• node_load in drupal gets incorrect node when you are NOT logged in

  Hi All, i have a module and i am using node_load(array('nid' = arg(1))); now the problem is that this function keep getting its data for node_load from DB cache. how can i force this function to not use DB cache or static value? Example my link is http://mydomain.com/node/344983 now: $node=node_load(array('nid'=arg(1)),null,true); echo $node-nid; output: 435632 which is a randomly node id (available in the database) and everytime i ctrl+F5 my browser, i get new nid!! Note: if i am logged in, it gives the result correctly, but this problem happens only when i am browsing the website as an anonymous user i really appreciate any idea!! Thanks

• Java Hibernate id auto increment

  Hy I'v a little problem with hibernate on netbeans. I've a table with an Auto increment id : CREATE TABLE "DVD" ( "DVD_ID" INT not null primary key GENERATED ALWAYS AS IDENTITY (START WITH 1, INCREMENT BY 1), "TITLE" VARCHAR(150), "COM" LONG VARCHAR, "COVER" VARCHAR(150) ); But this auto increment is not properly detected with Reverse Engineering. I get a map file with this : <id name="dvdId" type="int"> <column name="DVD_ID" /> <generator class="assigned" /> </id> i've looked on google and on this site ... foud some stuf but i'm still stuck.. i've tried to add insert="false" update="false" on the map file but i get back : Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Attribute "insert" must be declared for element type "id".   Hi All, In my Asp.Net project I wanna use Property Auto-wiring, e.g. for my ILogger. Basically I placed Property into my base classes. One for Page, one for UserControl. Like below. public class UserControlBase : UserControl { public ILogger CLogger { get; set; } .... } However when calling in inherited control, logger is null. I checked the container and it'a definitely set. If this.styleSheet is initialized to new StyleSheet() to avoid this issue, then the TextArea instance does not seem to recognize any of the HTML tags that can be used with the htmlText property. • Problem with NHibernate and saving.

  When I do this: Cat x = Session.Load<Cat>(123); x.Name = "fritz"; Session.Flush(); NHibernate detects the change and UPDATEs the DB. But, when I do this: Cat x = new Cat(); Session.Save(x); x.Name = "fritz"; Session.Flush(); I get NULL for name, because that's what was there when I called Session.Save(). Why doesn't NHibernate detect the changes - or better yet, take the values for the INSERT statement at the time of Flush()?

• For simple C cmd programs: how to add "program executed in 12,345 seconds" ?

  I'm a windows user, and I'm learning C. I use Codeblocks and visual c++ 2008 express at home to write simple C command line programs (I'm a beginner) and I find really useful when codeblocks adds a few lines at the end with the time it takes (example: "Process returned 0 (0x0) execution time : 6.848 s"). I want to add this functionality to the .exe so I can 'benchmark' or 'test' the program on a few computers. I tried using time(NULL) but it only works with 1 second precision. I also found very interesting answers here (I'm actually looking for the same thing): http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2173323/calculating-time-by-the-c-code The solution proposed by Mark Wilkins, works fine on visual c++ 2008 express on my windows 64 bit PC, but the .exe does not work anywhere else. Am I doing something wrong? I would like a method to count elapsed wall time for my programs, that must have 32bit compatibility. Thanks in advance!

In particular, I've created a class that contains a field of type weka.classifier.Classifier (Weka is a popular machine learning library - see http://weka.sourceforge.net/doc/weka/classifiers/Classifier.html). Classifier implements Serializeable so I hoped that I can get away with something like @Entity @Table(name = "classifiers") public class ClassifierData extends Model { @Id public Long id; public Classifier classifier; } However, the Evolutions script suggests the following database structure: create table classifiers ( id bigint auto_increment not null, constraint pk_classifiers primary key (id)) ) In other words, it ignores the field of type Classifier.   I have a page that contains several forms, by submitting each one of them, next form becomes visible. the last form contains a recaptcha validator, my problem starts here, if i declare an action result for that page like this [CaptchaValidator] public ActionResult myAction(SomeModel model, string lang) { return View("towing", model); } I'm getting an argument null exeption parameter "Challenge", which in fact means that you have to POST those fields from recaptcha for the validation to appear and I cannot post anyting untill the last for is visible and posted. then I've added a news ActionResult like myActionValidated, defined a route for it like: mypage/validate pointing to that actionresult and then i don't know where to go from here, i want simply do display a message if the reCaptcha did not validate and redirect to a URL if it succeeded.   Hi, I wrote some C++ code in which I used Templates. Since I used templates, I could not initialize a couple of template class variables. I got an warning message from valgrind saying Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialized value(s). So is there a way to get around this and/or initialize template variables?? I couldn't think of a way to do it because even if I initailize them as NULL, when I use string data type a run time failure occurres. Thank You!

