  • dynamic detail section using user date range

    - by user1437828
    I have a particular report that I need help with. I have an assignment where we are looking for missing data for a particular date - the situation is that users are required to enter a begin and an end note for their shift and their shift is either a day shift or a night shift. So within a 24 hour period there should be a day begin note, day end note, evening begin note and an evening end note I have the command written to generate the required data for ONE DAY ONLY using a BeginDate parameter supplied by the user What I need is to allow the user to enter a date range (add another parameter EndDate), then evaluate the data entry (command) for each day. The parameter being passed in using the user's input is a date and in the Group Expert the user input is not an available field Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated!

  • Customs toString in Java not giving desired output and throwing error

    - by user2972048
    I am writing a program in Java to accept and validate dates according to the Gregorian Calendar. My public boolean setDate(String aDate) function for an incorrect entry is suppose to change the boolean goodDate variable to false. That variable is suppose tell the toString function, when called, to output "Invalid Entry" but it does not. My public boolean setDate(int d, int m, int y) function works fine though. I've only included the problem parts as its a long piece of code. Thanks public boolean setDate(int day, int month, int year){ // If 1 <= day <= 31, 1 <= month <= 12, and 0 <= year <= 9999 & the day match with the month // then set object to this date and return true // Otherwise,return false (and do nothing) boolean correct = isTrueDate(day, month, year); if(correct){ this.day = day; this.month = month; this.year = year; return true; }else{ goodDate = false; return false; } //return false; } public boolean setDate(String aDate){ // If aDate is of the form "dd/mm/yyyy" or "d/mm/yyyy" // Then set the object to this date and return true. // Otherwise, return false (and do nothing) Date d = new Date(aDate); boolean correct = isTrueDate(d.day, d.month, d.year); if(correct){ this.day = d.day; this.month = d.month; this.year = d.year; return true; }else{ goodDate = false; return false; } } public String toString(){ // outputs a String of the form "dd/mm/yyyy" // where dd must be 2 digits (with leading zero if needed) // mm must be 2 digits (with leading zero if needed) // yyyy must be 4 digits (with leading zeros if needed) String day1; String month1; String year1; if(day<10){ day1 = "0" + Integer.toString(this.day); } else{ day1 = Integer.toString(this.day); } if(month<10){ month1 = "0" + Integer.toString(this.month); } else{ month1 = Integer.toString(this.month); } if(year<10){ year1 = "00" + Integer.toString(this.year); } else{ year1 = Integer.toString(this.year); } if(goodDate){ return day1 +"/" +month1 +"/" + year1; }else{ goodDate = true; return "Invalid Entry"; } } Thank you

  • WCF Rest Service Date issue

    - by Ranish
    I am working on a WCF Rest service for a iPhone application. I have a WebGet method which returns a “date time”. I am using following code [OperationContract] [WebGet(ResponseFormat = WebMessageFormat.Json, BodyStyle = WebMessageBodyStyle.Wrapped, UriTemplate = "GetDate")] DateTime GetDate(); When I tried to call the method using Mozilla rest client I am able to get following result "/Date(1355116291037+0530)/" But the problem is when this method consume from the iPhone side we are getting another date time value( there is around 5:30 hours difference) . Any one have any idea regarding this issue,Please help me Thanks in advance

  • date.getHours() to calendar.hour

    - by user1487045
    I want to get the hour of day in 24hour cycle. I know that date.getHours() is depreciated. But I'm tempted to use it since I cant get the same result out of calendar.hour call. Can anyone tell me how to fix what I have below to get the hours out correctly with calendar.hour? ...much appreciated. Date d = new Date(); Calendar c = Calendar.getInstance(); c.setTime(d); System.out.println("hour: "+Math.abs(c.HOUR-24)+", mins: "+Math.abs(c.MINUTE-60)+", d.h: "+d.getHours() +", d.m: "+d.getMinutes());

