• In NHibernate, how do I combine two DetachedCriteria instances

  My scenario is this: I have a base NHibernate query to run of the form (I've coded it using DetachedCriteria , but describe it here using SQL syntax): SELECT * FROM Items I INNER JOIN SubItems S on S.FK = I.Key The user interface to show the results of this join allows the user to specify additional criteria: Say: I.SomeField = 'UserValue'. Now, I need the final load command to be: SELECT * FROM Items I INNER JOIN SubItems S on S.FK = I.Key WHERE I.SomeField = 'UserValue' My problem is: I've created a DetachedCriteria with the 'static' aspect of the query (the top join) and the UI creates a DetachedCriteria with the 'dynamic' component of the query. I need to combine the two into a final query that I can execute on the NHibernate session. DefaultCriteria.Add() takes an ICriterion (which are created using the Expression class, and maybe other classes I don't know of which could be the solution to my problem). Does anyone know how I might do what I want?

• Google index vs asp.net url routing

  I've made the change from querystring asp.net webforms application to an url routing one. Now I'm trying to let google know that there's a new set of urls to be aware of. The G has indexed 133 out of 179 new urls sent in sitemap.xml, but the site:mistral.hr command returns the old querystring version of the links. This could partly be so because I left the functionality of the old querystring version of the site(for backwards compatibility), and haven't done any 301 redirects(nor do I know how to achieve them in my shared hosting account). The old querystring and the new url routing both point to the same Default.aspx page.

• awk and cat - How to ignore multiple lines?

  I need to extract Voip log from a D-Link router, so I've setup a little python script that executes a command in this router via telnet. My script does a "cat /var/log/calls.log" and returns the result, however... it also sends non-important stuff, like the BusyBox banner, etc... How can I ignore lines from 1 to 6 and the last 2 ? This is my current output: yaba@foobar:/stuff$ python calls.py BusyBox v1.00 (2009.04.09-11:17+0000) Built-in shell (msh) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.   I'm trying to define any simple function that spans multiple lines in ghci, take the following as an example: let abs n | n >= 0 = n | otherwise = -n So far I've tried pressing Enter after the first line: Prelude> let abs n | n >= 0 = n Prelude> | otherwise = -n <interactive>:1:0: parse error on input `|' I've also attempted to use the :{ and :} commands but I don't get far: Prelude> :{ unknown command ':{' use :? for help. I'm using GHC Interactive version 6.6 for Haskell 98 on Linux, what am I missing?

• How can I convert .eps files to .jpg in ASP.NET?

  I am trying to convert uploaded .eps files to .jpg in my ASP.net application and I am having a hard time finding a .net library that will let me do this. I have tried using the ImageMagick libraries, but I don't have root access to the server in order to install the standard binaries, or run the command line executables. I have also tried the slightly modified project from CodeProject, but it was designed in VS2005 and I have VS2008 and 2010 and I think I run into some compatibility issues while trying to compile and execute the project. Is there a simpler solution available that just works natively in .NET? Thanks, Mike

• midl.exe cannot load mscorlib.tlb

  I'm trying to use midl to turn an idl file into a tlb. However, when I try I get this warning: warning MIDL2015: failed to load tlb in importlib : mscorlib.tlb and I then get a subsequent error: error MIDL2337 : unsatisfied forward declaration : _Object..... I'm certain that the error is due to the first warning. I've tried the same command on a different machine and it succeeds, so I know that the idl file is correct. I've tried uninstalling the .NET framework and reinstalling it in the hope that that would fix things, but it had no effect. So my question is, what do I need to fix on my machine to allow midl to locate mscorlib.tlb once more?

• Symfony2 trans_default_domain is not working

  At the end of http://symfony.com/doc/current/book/translation.html#twig-templates I read about {% trans_default_domain "app" %} to set a translation domain for a whole template. But for me it does not work. Calling app/console translation:extract de --dir=src/ --output-dir=app/Resources/translations --output-format=xliff --keep Just puts all messages in the messages.de.xliff file. But if I set the domain manually for a given label like {{ label.name|trans({}, 'app') }} And execute the same extract command as above, then I get a new file app.de.xliff Is there anything more to do when using trans_default_domain?

• JavaEE in netbeans giving BUILD FAILED error upon deployment

BUILD FAILED (total time: 1 second) And then in the command prompt when I run asant run in the appropriate directory, I get: C:\Users\Derek\Documents\NetBeansProjects\EJBProject\nbproject\build-impl.xml:19: Class org.apache.tools.ant.taskdefs.condition.Not doesn't support the nested "antversion" element. Do you know why this would be? Why won't netbeans deploy my application so I can run and test it?

