  Using mysql version 5.0.18 I am creating a table TT, Client 1 set autocommit = false; start transaction Create table TT select * from PT; PT has tow columns pk bigint not null,name varchar(20) Client 2 set autocommit = false start transaction insert into PT values(123,'text'); While inserting a row in PT , it is waiting for the table Client 1 to commit. I am unable to insert the row. why? Is it possible to insert the row without waiting for Client 1 to commit.

  Hi, I have this array: string[,] productData = new string[5,7]; I bind it to a repeater and a call a method like: <img src="<%# getPhoto1WithReplace(Container.ItemIndex) %>" which is defined like: public String getPhoto1WithReplace(Object itemIndex) { int intItemIndex = Int32.Parse(itemIndex.ToString()); if (productData[intItemIndex, 3] != null) return this.ResolveUrl(productData[intItemIndex, 3].ToString()); else return String.Empty; } I do not understand why it calls getPhoto1WithReplace with itemIndex as 5. My array has 5 indexes: 0,1,2,3,4, so HOW Container.ItemIndex can be 5...?

• C IPC waiting for child

  So I have a program which creates a child process and executes a command (for example, ls). The parent will then use pipes to send to and get from the child. This works fine when I'm inputting commands myself from the command line. However, when the input comes from a file, it seems like the child doesn't have enough time to run and I get NULL when reading from the pipe - even though there will be information coming from it. Short of using sleep(), is there a better way to make sure the child has run before trying to read from it? Thanks a lot!

• Windows Phone 7 HttpRequest Unable to see true Error Code and response details

  I have to call a somewhat broken API from a Windows Phone 7 application. The API returns a 302 error and a cookie to the authentication request. I've tried every way I've been able to find in the MSDN documentation for using ClientHTTP instead of BrowserHTTP (registering the prefix, using the call to explicitly create a ClientHTTP using Request), but the 302 is getting translated to a 404 and I'm not seeing the cookies on the response. I've tried a WebClient, I've tried an HttpRequest and it is always the translated error message. If I allocate a CookieContainer for the HttpRequest, I get a null argument exception when the client stack is parsing the returned message. I can see that the response is coming back as expected via Fiddler.

Some nodes will be good XML and will go into an XElement, however, some will not. In the CATCH, I'd like to now only catch the standard XmlException stuff... I'd also like to catch an extract of the current Xml and a string. However, if I do any kind of READ operation on the node before I pass it to the XElement, it moves the reader forward. How can get a "snapshot" of the contents of the OuterXml of the reader without interfering with it's position?

  right now I am trying to Setup Continuouse Integration - Delivery for a basic WCF Service, which will be hosted on a Microsoft Azure VM. The Project is Version Controlled through Visual Studio Online. So I installed Jenkins (also on the Azure VM), TFS plugin etc. and started the first Test Build: As Server URL I used "[VSO Adress]/DefaultCollection" and for Login purposes my Microsoft Account (I can Access VSO with that).   I currently have a abstract controller class that I all my controllers inherit from. In my master page I want to be able to access some data that will be in Session and also the currently user (IPrinciple). I read that I could use the contructor of by abstract base controller class, that is I could do something like public BaseController() { ViewData["SomeData"] = Session["SomeData"]; ViewData["UserName"] = this.User.Identity.Name; } I could then access ViewData["UserName"] etc from my master page. My problem is that both Session and User are null at this point. Does anybody know of a different approach? Thanks in advance.

  I am using Silverlight 4 and RIA services. When I try to insert into my database, I get the following error: "Submit operation failed validation. Please inspect Entity.ValidationErrors for each entity in EntitiesInError for more information." Upon inspecting the ValidationErrors, I see: "The Version field is required." Isn't the Version field updated and maintained by the framework? If so, why is it null? If not, how am I supposed to set it?

A custom layout includes a photo for the recipe , Now I've some problems with the performance of viewing and scrolling the Listview although it has only 10 records (Target is 150). sometimes i get this error java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: bitmap size exceeds VM budget , I've tried to implement the Async task but i failed to do it. • node_load in drupal gets incorrect node when you are NOT logged in

  Hi All, i have a module and i am using node_load(array('nid' = arg(1))); now the problem is that this function keep getting its data for node_load from DB cache. how can i force this function to not use DB cache or static value? Example my link is http://mydomain.com/node/344983 now: $node=node_load(array('nid'=arg(1)),null,true); echo $node-nid; output: 435632 which is a randomly node id (available in the database) and everytime i ctrl+F5 my browser, i get new nid!! Note: if i am logged in, it gives the result correctly, but this problem happens only when i am browsing the website as an anonymous user i really appreciate any idea!! Thanks

• How to persist non-trivial fields in Play Framework

  I am trying to persist complex objects using Ebeans in Play Framework (2.03). In particular, I've created a class that contains a field of type weka.classifier.Classifier (Weka is a popular machine learning library - see http://weka.sourceforge.net/doc/weka/classifiers/Classifier.html). Classifier implements Serializeable so I hoped that I can get away with something like @Entity @Table(name = "classifiers") public class ClassifierData extends Model { @Id public Long id; public Classifier classifier; } However, the Evolutions script suggests the following database structure: create table classifiers ( id bigint auto_increment not null, constraint pk_classifiers primary key (id)) ) In other words, it ignores the field of type Classifier. (The database is MySQL if it makes any difference) What should I do to store complex serializeable objects using Ebean/Evolutions/PlayFramework?