  • how to incorporate a function within a function

    - by bklynM
    I updated my code with string dates created with new Date and added back in the if statement. This isn't disabling the string or range though. I've added the datepicker code too. function unavailableDays(date) { function createDateRange(first, last) { var dates = []; for(var j = first; j < last; j.setDate(j.getDate() + 7)) { dates.push(new Date(j.getTime())); } var alwaysDisabled = [new Date("1963-3-10T00:00:00"), new Date("1963-3-17T00:00:00"), new Date("1963-3-24T00:00:00"), new Date("1963-3-31T00:00:00"), new Date("1965-9-18T00:00:00")]; return dates.concat(alwaysDisabled); } var disabledDays = createDateRange(new Date("1978-8-10T00:00:00"), new Date("1978-11-5T00:00:00")); var yy = date.getFullYear(), mm = date.getMonth(), dd = date.getDate(); for (i = 0; i < disabledDays.length; i++) { if($.inArray(yy + '-' + (mm+1) + '-' + dd,disabledDays) != -1 || new Date() < date) { return [false]; } } return [true]; } $(document).ready(function (){ $('.selector').datepicker({ inline: true, dateFormat: 'yy-mm-dd', constrainInput: true, changeYear: true, changeMonth: true, minDate: new Date(1940, 1-1, 1), maxDate: new Date(2011, 10-1, 24), beforeShowDay: unavailableDays, onSelect: function(dateText, inst) { $("#img").attr("src", "http://www.example.com" + dateText + ".jpg"); var chosenDates = $.datepicker.parseDate('yy-mm-dd', dateText); var backToString = $.datepicker.formatDate('MM dd' + ',' + ' yy', chosenDates); $('.info').html('You are viewing:' + '<br />' + backToString).addClass('background'); } }); });

