  • Oracle UCM Integration with WebCenter

    Portal deployments always contain some level of content that requires management. Like peanut butter and jelly, the ying and yang, they are inseparable. Unfortunately, unlike peanut butter and jelly content and portals usually require that an extensive amount of work be completed to create a seamless experience for end users who will be serviced by the portal, as well as for users who will be contributing and managing the content. With WebCenter Suite Oracle has understood this need and addressed it by including Universal Content Management (UCM, formerly Stellent) licensing to allow content to be delivered into the portal from a mature, class-leading content management technology.     Hello all, When I use the Microsoft equation editor, if I have a word that is greater than 10 characters in length, the equation editor automatically breaks the word and puts spaces in between them when the object is embedded in a powerpoint slide. For example- If I have the word "automatically" in the equation editor, it shows up just fine when I am editing the text in the equation editor. But when I update this object to the powerpoint slide, it shows up as "automatica lly". There is a tab or 5 spaces between "automcatica" and "lly". Is there any way to solve this problem?   • How to shoot a triangle out of an asteroid which floats all of the way up to the screen?

    I currently have an asteroid texture loaded as my "test player" for the game I'm writing. What I'm trying to figure out how to do is get a triangle to shoot from the center of the asteroid, and keep going until it hits the top of the screen. What happens in my case (as you'll see from the code I've posted), is that the triangle will show, however it will either be a long line, or it will just be a single triangle which stays in the same location as the asteroid moving around (that disappears when I stop pressing the space bar), or it simply won't appear at all. I've tried many different methods, but I could use a formula here. All I'm trying to do is write a space invaders clone for my final in C#. I know how to code fairly well, my formulas just need work is all.   • Algorithms for positioning rectangles evenly spaced with unknown connecting lines

    I'm new to game development, but I'm trying to figure out a good algorithm for positioning rectangles (of any width and height) in a given surface area, and connecting them with any variation of lines. Two rectangles will never have more than one line connecting them. Where would I begin working on a problem like this? This is only a 2 dimensional surface. I read about graph theory, and it seems like this is a close representation of that. The rectangles would be considered a node, and the lines connecting them would be considered an edge in graph theory.

  • Replace text with spaces in MySQL

    I'm trying to do a global replace of search in my database, which has a lot of articles with a double carriage return because of this code: <p> </p> I'd like to replace this in my WordPress blog so instead of that appears... nothing, and so I can delete the CR. I've tried this on my database UPDATE wp_posts set post_content = replace (post_content,'<p> </p>',''); but didn't work. Why? Do I have to add special thinks to consider the space between the <p>and the</p>? Mmm. Good points, both Jon Angliss and Wim. Jon, as you could have guessed, the database shows no entries with that text string. So there's something going on inside the post_content field. Wim, the famous   was replaced previously, but there are still hundreds of posts that for some reason have something different between the p and the /p tags. I've done a search of one of the posts with this error: mysql> select * from wp_posts where post_title like '%3DVisionLive%'; And looking in the wp_content field, this is a little piece of the post: Phil Eisler, responsable de la divisi?n 3D Vision.?</p> <p>?</p> <p>Este portal ser? por tanto No spanish tilde (accent) shown on the terminal, and instead of an space there's a quotation mark between the p and the /p tags. I've tried to replace <p>?</p>, but again, no results. There's some character (or several) there, but I don't know how to discover that. Maybe it's the character set of my terminal, but I've accessed the database from phpmyadmin and in that case there's a space character between the p and the /p. Weird.

  • Going to directory using bash variables doesn't work when directory names have spaces

    Let's say I want to store the following command in a variable cd "/cygdrive/c/Program Files/" So I do this dir="cd \"/cygdrive/c/Program Files/\"" That should store the command to navigate to the Program Files directory, so when I type $dir it takes me to that directory. To check that the quotations have been properly escaped, I type echo $dir which gives me cd "/cygdrive/c/Program Files/" So everything should be working fine. However, when I type, $dir I get bash: cd: "/cygdrive/c/Program: No such file or directory What am I doing wrong? I'm using Cygwin, but I assume this problem applies to bash in general.

So will Invoke-Expression -command "\Windows\system32\mspaint.exe" but if there is a space in the path PowerShell spits the dummy e.g. Invoke-Expression -command "\install\sub directory\test.bat" Which complains: The term '\install\sub' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. What am I missing?

    I have a simple string which is delimited by some character, let's say a comma. I should be able to create a TStringList and set it's delimiter to a comma then set the DelimitedText to the text I want to parse and it should be automaticlly parsed. The problem is when I look at the output it also includes spaces as delimiters and chops up my results. How can I avoid this, or is there a better way to do this.

    Hello, I have the following problems: First: I am trying to do a 32-spaces bitwise left shift on a large number, and for some reason the number is always returned as-is. For example: echo(516103988<<32); // echoes 516103988 Because shifting the bits to the left one space is the equivalent of multiplying by 2, i tried multiplying the number by 2^32, and it works, it returns 2216649749795176448. Second: I have to add 9379 to the number from the above point: printf('%0.0f', 2216649749795176448 + 9379); // prints 2216649749795185920 Should print: 2216649749795185827

    I have 4 string variables name, quest, favorite_color, speed that might be empty. I want to concatenate them all together, putting spaces between those that aren't empty. So: name = 'Tim' quest = 'destroy' favorite_color = 'red' speed = 'fast' becomes 'Tim destroy red fast' and name = 'Steve' quest = '' favorite_color = '' speed = 'slow' becomes: 'Steve slow' (Notice: there is only 1 space between 'Steve' and 'slow') How do I do that (preferably in 1 line).