  Hi, I'm having some issues trying to make a HTTP PUT (or POST) using WebClient against a MVC 2 controller. The exception is: The parameters dictionary contains a null entry for parameter 'total' of non-nullable type 'System.Int32' for method 'System.Web.Mvc.ActionResult Company(System.Guid, Int32, Int32, System.String)' The controller action is: [HttpPut] public ActionResult Company(Guid uid, int id, int total, string url) The route is: routes.MapRoute( "CompanySet", "job/active/{uid}/company/{id}", new { controller = "Job", action = "Company" } ); As you may see, what I want is to send the 'uid' and 'id' parameters via url, but the 'total' and 'url' parameters as part of the PUT or POST body. I've also tried to merge the latter parameters into a class (i.e., CompanySetMessage), doing it no longer raises an exception but I dont receive the values on the server side. Any ideas? Thank you!

  I have a web page that contains a "div" element. On the page, there is javascript to reference the div: document.getElementById('divId'). This was working fine until another developer redesigned the page to use an ASP master page. Now, document.getElementById('divId') returns null. It appears that ASP.net prepends some characters to the names of elements within contents forms when you use a master page. How can I know what the id of the div is when the page loads? Update Allow me to give a specific example to clarify the question: My page had a div with ID divNotice. After changing my page to use a master page, I see when I print the source to the page that renders that the div ID is ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_divNotice. My question is, how am I supposed to know what the div ID is going to be when the framework is done with it?

• WPF webbrowser - get HTML downloaded?

  I'm listening to the WPF webbrowser's LoadCompleted event. It has some navigation arguments which provide details regarding the navigation. However, e.Content is always null. Am I paying attention to the wrong event here? How can I fetch the HTML that was just downloaded as string? I tried some things which I would consider hacks, but they return a string of HTML, even though that was not the string downloaded. For instance, with that method when I go to a page which just sends me the string abc, I get the result <document><body>abc</body></document> or something similar. I would prefer not getting into any more hacks than nescessary to get this running.

  I have a parent master table that is generic enough to hold the common information of the children. Since the children were substantially different, we created separate tables for them. So I have something like this: tblMaster -------- MasterID int Name varchar(50) --Common to all children and there are a bunch of fields like this ChildType int -- Type of Child either ChildOne or ChildTwo ChildID int -- need to store ChildOneID or ChildTwoID depending on type of Child, so that i can refer to children tblChild1 -------- ChildOneID int IDENTITY tblChild2 --------- ChildTwoID int IDENTITY Should I have a ChildID in the master that is either ChildOneID or ChildTwoID based on the ChildType column? I have a number of children and I have simplified it for this question. The other way is to add ChildOneID and ChildTwoID as columns in the master, but since i have a number of columns, I will have a lot of null columns EDIT: Any help is appreciated

• Hibernate: getting a record but it's being updated in the database?

  For some reason Hibernate seems to be keeping my session open and updating the object without me explicitely invoking a save/update/saveorupdate. I guess the session is staying open and it's beeing marked as dirty. However this is not the desired behaviour, so what's the cleanest way to fix this? The issue seems to occur because I store a phone number without formatting in the database but the getter of the object returns a formatted telephone number. My flow: go to a jsp = controller = service = dao DAO getter function if(userId != 0) { return (User)dbFactory.get(User.class, userId); } return null; The service just passes it to the controller and the controller puts te User object in the request scope. I display it on my JSP page using EL.

  I'm using the built-in ajax functionality of MVC2. Basically the user types a search query, and on every key press a set of results for the query is shown. This works fine in almost all cases, but sometimes the server is a bit slow with a single response, and thus the result for the next key stroke is returned before the previous. When the previous key stroke result set is finally returned to the client it will overwrite the results for the newer search query that should actually have been shown. My code follows more or less along these lines: <% using (Ajax.BeginForm("SearchUser", null, new AjaxOptions() { UpdateTargetId = "findUserResults" }, new { id = "findUserAjaxForm" })) {%> Every keystroke submits this form and thus outputs the results in the 'findUserResults' element. How can I prevent older results from being displayed while still making use of the built-in functions provided in MVC2?