  • C#/.NET Little Pitfalls: The Dangers of Casting Boxed Values

    - by James Michael Hare
    Starting a new series to parallel the Little Wonders series.  In this series, I will examine some of the small pitfalls that can occasionally trip up developers. Introduction: Of Casts and Conversions What happens when we try to assign from an int and a double and vice-versa? 1: double pi = 3.14; 2: int theAnswer = 42; 3:  4: // implicit widening conversion, compiles! 5: double doubleAnswer = theAnswer; 6:  7: // implicit narrowing conversion, compiler error! 8: int intPi = pi; As you can see from the comments above, a conversion from a value type where there is no potential data loss is can be done with an implicit conversion.  However, when converting from one value type to another may result in a loss of data, you must make the conversion explicit so the compiler knows you accept this risk.  That is why the conversion from double to int will not compile with an implicit conversion, we can make the conversion explicit by adding a cast: 1: // explicit narrowing conversion using a cast, compiler 2: // succeeds, but results may have data loss: 3: int intPi = (int)pi; So for value types, the conversions (implicit and explicit) both convert the original value to a new value of the given type.  With widening and narrowing references, however, this is not the case.  Converting reference types is a bit different from converting value types.  First of all when you perform a widening or narrowing you don’t really convert the instance of the object, you just convert the reference itself to the wider or narrower reference type, but both the original and new reference type both refer back to the same object. Secondly, widening and narrowing for reference types refers the going down and up the class hierarchy instead of referring to precision as in value types.  That is, a narrowing conversion for a reference type means you are going down the class hierarchy (for example from Shape to Square) whereas a widening conversion means you are going up the class hierarchy (from Square to Shape).  1: var square = new Square(); 2:  3: // implicitly convers because all squares are shapes 4: // (that is, all subclasses can be referenced by a superclass reference) 5: Shape myShape = square; 6:  7: // implicit conversion not possible, not all shapes are squares! 8: // (that is, not all superclasses can be referenced by a subclass reference) 9: Square mySquare = (Square) myShape; So we had to cast the Shape back to Square because at that point the compiler has no way of knowing until runtime whether the Shape in question is truly a Square.  But, because the compiler knows that it’s possible for a Shape to be a Square, it will compile.  However, if the object referenced by myShape is not truly a Square at runtime, you will get an invalid cast exception. Of course, there are other forms of conversions as well such as user-specified conversions and helper class conversions which are beyond the scope of this post.  The main thing we want to focus on is this seemingly innocuous casting method of widening and narrowing conversions that we come to depend on every day and, in some cases, can bite us if we don’t fully understand what is going on!  The Pitfall: Conversions on Boxed Value Types Can Fail What if you saw the following code and – knowing nothing else – you were asked if it was legal or not, what would you think: 1: // assuming x is defined above this and this 2: // assignment is syntactically legal. 3: x = 3.14; 4:  5: // convert 3.14 to int. 6: int truncated = (int)x; You may think that since x is obviously a double (can’t be a float) because 3.14 is a double literal, but this is inaccurate.  Our x could also be dynamic and this would work as well, or there could be user-defined conversions in play.  But there is another, even simpler option that can often bite us: what if x is object? 1: object x; 2:  3: x = 3.14; 4:  5: int truncated = (int) x; On the surface, this seems fine.  We have a double and we place it into an object which can be done implicitly through boxing (no cast) because all types inherit from object.  Then we cast it to int.  This theoretically should be possible because we know we can explicitly convert a double to an int through a conversion process which involves truncation. But here’s the pitfall: when casting an object to another type, we are casting a reference type, not a value type!  This means that it will attempt to see at runtime if the value boxed and referred to by x is of type int or derived from type int.  Since it obviously isn’t (it’s a double after all) we get an invalid cast exception! Now, you may say this looks awfully contrived, but in truth we can run into this a lot if we’re not careful.  Consider using an IDataReader to read from a database, and then attempting to select a result row of a particular column type: 1: using (var connection = new SqlConnection("some connection string")) 2: using (var command = new SqlCommand("select * from employee", connection)) 3: using (var reader = command.ExecuteReader()) 4: { 5: while (reader.Read()) 6: { 7: // if the salary is not an int32 in the SQL database, this is an error! 8: // doesn't matter if short, long, double, float, reader [] returns object! 9: total += (int) reader["annual_salary"]; 10: } 11: } Notice that since the reader indexer returns object, if we attempt to convert using a cast to a type, we have to make darn sure we use the true, actual type or this will fail!  If the SQL database column is a double, float, short, etc this will fail at runtime with an invalid cast exception because it attempts to convert the object reference! So, how do you get around this?  There are two ways, you could first cast the object to its actual type (double), and then do a narrowing cast to on the value to int.  Or you could use a helper class like Convert which analyzes the actual run-time type and will perform a conversion as long as the type implements IConvertible. 1: object x; 2:  3: x = 3.14; 4:  5: // if you want to cast, must cast out of object to double, then 6: // cast convert. 7: int truncated = (int)(double) x; 8:  9: // or you can call a helper class like Convert which examines runtime 10: // type of the value being converted 11: int anotherTruncated = Convert.ToInt32(x); Summary You should always be careful when performing a conversion cast from values boxed in object that you are actually casting to the true type (or a sub-type). Since casting from object is a widening of the reference, be careful that you either know the exact, explicit type you expect to be held in the object, or instead avoid the cast and use a helper class to perform a safe conversion to the type you desire. • Member Status: Inquorate in RHEL 5.6

    - by Eugene S
    I've encountered a strange issue. I had to change the time on my Linux RHEL cluster system. I've done it using the following command from the root user: date +%T -s "10:13:13" After doing this, some message appeared relating to <emerg> #1: Quorum Dissolved (however I didn't capture the message completely). In order to investigate the issue I looked at /var/log/messages and I've discovered these errors. Below is the output of few commands I got when tried to investigate the issue, however I don't have enough knowledge to make use of this information. • Getting past dates in HP-UX with ksh

