  • TypeLoadException says 'no implementation', but it is implemented

    (I spent a few hours yesterday fighting with this problem, couldn't find any solutions here or anywhere else, so I'm adding this here for anyone else who has this problem.) I've got a very weird bug on our test machine. The error is: System.TypeLoadException: Method 'SetShort' in type 'DummyItem' from assembly 'ActiveViewers (...)' does not have an implementation. I just can't understand why - I'm looking at my code, SetShort is there in the DummyItem class, and I've even recompiled a version with writes to the event log just to make sure that it's not a deployment/versioning issue. The weird thing is that the calling code doesn't even call the SetShort method...

    Hey People, I'm starting to pull my hair out of my head... I have the following: <html> <head> <style> body { margin:0 auto; } </style> </head> <body> <div style="border: solid 1px red; width: 100%;">test</div> </body> </html> This works in IE producing a nice div, 100% width, no H scrollbar... Now in Chrome and FF, it is 1px wider than the window, causing an H scrollbar... Why is that? What SHOULD I be using instead? Thanks a lot! Albert

  • local RTP port unreachable when using mjsip/jmf

    Hello, I create a sip session with mjsip to an external voip provider. Then I transmit a test wav file over rtp to the provider using RtpManager. The program runs with no errors and I answer the sip call. However, no audio is transmitted. When I diagnose the network traffic with wireshark, I see a bunch of RTP traffic from my localhost (behind some kind of nat) to the voip provider and nothing back. After a while I get the ICMP error "Destination unreachable (Port unreachable)" from the provider to my localhost. The software linphone works using the same localhost and voip provider - though it is using a different sip stack. Any suggestions? Thanks

For example: http://somesite.com?passes=dodgy+parameter # BAD http://anothersite.com?passes=a+good+parameter # GOOD My system can make a binary decision about whether or not a URL is good or bad - but ideally I would like it to predict whether or not a previously unseen URL is good or bad. http://some-new-site.com?passes=a+really+dodgy+parameter # BAD I feel the need for a support vector machine (SVM) ... but I need to learn machine learning. Some questions: 1) Is an SVM appropriate for this task? 2) Can I train it with the raw URLs? - without explicitly specifying 'features' 3) How many URLs will I need for it to be good at predictions? 4) What kind of SVM kernel should I use? 5) After I train it, how do I keep it up to date? 6) How do I test unseen URLs again the SVM to decide whether it's good or bad?   • Some unit tests fail in automated Team Build task

    I have an odd situation. I have a suite of unit tests that pass on my dev machine. They pass on the build machine if run from visual studio. But 5 of them reliably fail during the automated build. There is nothing noteworthy about the ones that fail that I can see (and I've stared at them a long time). Anyone seen anything like this? Is there a way to see the test output in the Team Build log? All I get is Passed or Failed messages, but not the Assert message. Thanks!

    Hi All, This is probably something really simple, however I am quite new to PHP, and havent done any HTML in years. I need to get a PHP variable filled with an array of figures into Google Charts. My code for this so far is: <img src="http://chart.apis.google.com/chart? &chs=340x175 &chd=t:<?=$filedetail[1]?> &cht=lc &chtt=Test "> However, Google reports an error, as it stops at the ?=$filedetail[1] for some reason. It doesnt seem that reading the variable is the problem, more that the API simply cant read past the start of the PHP tags. Thanks, Rob A.

  • Why do I get this error when I try to push my SQLite3 to Postgresql (via Taps) on Cedar Stack?

    I've done quite a bit of research on Heroku Dev Center and I am now looking to the community for help. Here is my problem. I can not push my db to Heroku Cedar Stack. I am trying to migrate a sqlite database to postgresql via Taps gem.     Hello, I have setup a Postfix mail server for incoming mails that is required to never reply to external enviornment i.e it will accept all incoming mails and never reply anything that can be used as a trace to locate and verify it's existence. I have implemented the Postfix anti-UCE configuration by using the following settings in postfix main.cf for countering spam generating mail servers: 'smtpd_recipient_restrictions = reject_rbl_client zen.spamhaus.org, reject_rbl_client bl.spamcop.net' Now i have certain doubts/questions: How Postfix is able to communicate with Black hole list providers i.e How this whole process works?, e.g here they are zen.spamhaus.org, bl.spamcop.net, so that i can test the performance of whole process. Can a header be added in the received mail regarding the status of the results of the above verification process, since i will not reply any traces from my incoming mail receiving Postfix server, so i need this feature? I've linked against the jar file as it says to in the modifications, but I still have one lingering error.     I'm having trouble while creating an In App Purchase in iTunes Connect. I have created a test user and am able to see the form for creating the in app purchase. However, when pressing 'Save' I get the following error message: "There was an error saving changes. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact us." This error has persisted for about 24 hours now. Have you encountered this problem, and do you know any way to get around it? Edit 2009-11-10: I just received a response from my email to Apple. It stated that they will start looking into it, and expect to have a solution within three business days. As soon as I hear something new, I'll post it here.

