    hi, I cannot solve this issue with the video at this link: http://www.sanstitre.ch/drupal/portfolio?tid[0]=66 It displays correctly in all browsers but not in IE8 or IE7. The IE8 debugger doesn't give me any error message. If I'm not wrong the video object is not added in IE. So, for some reason the Drupal module, jQuery Media and the library SWFObject are not adding it in IE browsers... any tip ? thanks

  • High server load - [jbd2/md1-8] using 99.99% IO

    I've been having spike in load over the last week. This usually occurs once or twice a day. I've managed to identify from iotop that [jbd2/md1-8] is using 99.99 % IO. During the high load times there is no high traffic to the server. Server specs are: AMD Opteron 8 core 16 GB RAM 2x2.000 GB 7.200 RPM HDD Software Raid 1 Cloudlinux + Cpanel Mysql is properly tuned Apart from the spikes, the load usually is around 0.80 at most. I've searched around but can't find what [jbd2/md1-8] does exactly. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know a possible solution? Thank you.     I'm moving to Google Apps and have setup dual-delivery. Everything is fine, but for mail sent internally (from [email protected] to [email protected]), Exchange is not using the send connectors I have pointing to Google's servers. I believe my question is similar to this question: How to force internal email through an smtp connector in exchange 2007 Again, if a user is connected to the Exchange server and tries to send to [email protected] it works just fine, but I cannot seem to force *@mydomain.com to route correctly. This should be a fairly simple, but according to this: google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Apps/thread?tid=30b6ad03baa57289&hl=en (can't post two links due to spam prevention) It does not seem possible. Any ideas?

    Not sure this is the right place for this question, but here goes: I'm trying to make some sense of the /proc/pid/sched and /proc/pid/task/tid/sched files for a highly threaded server process, however I was not able to find a good explanation of how to interpret this file ( just a few bits here: http://knol.google.com/k/linux-performance-tuning-and-measurement# ) . I assume this entry in procfs is related to newer versions of the kernel that run with the CFS scheduler? CentOS distro running on a 2.6.24.7-149.el5rt kernel version with preempt rt patch. Any thoughts?

  • Simple UPDATE query with (sometime) long query times

    I run a dedicated MySQL server (2 cores, 16GB RAM) serving 100-200 requests per second. It is getting sluggish during peak traffic and I have a hard time optimizing the server. So I'm looking for some ideas now that I have done lots of Innodb fine-tuning with the "TUNING PRIMER" The query that now generates most slow queries is the following (see result from mysqldumpslow): Count: 433 Time=3.40s (1470s) Lock=0.00s (0s) Rows=0.0 (0), UPDATE user_sessions SET tid='S' WHERE idsession='S' I am very surprised to have so many long queries for such a simple query with no locking. Fyi, the table is InnoDB and has 14000 rows. It contains all active sessions on the site with approx 10 UPDATE and SELECT hits per second.     I want my XAMPP Apache server to host a zip file (The file is around 250mb) but the server closes the connection and won't let me download the file! However webistes are loading correctly and It seems that the problem is with the extension Does xampp/apache have any file extension limit that they won't let me download .zip and .exe files? Also tested with a smaller .exe file , the problem is still present. It just doesn't let me download any file from the server.!!! So here i am: i have a desktop pc with two accounts, both with Administrative rights. One is used by the entire my family, in particular by my brother. The problem is that i set some DNS and IP configurations to let be possible the VNC connection from remote. Now i would like to disable the network settings (TCP/IP and DNS) to prohibit my brother to change it preventing me to connect to it. So how can i do this?     it happens quite often, that I click a link over a persons name, just to see that it launches the default mail client of my system. I thought it would be a normal link, but it was a "mailto:"-link. I would like Chrome to start gmail, not my default email client. For Firefox, I had only to paste this in the URL-Bar: javascript:window.navigator.registerProtocolHandler("mailto","https://mail.google.com/mail/?extsrc=mailto&url=%s","GMail") Unfortunately, it doesn't work in Chrome 9. I have found this tutorial for Ubuntu, but I would like a solution in Chome. If it is only in Chrome, I can sync the settings. When i use the selectCommand in stead of the selectLimit it return all the data correct as an json object an parses it correcly in the grid but it doens't use the LIMIT, Because when i add the limit. PDO doens't work anymore. So how do I get the object from the selectLimit to the grid? Can someone please help me get the grid working?

    I could run Notepad++ easily but I fail to run the Angry bird exe. Whenever I open the exe, I see one of my screen flickrs a bit (as lines and not the whole screen) and nothing happens. Any ideas?