    - by Alejandro Atienza Ramos
    Ok, so I need to translate a script from a nice linux & bash configuration to ksh in hp-ux. Each and every command expects a different syntax and i want to kill myself. But let's skip the rant. This is part of my script anterior=`date +"%Y%0m" -d '1 month ago'` I basically need to get a past date in format 201002. Never mind the thing that, in the new environment, %0m means "no zeroes", while actually in the other one it means "yes, please put that zero on my string". It doesn't even accept the "1 month ago". I've read the man date for HP-UX and it seems you just can't do date arithmetic with it. I've been looking around for a while but all i find are lengthy solutions. I can't quite understand that such a typical administrative task like adding dates needs so much fuss. Isn't there a way to convert my one-liner to, well, i don't know, another one? Come on, i've seen proposed solutions that used bc, had thirty plus lines and magic number all over the script. The simplest solutions seem to use perl... but i don't know how to modify them, as they're quite arcane. Thanks!

  • Display real time years, months, weeks and days between 2 days in JavaScript

    - by alex
    This is what I've coded it up, and it appears to work. window.onload = function() { var currentSpan = document.getElementById('current'); var minute = 60000, hour = minute * 60, day = hour * 24, week = day * 7, month = week * 4, year = day * 365; var start = new Date(2009, 6, 1); setInterval(function() { var now = new Date(); var difference = now - start; var years = Math.floor(difference / year), months = Math.floor((difference - (years * year)) / month), weeks = Math.floor((difference - (months * month + years * year)) / week), days = Math.floor((difference - (weeks * week + months * month + years * year)) / day); currentSpan.innerHTML = 'Since has passed: ' + years + ' years, ' + months + ' months, ' + weeks + ' weeks and ' + days + ' days'; }, 500); }; This seems to update my span fine, and all the numbers look correct. However, the code looks quite ugly. Do I really need to set up faux constants like that, and then do all that math to calculate what I want? It's been a while since I've worked with the Date object. Is this the best way to do this?

  • Returning an array of culture formatted dates C# MVC3

    - by user1875797
    I'm new to programming and trying to do an exercise that formats a date to the Thai culture in a variety of formats this is what I have for my code so far: public String[] FormatAsSpecified(DateTime theDate, String theCulture, String[] formats) { String[] dateResults = new String[formats.Length]; CultureInfo culture = CultureInfo.GetCultureInfo(theCulture); for (int i = 0; i < formats.Length; i++) { String culture_formatted_date = theDate.ToString(formats[i], culture); dateResults[i] = culture_formatted_date; } return dateResults; } This is the test method that goes with it: [TestMethod] public void FormatAsSpecifiedReturnsDateLiteralsInSpecifiedFormatForAllStandardFormatStrings() { //Arrange var controller = new DateController(); var theDate = new DateTime(2014, 2, 14, 9, 15, 32, 376); String theCulture = "th-TH"; // Array of all supported standard date and time format specifiers. String[] formats = { "d", "D", "f", "F", "g", "G", "m", "o", "r", "s", "t", "T", "u", "U", "Y" }; //Corresponding date literals for the standard Thai regional settings String[] expectedResults = {"14/2/2557" , "14 ?????????? 2557" , "14 ?????????? 2557 9:15" , "14 ?????????? 2557 9:15:32" , "14/2/2557 9:15" , "14/2/2557 9:15:32" , "14 ??????????" , "2014-02-14T09:15:32.3760000" , "Fri, 14 Feb 2014 09:15:32 GMT" , "2014-02-14T09:15:32" , "9:15" , "9:15:32" , "2014-02-14 09:15:32Z" , "??????????? 14 ?????????? 2014 9:15:32" , "?????????? 2557"}; //Act String[] actualResults = new String[15]; for (int i = 0; i < formats.Length; i++) { actualResults[i] = controller.FormatAsSpecified(theDate, theCulture, formats[i]); } //Assert CollectionAssert.AreEqual(expectedResults, actualResults); } I get an error in the test method at 'controller.FormatAsSpecified(theDate, theCulture, formats[i]);' that says "Argument 3, cannot convert from 'string' to 'string[]'" What am I doing wrong?

