only because docs module don't depend on auth like others, and site was at localhost/. In next attempt: root C:/webapps; location /develop/auth { root C:/webapps/develop/mil_catele_auth/public; try_files $uri $uri/ /develop/mil_catele_auth/public/index.php$is_args$args; } Now as I enter localhost/develop/cpanel it gets to correct index.php but can't find any resources (css,js files). I have no Idea why reference paths in browswer's GET requsts changed to https://localhost/css/bootstrap.css form https://localhost/develop/auth/css/bootstrap.css as it was on apache. This root directive seems not working. Nginx handles php by using fastCGI location ~ \.(php|phtml)?$ { fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; fastcgi_index index.php; fastcgi_param APPLICATION_ENV production; fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name; include fastcgi_params; } I googled whole day, and found nothing usefull. Can someone help me make this configuration work like on Apache?

  • Is it safe to force a dismount to format a volume in Windows?

I am using format command in cmd to format a USB flash drive. M:\>format /FS:FAT32 /Q Required parameter missing - M:\>format M: /FS:FAT32 /Q Insert new disk for drive M: and press ENTER when ready... The type of the file system is FAT32. QuickFormatting 14999M Format cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Format may run if this volume is dismounted first. ALL OPENED HANDLES TO THIS VOLUME WOULD THEN BE INVALID. Would you like to force a dismount on this volume? (Y/N) y Volume dismounted. All opened handles to this volume are now invalid. Initializing the File Allocation Table (FAT)... Volume label (11 characters, ENTER for none)? Format complete. 14,6 GB total disk space. 14,6 GB are available. 8 192 bytes in each allocation unit. 1 917 823 allocation units available on disk. 32 bits in each FAT entry. Volume Serial Number is E00B-2739 M:\> Is it safe to force a dismount like this, and make the handles invalid?

  • How to remove control chars from UTF8 string

    - by Mimefilt
Hi there, i have a VB.NET program that handles the content of documents. The programm handles high volumes of documents as "batch"(2Million documents;total 1TB volume) Some of this documents may contain control chars or chars like f0e8(http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/f0e8/browsertest.htm). Is there a easy and especially fast way to remove that chars?(except space,newline,tab,...) If the answer is regex: Has anyone a complete regex for me? Thanks!

  • Detecting and handling third-party library filehandle leaks in Java

    - by tucuxi
Is there any way to detect and handle whether a Java library is correctly releasing file-handles (via "close") from within a Java program that is using said library, short of having access to the actual library code and inserting the corresponding "finally close" statements? If detection is feasible, is there any way to close those file-handles without a reference to the Reader (or FileInputStream) that was reading the file?

Here is an example of what i would do in vb: Public Class Class1 Public Shared WithEvents Something As New EventClass Public Shared Sub DoStuff() Handles Something.Test End Sub End Class Public Class EventClass Public Event Test() End Class Now how do i do this in c#. I know there is not handles clause in c# so i need some function that is called and assign the event handlers there. However since its a shared class there is no constructor i must put it somewhere outside of a function. Any ideas?

  • How does IE8 handle xml header.

    - by markovuksanovic
I was wondering where I can find some information how IE8 actually handles xml header... for example how is handling <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> different to <?xml version="1.0"?>. One other questions would be how FF handles those header. How is that different to IE8. I am almost 100% sure that they handle them differently but am still doing some research. /Marko
