  Hi, Since Ajax requests are limited for security reasons, there's not much to it, just follow the rules eh .. but I've crossed with this : https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Same_origin_policy_for_JavaScript It's written that you can "bypass" those rules, in case you're working with subdomains of the same domain, with the following javascript line : document.domain = "company.com"; I haven't tried it yet, since I don't know if this only works (perfectly works) with any other browser, or at least the major ones. • Good C++ Debugging/IDE Environment for Linux?

  I have a friend who is trying to make the switch to Linux, but is hung up on the apparent lack of debugging/IDE environments for C++, especially as they relate to template programming. He has been using visual studio for years and is maybe a little spoiled by their awesome IDE. Does anyone have any good suggestions for an environment where he can, under Linux, develop and debug with all of the usual things (Breakpoints, line highlighting for compilation errors, step in/over/out/etc, etc) that he's accustomed to?   So here is my code if (!File.Exists(pathName)) { File.Create(pathName); } StreamWriter outputFile = new StreamWriter(pathName,true); But whenever I run the program the first time the path with file gets created. However once I get to the StreamWriter line my program crashes because it says my fie is in use by another process. Is there something I'm missing between the File.Create and the StreamWriter statements?

  I'm trying to set up Subversion on Ubuntu Linux. It seems to be working, except that when I made one change and tried svn status, I found about 100 files had been changed, in the .metadata directory. My ~/.subversion/config file currently contains the following line: global-ignores = *.o *.lo *.la *.al .libs *.so *.so.[0-9]* *.a *.pyc *.pyo *.rej *~ .*.swp .DS_Store What do I need to add to ignore the .metadata files? The directory under consideration is used by Eclipse for Python development using PyDev, if that matters.

And we are developing a application to evaluate programming assignments of student ( for 1st year student level) I just want to know how to integrate C++ compiler using C# code to compile C++ code. In our case we are loading a student C++ code into text area, then with a click on button we want to compile the code. And if there any compilation errors it will be displayed on text area nearby. (Interface is attached herewith.) And finally it able to execute the code if there aren't any compilation errors. And results will be displayed in console. We were able to do this with a C#(C# code will be loaded to text area intead of C++ code) code using inbuilt compiler. But still not able to do for C# code. Can anyone suggest a method to do this? It is possible to integrate external compiler to VS C# code? If possible how to achieve it? Very grateful if anyone will contributing to solve this matter?   Hello Im trying to make a chat program like skype in c# and having some trouble gavring/updating the messages, what i tryed was foreach value in a database add it into listbox1, and i did a timer every second do that.. but it kept adding it again every second repeating like it was on loop So then i sat down and thought how can i do this, so i come up with webclient download a list of messages by php and foreach line in the webclient add it to a listbox! is there any way of doing this?