  • Interpolating data points in Excel

    - by Niels Basjes
    Hi, I'm sure this is the kind of problem other have solved many times before. A group of people are going to do measurements (Home energy usage to be exact). All of them will do that at different times and in different intervals. So what I'll get from each person is a set of {date, value} pairs where there are dates missing in the set. What I need is a complete set of {date, value} pairs where for each date withing the range a value is known (either measured or calculated). I expect that a simple linear interpolation would suffice for this project. If I assume that it must be done in Excel. What is the best way to interpolate in such a dataset (so I have a value for every day) ? Thanks. NOTE: When these datasets are complete I'll determine the slope (i.e. usage per day) and from that we can start doing home-to-home comparisons. ADDITIONAL INFO After first few suggestions: I do not want to manually figure out where the holes are in my measurement set (too many incomplete measurement sets!!). I'm looking for something (existing) automatic to do that for me. So if my input is {2009-06-01, 10} {2009-06-03, 20} {2009-06-06, 110} Then I expect to automatically get {2009-06-01, 10} {2009-06-02, 15} {2009-06-03, 20} {2009-06-04, 50} {2009-06-05, 80} {2009-06-06, 110} Yes, I can write software that does this. I am just hoping that someone already has a "ready to run" software (Excel) feature for this (rather generic) problem.

  • SQL - Query range between two dates (NON-VBA)

    - by Mohgeroth
    I see various topics on this around stack overflow but none that fit the contect of MS-Access... Given a starting date and an ending date, is there a way through SQL to return records for each given month within the time frame? EG: Between #1/1/2010# and #12/31/2010# results #1/4/2010# #1/11/2010# ..... #12/27/2010# Restrictions MS-Access 2003 :No Case/Loops inside the SQL (IIF statements are good) This is a view only, NO VBA will be used since the data will not be tampered with. Disconnected recordset is my last option. I would prefer to find out theres some way to call your customized functions in the SQL to help return these values... some class stored on a global scope while you iterate through this date range maybe... Is this possible? I see many no's, but if there was a way to pass a value into a function I could find a way to make this work. Sad that I don't have a way to simulate a stored procedure without using a d/c recordset, at least that I know of... any experts out there know a way?

  • How can I make my code work in a GUI using Swing in Java?

    - by Razor Shadow
    I'm making a tool that does multiple things, and I'm onto the last feature for now: You type in a date and it tells you what day of the week it would be on that date. So I have two problems here: I can't use I can't use arguments, it doesn't like them On the last line, I can't use jTextArea2.setText(d0); because it doesn't like that either... My code is here: public static void main(String[] args) { int d = Integer.parseInt(args[0]); int m = Integer.parseInt(args[1]); int y = Integer.parseInt(args[2]); int y0 = y - (14 - m) / 12; int x = y0 + y0/4 - y0/100 + y0/400; int m0 = m + 12 * ((14 - m) / 12) - 2; int d0 = (d + x + (31*m0)/12) % 7; System.out.println("Sunday = 0\nMonday = 1\nTuesday = 2\nWednesday = 3\nThursday = 4\nFriday = 5\nSaturday = 6\nThis date is on a:"); System.out.println(d0); Basically, this code was at first for use with the console, and now I want to implement it into a Swing GUI app. I'm only a week into learning Java, so excuse me if the problem is obvious or easy to fix... But can anyone figure out how to work it? Thanks!

