    Hi all I am using the following javascript code to refresh another page window.opener.location.replace(url) The problem is when entering the url, do not find the page as the page is located in the root and this calling code is placed in a page inside another folder. How do I specify the path to point to the root, which is where the page is located? I have try many things, but it does not work; //page.aspx, ../page.aspx, ~/page.aspx, page.aspx, /page.aspx.... A little visual indicator should indicate if a field is associated with a comment, and on clicking on the element should open or trigger an action for displaying that particular comment.   • Preserving CSS styles with Javascript

    Hey guys, I have a web service where people can edit their pages CSS, but I have a bar on the footer of that page that I want to make consistend on every page... People are, right now, able to "remove" it with CSS and I really didn't want to go and parse the CSS to remove rules related to that bar... Is there a way to preserve the styles or re-aply them after load to keep the bar always visible? Thanks in advanced!

  • strange behavior when changing UINavigationController backItem title

    Hi, I'm changing the back button item title in the viewDidAppear of a controller in the following way: self.navigationController.navigationBar.backItem.title = @"Previous"; It changes the tittle properly, but the I'm having a strange behaviour. When I select the "previous" button, it changes the tittle of the controller that is up in the stack (i.e the parent controller now has the title "Previous". Do you now why this happened ???   • jQuery slider vanishes after container div is toggled

    I have a page which contains a jQuery-UI horizontal slider, created using a little function, inside a DIV which can be displayed / hidden by clicking on it's title, using $.toggle(). Problem is, once the div is hidden, when it is expanded the slider is gone. A simplified demo of the problem can be seen here: http://arr.gr/jquery-issue.html (file contains all relevant source code) - when clicking the "Advanced Options" title to hide and then show the div, the slider is no longer there. Any suggestions on how to work around this?

Is there anything like this out there? I tried to search on Google, but majority of articles were about starting with PHP and its basic functions. Any input is really welcome as I'm trying to understand the language internally - I'm tired of my mindless typing of code without understanding its essence.

    Does anyone know a c++ library that uses advanced encryption standard encryption that can achieve encryption and decryption (using counter mode) in just two lines of codes. No need of padding or buffering the plaintexts the library will take care of all this. I have had a look at crypto++, openssl and libtomcrypt but in these it seems I need to write codes to buffer and pad the plaintexts which I don't want. In brief, I need something along these lines: ciphertext = encrypt(ctr_mode(),plaintext,key) plaintext = decrypt(ctr_mode(),ciphertext,key) Thanks!

  • blitting issue when blitting to wxGCDC from a wxMemoryDC

    Hi All, I have loaded a wxBitmap (with transparency .png) in memoryDC now when i am blitting the data from the memoryDc to GCDC that time in transparent part its giving the black color. But if remove the GCDC and use normal ClientDC for display purpose there is no such problem happening, but i cannot remove the wxGCDC because this is only support the transparency in color drawing. Any solution or workaround really helpful. Thanks in advanced

    I know it is rather heated question. But anyway I'd like to hear opinions of those in Stackoverflow. Given that XML support is quite good in SQL Server 2005/2008, and there's no concern about database independency, why one need Linq-to-SQL, Entity Framework, NHibernate and the likes, which are quite complex and awkward in advanced use-cases, if by using POCOs, XmlSerializer, and stored procedures which process XML, one can achieve a lot less complex middle-tier?   • iphone dev - activity indicator scroll with the table

    In a view of my app I subclass tableViewController and has an activity indicator shown up when the table content is loading. I put it in the center of the screen but it scroll with the tableView (I guess the reason is I add it as a subview of the table view). Is there a way that I can keep the activity indicator in the center of the screen even the table is scrolling? Thanks in advanced.

Ok, my hurdle is this: how do I identify which credit card type is being used as text is entered in the uitextfield? I assume I've to use textField:shouldChangeCharactersInRange:replacementString:?