It works great and have used it many times. the data is perfect, but doing it from inside my website would be better. Thanks

  Hi everyone, I am working on creating a Google Chrome extension. We have it included in an automated build system and since it is constantly being worked on we need a solution to be able to package the extension as a .crx file which according to http://code.google.com/chrome/extensions/packaging.html can easily be scripted. My question is after packaging the extension is there a known method either through the command-line or some other programmatic way, to install the newly packaged extension in an automated manner? If someone knows how or has any reference material that I can be pointed towards I would greatly appreciate any help that is offered. Thank you.

  hi , i would like to program some graphic figures such as line, circle,etc. i have used turboc++ 3.0 for dos graphics. i would like to do the same with the compilers dev c++ or code blocks or vc++. i would like to implement dda and bresenhems line and circle drawing algorithm. how should i go about implementing these programs through these compilers (not the command line tools). i have a really vague picture of graphics programming.please help.. thanks in advance. please note : i have a nvidia graphics card 1gb.. so i cannot use dos graphics (i think the card is the reason).

  I have a REST api that's ambiguous, something like (this isn't the specific problem, just gives an idea of the ambiguity): /toplevel/${customer_number}/some_command/more stuff /toplevel/${customer_number}/${some_product_name_anything_goes}/more stuff We've been getting away with it because our .htaccess file lists the more specific 'command' form before the general ${product_name} version, and the first match wins. Now though, we're writing a WADL, and, as you might expect, we're having trouble with our chosen tool consuming the WADL, because the API is ambiguous. My questions are: a) Does the WADL spec speak to whether they can validly represent ambiguous APIs? b) Tool support - in your experience, do tools choke on ambiguous WADLs? (if ambi. WADLs are allowed then those are weak tools but, you'd want to be on the safe side) c) Just any experience with ambiguous REST apis, most especially wrt WADLs, really. For the curious, here's the latest spec: As far as I can tell it doesn't specifically address this, I guess it really comes down to how tools handle it. Thanks.

• Is there a PHP refactoring tool to tell what functions are never called?

  I have a large codebase which has suffered many changes over the years. I would like to remove the functions that are no longer called or relevant. Is there a tool that will analysis the codebase and determine if a method is ever used? I'm also using phpunit/xdebug which reports which functions have not been run for the unit tests, however coverage is only at 55% and will require a massive amount of work to bring it up to 100% (I'm working on it!). Anything that was a command line tool would be extra good as I could hook it into hudson (CI).

  I'm using MikTeX 2.8 edition, and installed the hungarian language support and hyphenation files. Using the standard LaTeX command they work fine, but when I try to use pdfLaTeX, they don't get loaded and I get the (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\generic\babel\magyar.ldf (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\generic\babel\babel.def) Package babel /b/c12/cWarning:/b/c0/c No hyphenation patterns were loaded for (babel) the language `Magyar' (babel) I will use the patterns loaded for \language=0 instead. message. Using latex it works fine: (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\latex\00miktex\bblopts.cfg) (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\generic\babel\magyar.ldf (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\generic\babel\babel.def))) I tried updating the FNDB and the Formats, but to no avail.   Hello all, I have come across this great function/command. Colour to RGB, you can do this: col2rgb("peachpuff") //returns hex It will return one hex value. I want to extend this using Perl, Python or PHP but I want to be able to pass in, for example, "yellow" and the function returns all types of yellows - their hex/rgb/?/etc value. I already have a quick solution implemented, which involves mapping colour names to hex values but now I want to get more precise and use some formulas etc to determine what's what. However, as usual, I don't have a clue on how to do this! So I appreciate any implementation advice on how to do this. Thanks all

  I just downloaded and ran the boost installer for version 1.42 (from boostpro.com), and set up my project according to the getting started guide. • TCP connection lost problems in c#

  Hi: In my application, I have a server listening on a port on localhost for client connection. Then I have clients running and establishes connection with the server. I used tcpListner in c# for the server and the clients were written in perl using Inet function. The connection between clients and server were established without a problem and a message from client is received by the server. However, after about 3 to 4 seconds, the connection is lost. I use netstat -a to see if the status of the connection is still "established". The result is "Close_wait" after I use netstat command on DOS. How can I debug this problem? Which side is causing the lost of connection? Thanks

  Hi All, I am trying to encode video in h.264 that when split with Apples HTTP Live Streaming tools media file segmenter will pass the media file validator I am getting two errors on the split MPEG-TS file WARNING: Media segment contains a video track but does not contain any IDR access unit with a SPS and a PPS. WARNING: 7 samples (17.073 %) do not have timestamps in track 257 (avc1). After hours of research I think the "IDR" warning relates to not having keyframes in the right place on the segmented MPEG-TS file so in my ffmpeg command I set -keyint_min 1 to ensure keyframes where at every frame, but this didn't work. Although it would be great to get an answer, if anyone can shed any light on what a "IDR access unit with a SPS and a PPS" is or what the timestamps warning means I would be very grateful, thanks.

I want, in VB.Net, to get the 'COMMANDHERE' part of the string, how would I go about doing this? I have this so far: Dim temp As String = WebBrowser1.Document.Body.ToString Dim startIndex As Integer = temp.IndexOf("!#__KT__#!") + 1 Dim endIndex As Integer = temp.IndexOf("!#__KT__#!", startIndex) Dim extraction As String = temp.Substring(startIndex, endIndex - startIndex).Trim TextBox1.Text = extraction However this only removes the LAST string eg: #_KT_#! COMMAND. Any help is appreciated!