  • HTML to XAML Conversion, Display HTML in RichTextBox

    - by Erika
    Hi, unfortunately im REALLY stuck on this and was wondering in anyone knows how to work around this. I have some html text which i want displayed in a WPF RichTextBox. At the moment, i'm using some helper APIs found http://blogs.msdn.com/wpfsdk/archive/2006/05/25/606317.aspx to convert HTML to XAML. So at the moment i have a xaml data string, but i cant see to find a way to display this correctly within the richtextbox :s i have been trying the following: string xamlData = HTMLConverter.HtmlToXamlConverter.ConvertHtmlToXaml(sBody,true); FlowDocument result = XamlReader.Load(new System.Xml.XmlTextReader(new StringReader(xamlData))) as FlowDocument; but this is crashing on the XamlReader.. Any other way will do, i just need to display an HTML string in this RichTextBox or something else! Please Help!

  • glm matrix conversion for DirectX

    - by niktehpui
    For on of the coursework specification I need to work with DirectX, so I tried to implement a DirectX Renderer in my small cross-platform framework (to have it optionally available for Windows). Since I want to stick to my dependencies I want use glm for vector/matrix/quaternions math. The vectors seem to be fully compatible with DirectX, but the glm::mat4 is not working properly in DirectX Effects Framework. I assumed the reason is that DirectX uses row majors layouts and OpenGL column majors (although if I remember right internally in HLSL DX uses column major as well), so I transposed the matrix, but I still get no proper results compared to using XNA-Math. XNA-Version of the code (works): XMMATRIX world = XMMatrixIdentity(); XMMATRIX view = XMMatrixLookAtLH(XMVectorSet(5.0, 5.0, 5.0, 1.0f), XMVectorZero(), XMVectorSet(0.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f)); XMMATRIX proj = XMMatrixPerspectiveFovLH(0.25f*3.14f, 1.25f, 1.0f, 1000.0f); XMMATRIX worldViewProj = world*view*proj; m_fxWorldViewProj->SetMatrix(reinterpret_cast<float*>(&worldViewProj)); This works flawlessly and displays the expected colored cube. GLM-Version (does not work): glm::mat4 world(1.0f); glm::mat4 view = glm::lookAt(glm::vec3(5.0f, 5.0f, 5.0f), glm::vec3(0.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f), glm::vec3(0.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f)); glm::mat4 proj = glm::perspective(0.25f*3.14f, 1.25f, 1.0f, 1000.0f); glm::mat4 worldViewProj = glm::transpose(world*view*proj); m_fxWorldViewProj->SetMatrix(glm::value_ptr(worldViewProj)); Displays nothing, screen stays black. I really would like to stick to glm on all platforms.

  • Convert Video and Remove Commercials in Windows 7 Media Center with MCEBuddy 1.1