    I'm trying to understand how parallelism might work using PLINQ, given delayed execution. Here is a simple example. string[] words = { "believe", "receipt", "relief", "field" }; bool result = words.AsParallel().Any(w => w.Contains("ei")); With LINQ, I would expect the execution to reach the "receipt" value and return true, without executing the query for rest of the values. If we do this in parallel, the evaluation of "relief" may have began before the result of "receipt" has returned. But once the query knows that "receipt" will cause a true result, will the other threads yield immediately? In my case, this is important because the "any" test may be very expensive, and I would want to free up the processors for execution of other tasks.

    Hi, I don't know if anyone has any expertise with Novell Netware or not, but I situation where one of my clients is getting a weird error trying to move a file to a netware share. The situation is pretty complicated but I'll try and outline it as best I can. 1) The application is running as a service 2) The file to be moved is a local file in an accessible location (to the service) 3) The file is being moved with FileInfo.MoveTo(). 4) The MoveTo is throwing an IOException and the message is "a device attached to the system is not functioning". I'm at a loss as to explain what might be happening. On a side note, it seems that running a small test program interactively using the same method (FileInfo.MoveTo) to the same location works fine so it seems to be associated with the service itself. The problem I discovered in a Unit test (albeit an unlikely event), that the following line could be null: detail.ExpenditureAmounts.FirstOrDefault( amount => amount.isCurrent && !amount.requiresAudit) My original query was a nested loop, in where I would be making multiple trips to the database, something I don't want to repeat. I've looked in to what seemed like some similar questions here, but the solution didn't seem to fit. Any ideas?

    To simplify this test case, I created a new default .NET MVC project in Visual Studio 2010, and added the following code to the HTML header in Site.Master: <script type="text/javascript" src="../../Scripts/jquery-1.4.1.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(document).ready(function () { alert('jQuery document ready'); }); </script> This works as expected in the .NET development server. However, when deployed to IIS7, the jQuery(document).ready function is not executed. Needless to say, my actual application is much more complicated. This eliminates all "suspects" except IIS7 deployment. Any thoughts/suggestions?

I have the following: UnityHelper.DefaultContainer.RegisterInstance(typeof(IMyInterface), "test", instance); where UnityHelper.DefaultContainer is my helper for getting unity container with loaded configuration. here I registered instance as an instance of IMyInterface. So anywhere(some time after using) I want to remove this mapping. Remove it at all. How I can do it? I have tried UnityHelper.DefaultContainer.Teardown(instance) but is was unsuccessfull and the following code returns instance anyway. UnityHelper.DefaultContainer.ResolveAll() Any ideas? Thank you.

    Hello everyone, I'm creating additional module to already multi-module maven project. And for this one I want everything to be like in other modules(meaning dependencies) just to test hello world, then I'll go do some more complex stuff. And it does print hello world as it should when deployed onto jboss server, but I get some strange error on console, had anyone had similar experience? and how can I fix it?   • SQL Server Full-Text Search: Hung processes with MSSEARCH wait type

    We have a SQL Server 2005 SP2 machine running a large number of databases, all of which contain full-text catalogs. Whenever we try to drop one of these databases or rebuild a full-text index, the drop or rebuild process hangs indefinitely with a MSSEARCH wait type. The process can’t be killed, and a server reboot is required to get things running again. Based on a Microsoft forums post[1], it appears that the problem might be an improperly removed full-text catalog. Can anyone recommend a way to determine which catalog is causing the problem, without having to remove all of them? [1] [http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2681739&SiteID=1] “Yes we did have full text catalogues in the database, but since I had disabled full text search for the database, and disabled msftesql, I didn't suspect them. I got however an article from Microsoft support, showing me how I could test for catalogues not properly removed. So I discovered that there still existed an old catalogue, which I ,after and only after re-enabling full text search, were able to delete, since then my backup has worked”