    - by DigitalGeekery
    Today look at MCEBuddy for Windows 7 Media Center. This handy app automatically takes your recorded TV files and converts them to MP4, AVI, WMV, or MPEG format. It even has the option to cut out those annoying commercials during the conversion process. Installation and Configuration Download and extract MCE Buddy. (Download link below) Run the setup.exe file and take all the default settings.   Open MCEBuddy Configuration by going to Start > All Programs > MCEBuddy > MCEBuddy Configuration.   Video Paths The MCEBuddy application is comprised of a single window. The first step you’ll want to take is to define your Source and Destination paths. The “Source” will most likely be your Recorded TV directory. The Destination should NOT be the same as the Source folder. Note: The Recorded TV directory in Windows 7 Media Center will only display and play WTV & DVR-MS files. To watch the converted MP4, AVI, WMV, or MPEG files in Windows Media Center you’ll need to add them to your Video Library or Movie Library. Video Conversion Next, choose your preferred format for conversion from the “Convert to” drop down list. The default is MP4 with the H.264 codec. You’ll find a wide variety of formats. The first set of conversion options in the drop down list will resize the video to 720 pixels wide. The next two sections maintain the original size, and the final section is for a variety of portable devices.   Next, you’ll see a group of check boxes below the “Convert to” drop down list. The Commercial Skipping option will cut the commercials while converting the file. Sort By Series will create a sub-folder in your Destination folder for each TV show. Delete Original will delete the WTV file after conversion is complete. (This option is not recommended unless you are sure your files are converting properly and you no longer need the WTV file.) Start Minimized is ideal if you want to run MCEBuddy on Windows startup. Note: MCEBuddy installs and uses Comskip for commercial cutting by default. However, if you have ShowAnalyzer installed, it will use that application instead. Advanced Options To choose a specific time of day to perform the conversions, click the checkbox under the “Advanced Options,” and select the starting and ending times for conversion. For example, convert between 2 hours and 5 hours would be between 2 am and 5am. If you want MCEBuddy to constantly look for and immediately convert new recordings, leave the box unchecked.   The “Video age” option lets you choose a specific number of days to wait before performing the conversion. This can be useful if you want to watch the recordings first and delete those you don’t wish to convert. You can also choose the “Sub Directories” if you’d like MCEBuddy to convert files that are in a sub-folder in your “Source” directory. Second Conversion As you might expect, this option allows MCEBuddy to perform a second conversion of your file. This can be useful if you want to use your first conversion to create a higher quality MP4 or AVI file for playback on a larger screen, and a second one for a portable device such as Zune or iPhone. The same options from the first conversion are also available for the second. You’ll want to choose a separate Destination folder for the second conversion.   Start and Monitor Progress To start converting your video files, simply press the “Start” button at the bottom. You’ll be able to follow the progress in the “Current Activity” section. When all the video files have finished converting, or there are no current files to convert, MCEBuddy will display a “Started – Idle” status. Click “Stop” if you don’t want MCEBuddy to continue scanning for new files.   Conclusion MCEBuddy 1.1 will convert all WTV files in it’s source folder. If you want to pick and choose which recordings to convert, you may want to define a source folder different than the Recorded TV folder and then just copy or move the files you wish to convert into the new source folder. The conversion process does take a good bit of time. If you choose the commercial skipping and second conversion options it can take several hours to fully convert one TV recording. Overall, MCEBuddy makes a nice Media Center addition for those that want to save some space with smaller size files, convert Recorded TV files for their portable device, or automatically remove commercials. This is an excel sheet which has only a single column filled for each row. (explanation : all CITY categories fall under V21 , all handset categories fall under CityJ and so on ) V21 CITYR CITYJ HandsetS HandsetHW HandsetHA LOWER_AGE<=20 LOWER_AGE>20 SMS_COUNT<=0 RECHARGE_MRP<=122 RECHARGE_MRP>122 SMS_COUNT>0 I need to change this format to a double column format with parent and child category format. therefore the output sheet would be V21 CITYR V21 CITYJ CITYJ HandsetS CITYJ HandsetHW CITYJ HandsetHA HandsetHA LOWER_AGE<=20 HandsetHA LOWER_AGE>20 LOWER_AGE>20 SMS_COUNT<=0 SMS_COUNT<=0 RECHARGE_MRP<=122 SMS_COUNT<=0 RECHARGE_MRP>122 LOWER_AGE>20 SMS_COUNT>0 the datas are huge so i cant do them manually . how can i automate this ?

  • BlazeDS - Conversion from ArrayList <BaseClass> on java side to Actionscript

    - by user294280
    Hi, So we have a java class with two ArrayLists of generics. It looks like public class Blah { public ArrayList<ConcreteClass> a; public ArrayList<BaseClass> b; } by using [ArrayElementType('ConcreteClass')] in the actionscript class, we are able to get all the "a"s converted fine. However with "b", since the actual class coming across the line is a heterogeneous mix of classes like BaseClassImplementation1, BaseClassImplementation2 etc, it gets typed as an object. Is there a way to convert it to the specific concrete class assuming that a strongly typed AS version of the java class exists on the client side thanks for your help! Regis
